"No, I don't. Now hurry up and spit it out, because I really wanna sleep." Skye said to Ateer as she yawned. Slowly, Skye shifted into her Gijinka form.

''I don't know, but but we can always make a shelter in this forest.'' - Crono answered. ''We can't just wander infinitely, we need to have a base!''

"Yes, you're right, we do, but we need a good and safe base to sleep in, because otherwise it's not a base. Well, a secure one, anyway." Skye said as she looked around at the terrain. "Hey, there's a mountain over there, maybe we could make a base there!" Skye said.

Brittan shuffled along the sidewalk as he concentrated on keeping his human appearance. His other forms came so naturally to him, he didn't understand why he had to focus so much to stay human. He had been human by birth, after all. Perhaps it was the Distortion World calling to him.

His thoughts were interrupted when he crashed into a bench. His body did a 180 and he face-planted onto the pavement. The sharp pain that greeted his face was all it needed to break his concentration. His left arm practically ripped open as it shifted back into its monstrous form, and his "anchor" to reality slipped enough that he was sent spiraling through the Distortion World.

Not again, he thought as he searched for another anchor to the real world somewhere. Anywhere. He quickly found one, and focused on attaching himself to it. The next thing he knew, he was hitting the ground face-first once again. With a grunt, he pushed himself onto his back, blinking the blurriness out of his vision. The first thing he saw were several figures standing nearby.

"Ugh, where...? Where did I end up?" He groaned, holding his normal hand to his head.

(That was a lot of reading, but I think I got the gist of it. >.<)

"I was thinking if we put our energy together, I might be able to Teleport us somewhere Tara way enough to be safe."

Bellatrix couldn't seem to see where any of her new friends were from the top of the tree. She climbed down to the base of the tree, before she jumped back in surprise as someone landed behind her. The young man sitting on the ground had light brown hair and red eyes, but that's not what caught her attention. Her attention was instinctively drawn to his arm, which seemed to be a smooth black limb tipped with cherry red claws. Bellatrix instantly knew he was a binary. She blurted out the first thing that popped into her mind. "Holy motherfudge you're hot." Bellatrix's whole face went red and she slapped her hands over her mouth as her tail and ears popped into existence. As a mew gijinka, she had the ability to take attributes from her other forms and apply them to the form she was currently in, via transform, and often did it without thinking.

Brittan blinked his vision clear enough to reveal a short, tomboy-looking girl. Upon closer inspection, it appeared that she had the ears and tail of a Mew, possibly making her a binary like him. I hope I didn't hit my head too hard on those landings, he thought to himself. Although she seems real enough...

His hand came away from his head slightly bloodied, but he decided that it wasn't enough for him to be concerned about it right now.

"Holy motherfudge you're hot," the girl said to him.

"Uh, thanks I guess? What's your name, kid?" He asked the Mew-girl. He also took the time to examine the other people in the area. As he looked around, his suspicions were eventually confirmed that most or all of them were binaries. Come to think of it, that's probably why I was able to anchor down here. There's so much raw power, I can literally feel it in the air.

The group seemed to be exhausted, and one of them even appeared to be unconscious. "Geez, looks like you guys had a rough time out here." He would feel bad just leaving them here, in the state they were in. He felt obligated to help them in some way. "Hey, if you guys need anything, I can get it for you. I need to get myself an ice pack after today, anyway." He tenderly touched his head. It didn't seem to be bleeding too much anymore, but he could feel a pounding headache coming on.

"Ice pack?" Bellatrix remembered the satchel slung around her shoulder. She dug into it, reaching into her pocket dimension, a gift from distant family. She pulled out an ice pack, holding it out to the stranger. She glanced behind her to see some other binaries. "I don't know most of them. I think Riona's over there? Iunno. My name is bellatrix, what's yours?" she asked cheerfully. She felt ripples of pain emanating off of him, so she pulled out some painkillers as well, handing them over. "I like your arm." she said, her mew-like features fading away as she touched his smooth black skin.

