Tigerpaw left the nursery, and let Shellspeckle visit Horizonfeather. She then yawned, and padded to the fresh kill pile where Ivypaw was. "Hey Ivypaw. Is something wrong?" She asked in concern for her Clanmate..

She looked up. "Nah. I'm okay. Just hungry, is all," She said, trying to make her voice sound a bit more cheerful.

Tigerpaw tilted her head slightly. "Are you sure. Did Shadowfl-" she began to ask when Flamestar padded over to her.

"Lilypaw tells me you took down a vulture" he said kindly, and dipped his head in greeting to Ivypaw as he sat down nearby.

"Uh yes" Tigerpaw meowed awkwardly maybe I should talk to Ivypaw later...or I could get her to see what Shadowflame is doing...but how do I get her into my dreams... she thought to herself distractedly.

"Oh, Flamestar!" Ivypaw dipped her head. "I'll leave you two to talk," She got up and padded away, back to the apprentice den.

Tigerpaw nodded "yes it tried to take off with me" she meowed gently.

Flamestar sighed "I'll call a meeting to let the Warriors know to keep their eyes out for vultures" he said reassuringly.

Tigerpaw nodded, and dipped her head "alright." She said softly.

Flamestar got to his paws, and looked like he was going to say something else. He then left Tigerpaw by herself next to the fresh kill pile. He jumps up onto the rock pile, and yowled "let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a clan meeting"

Ivypaw turned around and sat down in front of the den, flicking her ear. She curled her tail over her paws and looked up at Flamestar.

Flamestar looked around, "Tigerpaw has managed to take down a vulture today, and while she's still to young to become a warrior, I thank her for taking it down. We need to be cautious about vultures as they are sometimes to quick for us to see." he continued, and shook the thought away of Tigerpaw being lifted off to her death. He then continued "From now on no apprentice is to leave the camp without a warrior, and cats who are hunting must report any signs of anymore vultures on our territory" he said softly.

Ivypaw hissed slightly at not being able to go out without a warrior. Although, it was kind of like that already. She reminded herself, and found herself soon shrugging off the idea.

(Wouldn't Ivypaw be from a different litter? I think I remember that Horizonfeather was pregnant but I'm not sure.)
Shellspeckle walked out of the nursery to the medicine cat den. "Hey Shadowflame!" he called. "Get out here. I need to talk."

Flamestar looked at Shellspeckle, but shrugged. He then jumped off the rock pile showing the meeting was over. Shadowflame walked out of his den. "Yes Shellspeckle?" he said lowly.

Ivypaw glanced over at her father speaking to the medicine cat, but didn't think much of it. Knowing the clan was fed, she padded back over to the fresh kill pile, taking a mouse back to the apprentice den.

"A cat wouldn't be able to leave the Dark Forest. If they tried to they'd be killed on site" he growled lowly, and glanced at Tigerpaw who was looking at her paws. "She only managed to escape because she ran to those fox hearts in StarClan" he growled. "What is your second question"

Tigerpaw looked at her paws as she thought about the way Ivypaw acted. She then got to her paws, and padded into the apprentice den.

Shellspeckle stood still for a while, as horrible memories from Conchdapple rushed back in. When Shadowflame asked for his second question, he asked "Oh, when do you think Horizonfeather's kits will come?"

Tigerpaw blinked taken aback by her tone. She then walked across the den, and sat in her nest. "Hey Ivypaw...are you sure you're alright?" she asked in concern once more.

Shadowflame thought for a moment "guessing on her size, I say a quarter moon" he said softly.
