"uhh...Mudstrike can I guard her" Lilypaw asked boldly. "She's my sister after all and I'll be close to her" she asked.

"Hmm...alright. Shellspeckle are you satisfied with Lilypaw being your backup? She might be an apprentice, but she's shown great promise in her training" he said darkly. Tigerpaw flinched as she thought of her sister, or her mentor attacking her.

"You won't have to" Lilypaw hissed darkly. Tigerpaw didn't say anything. She looked at the dark forest warriors, and shut her eyes tight in hopes of escaping.

"We better get back. It's almost dawn" Shadowflame meowed lowly.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Shellspeckle mocked. "And the Dark Forest has trees. Thanks for saying the obvious." He bumped Lilypaw. "Move it, kit. We need to go."

Lilypaw nodded, and got to her paws, she pushed Tigerpaw ahead of her. The two then woke up in the apprentice den. Tigerpaw lay in her nest with her muzzle on her paws. She looked haunted by what had happened in the dream, still covered in scratches and cuts from the fight. She got to her paws, and half limped half padded out of the apprentice den. How could I be so mouse brained she hissed to herself silently.

Shellspeckle awoke as well. "Well that went well." he muttered sarcastically. He walked over to the medicine den. "Hey, Shadowflame," he called. "Do you have something for these cuts?"

Shadowflame sniffed Shellspeckle and nodded "yeah I have some marigold, and cobwebs" he said simply, and went deeper into his den. He came out, and placed the herbs, and cobwebs on the ground, and worked on Shellspeckle. "Nice fighting there. I didn't know that a StarClan cat could die" he said lowly.

Ivypaw blinked awake, and yawned. She flicked her ear and rolled over so she was on her stomach. She didn't seem to notice the other two looking so bewildered.

Tigerpaw was still thinking of the fight in StarClan. I can't warn anyone...I can't even help myself she thought to herself and drew her ears back. She looked up and saw Shellspeckle pad out of the medicine cat den.

Shellspeckle limped a little, damage from the battle. He saw his daughter wake up and walked to her. "Good morning! Sleep well?"

Lilypaw padded out of the apprentice den, and went to Tigerpaw. She glared at her sister and hissed in her ear "you managed to get caught by those fox hearts" she said lowly. "You better hope StarClan saves you soon" she said lowly, and walked across the camp to Sandfeather, who had been watching the whole thing.

Ivypaw purred as her father approached, and sat up. "Good morning! I did. How about you?" She yawned, not seeing his paw.

Tigerpaw watched at Lilypaw, and Sandfeather padded out of camp. She then licked a wound on her shoulder, her eyes closed, she remembered the fight in StarClan. Rippletail...I'm sorry you died... she thought to herself distractedly, and shook her head clear. She looked at the sky, and sat in silence.

(How would Ivy react if she found out Shellspeckle was training in the Dark Forest?)