Analissa burst into the clearing, her three antigravity stars spinning around her like mad. "RIONA!" She screamed, seeing the unconscious figure of her sister lying on the ground.

In a blink of an eye, she was by Riona's side, her features melting back into human form. She yanked her bracelet off her hand, not caring that her dress was getting dirty from kneeling on the ground.

"Jirachi, I summon you!" Analissa called, tearing a charm off her bracelet and tossing it into the air.

The sun glinted off the star charm, and for a brief moment, the whole forest was enveloped in light. Analissa did not care that the other Binaries were there. Panic had settled in her, and all she could do was swallow back her fear and attempt to help her sister.

A bright, glowing figure flashed into existence right in front of Analissa. "You called, daughter?" It asked in a neutral tone, its voice emanating through the entire forest.

Ana nodded, blinking back tears and gripped Riona's limp hand tightly. The figure understood immediately, and Riona's body was briefly surrounded by a golden light. "She has been reduced to less than a third of her power, and has been exposed to one of His. Her mother protects her, but how long that lasts, I do not know," the figure explained her analysis neutrally.

"Rio's a strong girl," Ana protested.

"But even the strong can fall, little Ana," the figure replied.

Ana shook away the sad feeling when she heard "little Ana". Her mother used to call her that, back in their world. Her real, human mother. She had to focus on Riona, who definitely needed help. "Then help me! Tell me what to do!" She burst out.

The figure was silent for a moment before speaking. "She is indeed strong. We need no more deaths. Find the blood of Diana, at the peak of that mountain, before sunset tomorrow. Then she may survive."

Before Analissa could even open her mouth, the figure disappeared in a shower of dramatic multicolored sparkles. She gritted her teeth and picked up her star charm from the ground, reluctantly putting it back on her bracelet. She couldn't lose her temper. Not now, when Riona was dying. So absorbed in her thoughts did Ana only then realize she was not alone.

"...Well, this is awkward," she mumbled at the others, picking herself up from the ground.

Bellatrix spun on her heel to face Analissa and Riona. "Yay! You're not dead!" She exclaimed happily. "Oh shoot, top of the mountain by sunset? That'll be a close one, it's noon already. But... maybe I can help..." Bellatrix walked to Riona's side, placing her hands over her friend's body. Her palms began to glow a soft pinkish hue as she unwittingly shifted into her gijinka form. After the glowing ceased, she collapsed onto the ground. "Fuudddgge, that's a lot of pain! Ugh, it hurts all over! Pain split's a last resort, but that should stretch out our time a bit." Bellatrix said, heating herself up. She had lived through a great deal of suffering, but this move allowed her to take someone else's, and allow her to lend that person some of her energy. "Hey giratinian binary! Why don't you come over here with us? I have doooonuuutts~" She called, pulling out a picnic blanket and several donuts of varying types out of her bag. She sat down hard onto the blanket after she set it up, her legs giving out. It had been a long day, and she wanted to take a short break before going back to running around frantically.

"Guys, if you can lend me some of your energy I can transport us to the base of the mountain and we can rest for the night. Then we can start the climb in the morning." Ateer volunteered.

"Uh... we need who-knows-what's blood before sunset, Ateer. Like, are you deaf?" Skye questioned.

"The Jirachi said until tomorrow's sunset, I was paying attention." Ateer huffed

Ana's head snapped up and her eyes narrowed. Her striking blue eyes seemed to be analyzing the guy who had just spoken.

"You look familiar. Have I seen you before?" She asked slowly, her eyes seemingly piercing.

She cautiously picked up a doughnut from the Mew Binary's stash. "Hope you don't mind," she muttered as she bit into it.

The taste was nostalgic, as the doughnut was strawberry with honeycomb filling - her favorite from home. She paused a moment to savor it before biting into it again.

''...I don't know... This whole thing sounds very suspicious. Should we really listen to her?'' - Crono muttered to the others. It's very hard to gain his trust. He always overestimates little things. ''On the other hand, I don't want this girl to just die.''
