When we open an auction, it says at the bottom of the page the time left for it to expire, but it doesn't move, it says the same time even if we leave the tab open for minutes.

My suggestion is to make that timer active, so the time will go down when we are viewing the auction.

This would be useful for some users because sometimes, when I bid for something I'm outbid at the last second and that is disappointing, so this would make easier to know when will the auction end so we can defend our bids.

I hope that it is clear. If not, I can try to explain better.

Same here, and refreshing clears out the number one might've pre-entered to quickly increase the bid with in case someone jumps in at the last second. So, full support from me as well.

But remember, the "highest bid" display has to refresh itself, too. You have my support, though I slightly remember that we had this idea during the first month of Pokeheroes and I think (my memory isn't really clear so sorry if I say something wrong) Riako declined this suggestion for whatever reason. I can't really remember but I know we had this idea very early.

I'm pretty sure the 'Highest Bid' refreshes, only if you click the Pokemon.

Yes, the highest bid refreshes every second. Seeing that the server time also runs, it shouldn't be a problem with potentially conflicting timers, so if there's a reason, it's probably not directly of the technical kind. Maybe it's to prevent people from missing out because they relied on an inaccurate countdown?

FULL SUPPORT, this is an awesome idea that helps trainers to have a better taste of what TRUE bidding feels like.

Only because it is "hard to make", doesn't mean it's a bad idea. If the idea is really good, it is worth the work. And we already have active timers, e.g. during Rumble missions. I don't know if I already supported, anyway, I do!

I don't get into those "bidding wars" much, but when I do it's annoying to constantly refresh.
