Forum Thread

Let me make this clear, I am not suggesting anything about the adverts on this page.

My suggestion is to make a new subforum in which everyone can advertise their shops, roleplays, clubs etc. I know one can do this by advertising through signatures, or 'About Me's, but this is really tedious. If someone suppose wants to buy an item, then he has to open many threads to check if someone else is selling it. Instead, he/she can visit the advertisement forum and look out for the item ads, and list of users who sell items, and in the brief descriptions, he/she can check who's selling it.
There may be several titles like
1) Items
2) Nuggets
3) Breeders
4) Spriters
5) Pokemon trading shops
etc...

For buying (for example, nuggets), one can visit the Nuggets ads page, to view all those who are selling it, and can buy from that user personally.

I hope I made everything clear. Please justify for not supporting...

No support. They would abuse it, a lot. They will keep making threads and threads and bump and bump. You don't need to advertise stuff. Just bump your post and make it famous. You are just suggesting this cause your posts don't usually get famous, am I right?

They can just show it in the trade shops what they are selling. I don't really see a use of this.

Also, they would waste a lot of time reading and looking what they're selling so they can then go to the shop and buy them. A really waste of time.

Instead of this you can make a new forum thread called Advertisements and ask users who want to advertise their RPs , shops or clubs .And when an user posts their link , you can edit your main post and adding the links to the clubs or games posted by the user .
You may say many users will not want to use this forum for advertising .Whoever wants to advertise they can advertise in the forum .
Who doesn't want to advertise , they're not needed to post their link .So , totally no support .

It really just seems like the forums would get completely spammed and overrun with threads advertising other threads. It would be easier to bump it. I actually like the forums the way they are now.

Why would anyone want to read these advertisement threads instead of the real Art/Trade threads?
It's like opening a second shop in Real Life where you don't sell your products, but just exhibit them for advertisement purposes.

This is basically just for double-posting your threads in an unrelevent new forum category. Which readers would hardly use.
