	Meta had finally perfected bullet punch, and Sirius' Darkest Lariats did more damage thanks to the practice. "I guess you both need a break now." Victor said with a smile, petting Meta, and Sirius. The Pokemon followed Victor to Tiger's house, to get refreshments and some rest. [Read more]

"It’s up to them."
A Darkest Lariat slams into a tree.

"What if they move on with new relationships? Tiger and Mira for instance?
Another Darkest Lariat results in the tree collapsing.

"They'll be happy. I've got no issues if they’re happy. I'd prefer them happy together than gloomy separated." Victor said, with a faint smile.

"Oh, the good, old heartbroken friend..."

"Sirius, you're free to hit Volt instead of a tree if he doesn’t stop."
Sirius roars and prepares a playful attack.

"Let's prepare for the champion battle! Volt squeaked, dodging the move. He was happy with his trainer, and decided to not-so-skilfully change the topic.

Victor made sure all his Pokeballs were with him. "I'll return after some training." He said, and exited from the door.
The trainer walked towards some trees nearby, and sent out Meta, and Sirius.
"Meta, you need to train with your bullet punch. They need to be faster. Practice on the higher-up branches." Victor said, turning to Sirius now.
"Sirius, Darkest Lariat on some of the other trees. We'll be relying on Dark moves more now."

The Pokemon used their respective moves on the trees, and Volt walked over to his trainer.

"Is something wrong?" The Raichu asked.

"No, why? What would be wrong with me?"

"You've been coddling Meta and showering him with affection ever since he hatched. You haven’t given an imperative command to him before. Is it something to do with Mel?"

Victor sighed. "Indirectly."

"I think it’s something to do with the other two."

"The other two?"

"Do I have to do all the explaining? You've been fairly distant from Tiger and Mira. You've talked to Snowflake more than Mira of all things! And this is unnatural behaviour from you. You're isolating yourself.

"Mira can console Tiger fairly well. I don’t think I'm as good at consoling anyone. They fit together well."
