Adventcalendar Drawing Contest


Welcome to this year's adventcalendar drawing contest!
As every year, we will be having a new Advent Calendar on PokéHeroes. Every user will have one with 24 doors. Behind every door, there is a small daily task and a reward!

Obviously, this Advent Calendar needs a nice design - and that's why we are organizing this contest for all the great digital artists out there!

Reward
The motivation first: The three best artworks will be available as advent calendar designs for this year. The artists of these three artworks will get a new Shiny Winter/Christmas Event Pokémon which will be released during December.

Artwork Requirements
File Type: .PNG
Image Size: 650 x 1000 px (width x height)
Artwork Type: Digital, no transparency
Artwork Design: The design is basically up to you, but it needs to be Christmas-related and Pokémon-related in some way. (For example: A christmas tree; a Pokémon writing a wish list; a christmas dinner etc.). There needs to be at least one Pokémon on it.
File Upload: Please upload it to a website which doesn't delete it within the next 30 days. (Recommended: sta.sh, tinypic.com)
(Edit: pay attention; tinypic might change your extension to .jpg, which won't be qualified for entry)
Copyright: The artwork has to be drawn completely by you. You are not allowed to include images from other artists.

Please post your finished artwork in this thread!

Deadline
The deadline is November 25th, 23:59.
The winners will be chosen by the staff based on quality.

Endy: I'm not an art expert, but I'd say that vector artworks look the same as "normally" drawn digital artworks, just that the lines are probably smoother :) (Or at least very similiar). So I don't see a problem with it.

Also forgot to add that you are not allowed to include artworks of other artists (e.g. Pokemon sprites)

With Vector, there are usually no lines, and the shading is a bit different, would you like to see a example if that'll help?

1. Do we need to be able to post on a social network site or just be able to copy and paste to the forum?
2. Are fusions allowed or only normal pokemon?
3. As an artist myself, I love this idea! Hope for more like it in the future! <3 Can't wait to see all the awesome work!! :D

Why only digital art? I am used to traditional art with Copic Marker ;___;

Is it right, that we only draw in upright format?

I would assume it wouldn't matter if it was vector, raster or pixel art as they are all forms of digital art.

Regarding Skyynerds posting, which sounds interesting, is it allowed to do sprites or pixeling? would definitely give it a try, if so...or are you just asking for a drawing and making a sprite out of it is up to the site artists?

YES!!!! I haven't drew much lately due to art block,this is what I need apparently how many drawings can you enter? alot of drawing contest usually maxes 3 but I want to be sure so I don't draw over the maxed limit

I draw traditionally and then I trace it on sai or photoshop with a mouse. I do not have a tablet.
