Bonum Et Malum: Magic School [PG-13]
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Bonum Et Malum: Magic School [PG-13]The first page opened up onto a table the contents; Capabilities, Limitations, Techniques.
Ethan decided he would read the book from start to finish, so he flicked over a few pages to the Capabilities section. It went on to explain that beings at an advanced level of water manipulation could manipulate water in all of it's forms, and are able to change these forms from one to the other at will. Ethan wasn't the most advanced, so currently he was only able to manipulate water in it's liquid form.
He flipped over to the next section; Limitations.
This section began by explaining that, although possible, creating your own water by drawing the moisture from air was not recommended as there rarely ever enough moisture to create a sufficient amount of water. And that most Hydrokinetics carried around their own water source. Hmm, I should really start doing that, Ethan thought.
Ethan then turned over to the next section; Techniques.
"I won't need the bathroom just yet," he explained, "I want to make sure this bleeding stops first. Eh, I put too much strain on my body from practicing my power, I'm guessing."
Though, laying down sure did allow some of his energy to come back soon enough. And yet again, he was grateful for Spencer's help.

I don't have anything to put the in, so I guess I'll have to carry it along with me... Ethan thought as he opened his door, headed up the hall and entered the bathroom.
Once in the bathroom, he turned on one of the taps, raised both his hands, facing them towards the sink and began to control the water. As the water came out of the tap, it would slowly move through the air and begin wrap itself around Ethan, almost like a serpent trapping it's prey.

After exiting the bathroom, he slowly walked down the hall back to his dorm. He felt his face become warm as he thought about returning to his dorm. 'He's a nice guy...' he thought, thinking about his roommate who'd nose had been practically pouring out blood.
The male then walked back over to his bed and sat down, looking at his bloodied hand. Moments later, he heard the door open and Spencer walked right in.

Once Ethan had collect enough water, he carefully manoeuvred back to his dorm, trying not to lose concentration and accidentally drenching the entire hallway.
Once he got inside, Randy went to drop off the paper with his classes, that had gotten somewhat crumbled during the ordeal, before heading to the dorms. The lad was rather indifferent to the fact that he was dripping water everywhere while he was walking around. Arriving outside his room, Randy flung the door open rather carelessly but stopped in his tracks before stepping inside. Some guy, his roommate apparently, was there with water swirling around him.
With water dripping down his face, Randy stared at the guy, whose name he had seen when he had been given his room number but which he couldn't remember anymore, with a dull uninterested gaze before stepping into the room and closing the door behind himself. "If you plan on playing with that water, keep it away from me. I've been drenched enough today, thank you very much," Randy stated with light distaste lacing his voice while running a hand through his wet hair.
(I honestly don't know what to do with my characters XP)

Ethan spun around to face him. He noticed that he was a few inches taller than Ethan and had brown hair. He guessed this was his new roommate.
"And you must be Randolph." Ethan said to him. Ethan was trying to gauge whether he was good or evil, but couldn't tell. "I'm Ethan."
After Spencer finished, he walked the blood-stained paper towels the the trash can, took off his shirt, and practically threw himself onto his bed. He sat up and bit his bottom lip before pausing and turning to Oliver. "Is it alright if I ... come over there?" he asked nervously as his face began to warm while turning red.
Oliver, too, pulled off his loose dark gray shirt, and threw it on the flood next to the library book. He slowly laid himself down on the bed, letting a sigh escape his mouth. He noticed that Spencer, too, was basically doing the same. Oli looked up at the ceiling, crossing his arms under his head, to keep it propped up. From the corner of his eye, he saw Spencer sit up in his bed. The male looked over and listened as Spencer asked if he could come over to his side. "Come over..?" he asked aloud, realizing what the male meant moments after. The male's heart quickened, though he gave a small smile. "Of course," he murmured, moving himself over to leave some room for Spencer on the other side of his bed.

Also @NyanCat15: There is currently no classes to be late to. It's evening on the first day and there was no classes yet, only an assembly where the students were given papers where they could write down what classes they wished to take.))
Randy narrowed his eyes when his roommate used his full name. He hated that blasted name and he sure as heck wasn't going to have anyone use it, regardless whether this Ethan guy had only seen his name on a paper and didn't know any better or not. "It's Randy," the lad stated matter-of-factly with a warning tone before shrugging his leather jacket off. The lad threw the wet piece of clothing carelessly on top of his bag on the floor. His plain and simple dark blue shirt was fairly dry due to the protection of the jacket but his black jeans were rather damp and uncomfortable. However, he made no move to change his clothes.
"You're no weirdo or a psycho murderer, right?" Randy asked as he crossed his arms and shifted his weight from one foot to another. "Because I don't feel like killing you right away." Truthfully, the younger looking guy seemed rather harmless, Randy was probably more likely to appear as a psycho murderer from the two no matter who you asked.
"Okay then, Randy," Ethan said in a mocking-like tone. He continued, "you've seen my powers, why don't you tell me what yours are. And also, no, I don't want to kill you right away either." He said with a smirk.
Ethan wasn't sure whether he liked his new roommate yet, maybe he just needed to get used to him.
