New Rule(s)
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Implemented → New Rule(s)These are not the 'exact rule(s)' I'm suggesting, but it should give you at least a picture of what I'm proposing.
Let me quote something in the rules:
A friendly community doesn't make fun of one's gender, sexuality, race and beliefs the last time I checked.
These might apply to rule 1.1.1
Damages has been made. I'm suggesting the new rules to clearly state to not discriminate anyone or somewhere in the rules to show that any kind of behavior that an user found uncomfortable is reportable. The rules is general, but it's invisibility is rather 'dangerous' and some users are not fond of just testing to report others just because they feel uncomfortable.
The reason why I'm suggesting this is, like I said, due to a certain recent 'drama'. An user made fun of the transgender community and others' beliefs.
Some users are triggered when some users mention anything about their beliefs/gender identification/sexuality, especially negative opinions. Others are allowed to have opinions, it's true, but some users, like me, are easily upset with their words and are sensitive about these subjects. PokeHeroes are not there to take care and treat us like a bunch of kids, protecting our oh-so-precious feelings, but some users find the internet as their escape from reality from the harsh real world, and to find their escape to not be any better than their real life- it's not really what you'd call a good situation.
What if one day, you decided to go to your favorite website and then an ignorant user who did not think you are a person behind a screen with actual feelings decided to discriminate who you are and others, too?
To speak for the LGBTQ community;
Most/some of us do not have an accepting family, community, country, etc. We are judged for who we are and are bullied, abused and some of us have depression and suicidal thoughts due to this. Trans live in fear, some countries actually kill trangenders unlawfully. People with different sexualities are always being called out on. Some of us kept fighting on or just keep it hidden, which just kills us from the inside everyday.
And on the internet, the only place we deemed 'safe', to see someone make fun of us, it's really, really sad, to say the least.
If a moderator finds a need to remove any statement above, please feel free to do so.
If someone does something that makes another person uncomfortable or offends them, and the person doesn't know when to stop, of course it is reportable.
If I'm missing some point, please let me know.

Ah, so any kind of behavior that is making an user uncomfortable/has offended them can be reported? What kind of punishment will moderators give to those who did it, may I ask?
And well, even though the rule is general now, it's still pretty obscure in my opinion.
Please never hesitate to report something/someone. Unless you're just trolling or trying to get someone else into trouble, even though they never did a thing, there's no reason to be afraid of "false reporting" or anything.
Just go ahead and report the user(s) in question, state what happened - as detailed as possible - and let the mods do their work. :> We will look into the matter, form an opinion and, in case we do not agree or have questions or whatever, contact you. But we usually take stuff like this very seriously (at least I do); so even if I don't feel the same as the user reporting the issue, having someone else making you feel bad never is an acceptable thing and usually leads to the user(s) in question receiving a warning.

Well, I guess this should be in 'Implemented' due to it sorta being already implemented, but I do believe if the rules be more specific it would, well, help prevent any further confusion. Specific as in 'any kind of unfriendly behavior is reportable' or something along those lines.
The rules should be more specific. I've seen plenty of people saying really bad stuff about things that shouldn't be said in a community like pokeheroes. And when we are already at that - could we also include that people shouldn't mock others grammar? Not everyone is from england or the US - this is a game for everyone around the world. I've seen many people mocking others for their grammar and it makes me sick. Everyone should be treated nicely! It doesn't matter if they have a different sexuality, race, belief or gender.
As for myself - I've dealt with depression since I've been little. I have to take medication and whenever I see someone posting stuff like 'they only want attention' it hurts me. Depression is a serious illness and people who have it shouldn't be mocked about it or spoken lowly about. It won't make it any better if you tell a person whom has suicidal thoughts that they only want attention.
As for the LGBTQ community [I'm sorry that I had to google it before I knew what it is .___.]
every single one of you deserves my respect and I wish you all the happiness you deserve.
if the mods feel like this post doesn't belong here - feel free to delete it!
My Question - If i ask someone what is your gender is it reportable offence ?
Reason For Support - Because if they do not want to tell their personal information and if a user is asking him again and again then they can report
This suggestion is about adding a rule to clear state not to discriminate a certain group of users, be it their genders, race, beliefs, etc. Not specially only to one topic.
It is not about forbidding on sharing your personal information. Someone can already report an user that is asking something they do not like again and again despite being told no many times for harassing them.

It would be great if in the suggestion that mental things were added on more specifically, but since it's encompassed by the "etc.", it isn't exactly necessary.
