The only information about the caught Pokémon that you see is if it is shiny or not :) That is shown with a shiny sprite and a red star next to the name in your fish box.

You do not see data such as the level, nature, mega-ability etc. before you adopt it.

(Also it's hee hee :b)

I don't think bait matters; it tells you what it does, and it's all time-related. I think only the Rod matters for the pokémon.

I have a question about the shiny pokemons in the fish box. For example, i had caught 20 normal Magicarps, and they were in the fish box. And then i catch a shiny Magicarp, and he is also in the fishbox. Riako told us, that then a shiny sign appears behind the name Madicarp. But have i to adope all the 21 Margicarps in the box to find the single shiny?

It's probably just me but I haven't caught any Shellders at all and it's the only poke I need (threefold) before I can get the super rod and tbh it's kind of irritating me :/
