A tone could be heard projecting from the intercom, followed by a female's voice. "Attention, teachers and students, please make your way to the dining hall for the assembly and orientation." she directed before a click could be heard signifying the announcement had ended.

Spencer frowned slightly, not being able to help Oliver unpack. "I'll help you after the assembly, okay?" he assured while walking out of their dorm and downstairs to the dining hall following the crowd of students who'd already been making their way there.

Shay, upset she hadn't been able to meet her new roommate, wrote a note on a sticky note that read 'Hey, I'm looking forward to meeting you!' before slapping it on the door and running downstairs to hopefully find her twin brother.

Ethan approached the school he'd be spending at least another year of his life in. He was looking forward to it, but also dreaded it at the same time. He wanted to advance his powers, yet, he didn't want to interact with other students.
Ethan entered the school and into the office. A woman, who he assumed was some sort of a secretary, told him to find his name on the list. Ethan glanced his eyes over the paper and found his name near the bottom of the page. He checked where his room was located, and then checked who his room-mate was; 'Randolph Smith'. He sounds boring. I bet he's good, Ugh. Ethan thought to himself.
He left the office and headed down a long hallway, passing countless classrooms, until he neared two large staircases on either side of him. Left was the male dorms, right was the female's. Up the left stairs he went.
When he finally reached his room, he opened the door and entered. He had expected his roommate to be there before him, but, he was wrong. It was a pretty standard room. Window opposite the door, bed and dresser and wardrobe on the left, bed and dresser and wardrobe on the right. Ethan took the left side of the room.
Just as he was about to unpack, the speakers announced than an assembly would be taking place. He threw his bag on the bed, and made his way to the dining hall.

Marcus was already outside when the intercom sounded. He quietly listened to the short message before making his way to the dining hall, following the other students. Once inside, Marcus sat down at the nearest table to the back. "This is probably going to be boring." He mused to himself.

Joanne places her book on the bed and gets up."well lets get this over with"she said with a small grin as she walked out of her dorm.she notices shay run pass her before she went to the stiars to go to the assembly.

Ryan, upon hearing the announcement, breathes a sigh of relief when he realizes he isn't late--far from it, actually. He takes a seat in the very back, spotting North, his roommate, near the back as well and groans internally.

A fluffy bundle claws its way onto her shoulder but she takes the claws digging into her shoulder without a grimace, already used to it. Kaetlynn heads towards said dining hall, Cheshire licking his lips and purring quietly.

Angelica gasped when she heard the announcement. "Oh crap! I never even made it to my dorm." She groaned. Maybe if I run I can just drop it off... She shook her head. Nah. She grabbed her bag again and walked to the dining hall. "I didn't even get to meet my roommate." She rolled her eyes. Angelica opened the door to the dining hall and sat at the first table she saw.

"Well, it's not like I'm a super-villain or anything, but I've been sorted into evil I guess. What about you?" Bellatrix asked, just before the intercom conveyed it's message to the students. "Oh, well, I guess we can talk about this later, I guess?" She said with a shrug before walking into the hallway to the dining hall. She walked into the room and glanced around the room as most of the seat were taken by other students. She walked towards the back of the room, over to a student sitting alone at a table in the back. "Hey, do you mind if I sit with you?" She asked the boy, who, she noticed, had quite strange yellow eyes.

Kauri sighed as she finished unpacking all of her things, grabbing her mint colored satchel as she stepped shyly into the hallway, silently following some instructions written down in her notepad, which she had written so she wouldn't get lost in the case of any "incidents." She blended in with the crowd of students walking to the dining hall, trying to avoid any physical contact with anyone.

Glaring at a random passer-by who seemed rather puzzled by his unprovoked hostility, Randy strode into the dorms after being unnecessarily rude at the nice lady at the front desk. The school year was already starting fantastically. As he was walking, a female voice suddenly coming from the intercom startled the boy slightly. So a stupid assembly he had to attend to was starting already? Awesome. He had to stop by his room before heading to the dining hall though.

It didn't take too long for the lad to locate his room and he carelessly flung the door open before stepping into the room and absentmindedly kicking the door shut again with his foot. He didn't have the time to unpack his stuff nor would he had felt like it anyway so he merely threw his luggage on the right side of the room, as someone had apparently already claimed the left side before he got there, before he was out of the door again. Randy really hoped the guy whose bag was on the left wasn't a complete moron.

Strolling through the halls yet again, Randy didn't pay much attention to the other students swarming around as he made his way to the dining hall, Upon entering the room, the lad sat down at the table at the back, so there would be a minimal amount of people behind his back, with a huff and crossed his arms. The assembly was most likely going to be just a stupid boring lecture that they had all heard a thousand times over already.

"Hey, do you mind if I sit with you?"

Marcus glanced up at the voice, taking in the bright hair and eyes. He smirked, his trademark expression. "As long as you don't bother me, I don't care at all." He said turning away to look at the front.

Joanne enters the Dining room and sits at the end of the table. she hopes that she could avoid some people and get this over with.

