Plus if you knew who hated you on a poll then you could easily PM/Palpad them VERY rude things (I dont even like polls with "Do you like me?" And answers such as "NO I HATE YOU GO DIE")

If you don't want to see people vote on something don't put it in the poll [Stuff like Go kill yourself etc.] I personally like the polls as they are now [Anonymous] because sometimes I don't want people to see what I voted on- if you want to see who voted for what you can simply post a feed saying: If you want you can post what you voted on here. As far as I see it making polls not anonymous would create a ton of problems and it wouldn't have too many benefits either.

Harkness is right and I DO NOT support it anyway.

This will bring up pairs who hate each other and would sometimes make some people fall in difficult situations.
For example you are friends with two people who hate each other because of some poll click and they both want to battle you in the same time!! Then what to do?

I semi-support this idea. Like the others said, most people don't really want to see who voted 'I hate you!' On their polls. Perhaps if you get to choose if you'd like to be anonymous when voting would be a better idea?

dead thread, but i got fussed at by a fellow player, for making my thread, because it's already been suggested, despite the thread being over two years old

i actually support this.
i hadn't seen this when i made my thread.
just a small edit/suggestion:
there could be a possible "show votes on polls" button under "profile settings" or even "show on poll?" question when voting on individual polls.
or even a setting when making the poll "anonymous? yes or no" and have a little astrick (**) at the top of the poll stating whether or not it's anonymous.
like i said in my thread i started, i might be biased since my lottery is mostly based around knowing who votes what pokemon on my polls, but at the same time, i'm pretty sure others are curious also.
and truthfully, i think it'll discourage those attention seeking polls of "do you like me? yes, no, kill yourself, you're stupid, etc" if you don't want to see people answer negatively, why would you have it there in the first place, other than to have people feel bad for you.
this is literally the only site i've played on that the polls are anonymous, amongst other things.

I don't think this would in any way stop those who vote "Kill yourself". Some of these people would absolutely love for you to know who it is. They thrive on the drama. Yes. It's going to stop many people, but you're now opening the doors for those who want the negative attention.

These polls should be for Pokemon related stuff anyway, not childish questions/responses like "Do you hate me?" or "Kill yourself". And there is no reason to care what other people think of you anyway; just shows a lack of maturity/self-confidence that you had to ask such a question to begin with.

Personally,

I think polls should be reportable if they don't follow a certain guideline.
I don't think who voted should be visible whatsoever. Regardless of your desire to know, I doubt the mods want to deal with hundreds of reports of "This person said to kill myself" when they're already dealing with dozens of other truly important cases.

i really like this idea cause it would be nice to know who voted if u did a friendship type thing to see who would like u or not an it will give u the option to block them if ud like :)
