I think they mean the castform. They change at random and they give a exp boost to a specific type. Like the current one which is cold castform gives a boost to steel type pokemon.

No, Eevee will only be able to evolve and bring some PDs back, but no other items.

Ice gems can be gotten by rumbling in Rocky Cave. They are also obtainable through mystery boxes, the treasure hunt, and golden slot.

Your gems will merge and you'll get an item, or a "foul smelling product" of which will result in nothing. The items I can think of off the top of my head you can get are mega stones, evolution stones, and nuggets.

Yes, they can. Not as often as they'd be in the party, though.

So the poke radar is for trying to get a shiny right?

So do you need a poke radar so you can get a shiny if you could?

You are able to hatch a shiny pokemon without the pokemon radar, though the chances are very slim (i think almost as bad as in the game 1/8000ish)

With a pokeradar you are able to chain a pokemon in order to raise your chance at hatching a shiny pokemon