She nodded at Bellatrix's response, and smiled at the intercom announcement. "Au revoir," she said as the girl left and she followed a minute later, taking her backpack with her. "Ahh, time to meet all of the poor unsuspecting victims," she said to herself with a smile as she left, heading towards the dining hall, but taking the chance to make one of the gossip girls in the hallway have an angry fit as she bumped into her. When she got to the dining hall, it was still empty enough for her to get a fairly empty space at a table near the back. She sat back and looked around at all the other kids and the way they interacted with each other. 'Oh the possibilities,' she thought to herself as she sucked on her lollipop.

Ethan entered the hall and sat down at one of the tables closest to him. There were a few other people at the table, but he didn't bother asking whether he could sit there or not. He was given a few strange looks, but he just pretended to have not noticed them.
Ethan sat in silence, watching as more and more students piled into the hall, wondering if his roommate was amongst them.
He was starting to get bored and was hoping that the assembly would hurry up and begin...

"Gotcha." She said with a smile and a nod, sitting down next to the student. "So, I'm Bellatrix." She said, with a glance to the student next to her.

Kauri sat down at an empty table in the farthest corner of the dining hall, setting her bag down in front of her and taking out her notepad and pencil to write down everything so she wouldn't forget.

"Marcus. Marcus North." He replied without looking at her. I'll entertain her for a bit.

"Okay, sounds good," was all Oliver responded before following his roommate out of their room, leaving his suitcase open upon his bed.
Following closely behind his roommate, he took a more thorough look around at his surroundings. The stairs and halls were flooded now with everyone exiting their rooms to join in on the assembly. He never realized this school would have so many people. Some of the students dressed like the average people you would see everyday, but there were others who stuck out to him. He began to grow curious about these people.
It was soon before they reached the dining hall. The tables were already starting to fill up quickly with the rest of the unfamiliar people from the school. Oliver caught up behind his roommate and tapped on his shoulder. "Hey, would you mind if I sat with you during this?" he asked, looking around for an empty table. He didn't know anyone else here yet and he didn't exactly want to sit at a table with the people he hadn't spoken to beforehand.

Spencer looked up as his shoulder was tapped to see none other than his dark haired, hazel eyed roommate. "Sure, go ahead." he accepted with a smile. Shay, who'd been sitting at the table across from her twin widened her eyes at Spencer, mentally telling him to introduce his new friend to her.
"Oh, right, uh. Oliver, this is my twin sister Shay. Shay, this is my new roommate, Oli." he introduced with a smile plastered on his face.

Shortly after it seemed everyone had gotten settled into the Dining Hall, the secretary from the office entered and raised one of her hands into the air to tell the chatty students to quiet themselves.
The secretary then motioned for the students to turn towards one of the ends of the room where a large stage was placed.

A woman appeared in a flurry of orbs whilst a man appeared in flames beside her, both appearing to in their late forties, early fifties.

"Welcome to Magic School, for lack of a better name," the woman started with a British accent, "My name is Emilia Barkridge and I am the headmistress of the good students in this school."
"And I'm Balthazar Morgan, head of the evildoers here," the male stated with an American accent, more relaxed and casual than Emiliar Barkridge. "We hope you've come here to learn to grow your powers and evolve them. Learn new skills you've never been able to do before, channel your magic to the best of your ability." he finished before Emilia snapped her fingers as a sheet of paper appeared in front of every student.

"Assuming you've already gone over the rules, this is your desired class roster. Please fill it out in the order of what classes you'd prefer at the top and turn it into the dropbox in the office. Every student will have their final schedule given to them tomorrow and if you'd like any changes, please see myself or Headmaster Morgan. There will be eight periods a day each lasting an hour with lunch being the fourth. Four of which will be some form of magical study. Everyone will have Human Studies and the time it is taken is based on age. Failure to attend these classes may cause you to fail the academy so be sure you keep up with your workload as often as possible and try not to cut class too much." the headmistress explained while her evil equal nodded in agreement.

"For the time being, feel free to tour the campus or go to your dorms. You will not be allowed into the outside world until after school hours and failure to be in your dorms by curfew will result in a punishment, increasing in severity for every consecutive time it happens. That is all either of us have to say, now please enjoy yourselves and see us or any of the professors if you have questions." Headmaster Morgan explained before he flamed, and Headmistress Barkridge orbed, out.

Marcus observed the two heads as they spoke. These are the ones who lead this whole school. He leaned back after memorizing their faces. How interesting.
After the dismissal Marcus wasted no time in leaving, disregarding anything the person sitting next to him was saying. I need to figure out what classes to take.

Once the assembly was over, Kauri immediately snuck out into the hallway while other students were socializing and the like. She flipped through her notepad, looking for the directions she had written to the school library, not watching where she was going. She ended up bumping into Marcus, accidentally dropping her notepad on the ground. "O-oh, sorry, I didn't m-mean to bump into y-you!" She said quietly, scooping her notepad off the ground with downcast eyes.

Bellatrix glanced around the room before looking down at the roster. She tucked this away in her pocket, instead deciding to attempt to socialize with other students. She noticed that one student was petting a cat, and she walked over to her side. "Hi! Is this your cat? It's awfully cute!" She chirped, crouching down to scratch under the cat's chin.
