I just wanted to ask that the items that are to be exchanged at the mermaid should be caught through rod or any pokemon hatched can do the work in exchange?

Only Pokemon in your fishing box can be given to Leah, she only likes fresh fish so no, hatched Pokemon won't work...

Well, I doubt Emera beach is going anywhere in the near future so it may take awhile to find them.

At least I have a leg up for the shiny rod. I happen to get the starnage ornament. now excuse me, imma dive down in Emera Ocean and get me my last Shellder
