I don't believe respect can be measured on a level of how much is given. There can only be 3 cases: being respectful; being irrespectful (is that a word?); being ambiguous.

There are several situations about which a person can discuss with another. If when a person is talking about a certain situation with a mod and is being respectful, it's not possible for the said person to talk about the same situation with another person(non-mod) being less respectful except if he has done something non respectful.

Respect cannot be compared. A person can either be respectful, or non respectful.

I do understand that a mod has to go through several situations which a normal user doesn't. But even mods are users too and again, all users should be treated with respect regardless of their status.

I'm pretty sure mods understand they fall under Rule 1. Even though they're staff, they're still users like everyone else. So if someone is disrespectful towards them then they're in their right to warn said user. So I honestly cannot see how useful this can be.

And honestly if mods aren't warning(or at the least giving a friendly reminder) those who are treating them rudely then I honestly don't think this rule would change that? If a mod doesn't feel the person is warnable with the current rules then I don't think their opinion is gonna change with a new one(and I doubt the amount of people badgering them will lessen either considering how some users on here are)

I don't know though. Maybe there's just something about the suggestion I'm not understanding. But I just think that as of now this would be pointless to do. Mods know the rules(they're meant to since they enforce them) and they would(and should) warn those who break them.

The suggested rule is mainly to make the mods feel okay about dishing out warnings, because people are treating them badly.

people are going to treat mods the way they want to treat them, whether theres' rules there or not, sadly.

Yeah, mods definitively deserve respect, but so does everyone else, and rules shouldn't be brought in to make mods look above everyone else, because they're not :/
They're just regular people, looking to support a website they like playing, by helping out users, & making the overall experience on the site much more enjoyable.

tbh, I think all of the mods are okay with dishing out warnings, because that's exactly what they signed up for. They signed up for that position knowing they'll have difficult users to deal with on occasion. If they weren't okay with dishing out warnings, then they wouldn't really be in a moderator position as is.

You are perfectly allowed to post no support, just like you are also allowed to post support, despite there being a button for that too

No, read up before you post. You can't just post either.

You are not supposed to post just No support or just Support without anything besides them. No support for reasons already stated is fine though- A lot of people do it and no mods or Riako said that that's not allowed before.
