Halting mid-air, Riona turned, now flying backwards. She immediately reversed course when she noted that the boy who had helped them had stopped, choosing to fly back and alongside the newcomers.

"My sister called them Void gijinkas. Apparently they're under some kind of spell," she added to the conversation grimly. "Their eyes are freaky. They look like...ugh, I can't even describe how terrifying they are to look at."

Riona flexed her wings, testing their full span. They shielded her completely from anything above, casting a large shadow below. "Nice to meet you guys. Riona Miracle. My sister is Analissa, but unfortunately she was incapacitated," she said quietly.

Another random wave rose from the depths, heading straight for them. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say we were in the middle of the ocean!" Riona yelled, firing another Dragon Pulse.

From the hole made by her attack, three figures slipped through, heading for them as well. Meaning they had a wave and three Void gijinkas after them.

"Oh, hell, those are prisms of death," Riona shuddered as she made eye contact with the spellbound Butterfree gijinkas.

She attempted to fire another Dragon Pulse, but to no avail. "Crap! Ran out of power!" She cursed vehemently under her breath.

"They definitely were like that." Ateer said as he tried to force the wave away. He managed to slow it down quite a bit then used his wings to cause a strong gust of wind at the Three fling Gijinkas, knocking them into the water. "Come on, I can only hol this thing for a small amount of time." He urged the four Binaries

"Well, don't look at me, I can't help!" Skye said as she fired a Dragon Pulse in place of Riona and called a lightning strike at the three Butterfree. Skye was panting heavily by now, and her eyelids were half closed.

"Well, how about we run for now and deal with them when I'm not about to pass out. This is my first time controlling this much water." Ateer said as he sent a phsycic attack and knocked one back into the water.

"Sure..." Skye said as she yawned. She had never before called lightning along with using Dragon Pulse, and it was starting to affect her body. With another yawn, Skye flapped her wings and rose up to the sky.

Riona was too slow to follow. One of the Butterfree gijinkas had reached her before she could even register the fact that the two others had flown away. She resisted the urge to scream in pain as the gijinka showered her with a fresh dose of Poisonpowder. The gijinka's hands clawed into her shoulders where she was held, and she was too weak to fight back.

Finally, she couldn't hold it back anymore. She let out a terrified scream of pain, somewhat startling the Void gijinka, loosening their grip on her. With a flap of her enormous wings, she swatted it away. Unfortunately, the poison was starting to kick in, and Riona's vision was blurring.

The Void gijinka had recovered, and its companions had as well. Black spots danced in her vision, and Riona felt herself lose control of her wings.

"If you're going to burn, you might as well burn bright," Riona heard the faint memory of her mother reading her a story. She smiled despite the pain.

"Evil will never be completely gone, sweetie. We can only hold off its forces," Riona felt her mother's lips on her forehead as she was tucked into bed.

"Burn..bright.." Riona mumbled, spreading her wings to their limit. Her eyes flashed orange.

An explosion rippled forth from the last dregs of her strength, pushing back the water to reveal the wet yet grassy ground. Sizzling hot flames shrouded Riona, scorching the nearing Void gijinkas and throwing them onto the now dry ground.

As she free fell to the ground, Riona slowed enough to land gently on her back. The fire died out, yet the ground around her lay scorched. The waters around her had retreated to another part of the forest, but Riona didn't even notice.

She flickered back into her human form, and human clothes before passing out and coming into a coma.

((I figured since she started the rain, she should at least stop part of the flooding, lol.))

Skye folded her wings against her body as she saw Riona fall to the ground, which was scorched. She may be tired, but Riona was out cold and need help, quickly. As Skye landed and shifted into her human form, she gently shook Riona. Yep, she's out cold. "Can anyone use Telepathy?" She asked the group.

Ateer felt more than saw the two females drop. He tucked in his wings and dove to the ground, spreading them at the last minute to stop his descent. He landed carefully by Riona and Skye. "I can use it, what do you need me to do?"

"Tell her she needs to wake up in..." Skye looked around, noticing no sign of danger. "Oh, about a few minutes if she doesn't want to be fried." Skye said when quite a few Void gijinkas around. "And if she questions why she should live... just remind her of someone she loves." Skye said with another yawn.

"Alright, try to hold them off as long as you can, I don't know how long this will take." Ateer knelt by Riona and let his mind relax. He imagined his powers as a single tendril and used it to probe into Riona's mind. It wasn't easy since her mind had natural barriers by he was able to work his way in. 'Riona, we need you to wake up,'
(I kinda got some of the mental powers from Eragon if anyone has read the series)

Riona didn't budge. It was too dark...way too dark...She couldn't see, move, feel, or do anything.

"GET OUT," An eerie voice yelled at Ateer. "OUT. YOU MAY NOT WAKE HER.

What were those sounds? She felt so weak...so vulnerable..

"IF YOU INTERRUPT YOU MAY KILL HER," The voice shouted even louder, pushing and shoving Ateer's consciousness out of Riona's mind.

Ateer...? Wasn't he the Binary of....?

Azelf.

Who was that voice...?

But then Riona fell deeper into the darkness.

Typically, Analissa woke in a cozy cabin on the bed, in human form. Something in the back of her mind was bugging her even as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Then it hit her.

"RIONA!" She yelled, shifting automatically into gijinka form.

She didn't bother to investigate the cabin. She flew straight out of the open window, zigzagging her way through the nearby forest. She didn't care about why the cabin was so near the forest. "RIONA! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

If she had even paused to think to investigate, the shadow by the bed had disappeared.

[I think we should pause now, so others can catch up.]

Crono stood there, not knowing what to say. He was just a mere rookie compared to the rest. ''W-wait. You can use telepathy too?!'' - Crono asked, in confusion. The stranger seemed even more similar to him.

Ateer physically felt himself shoved back when the weird entity in Riona's mind shoved him out. "There was something else in her mind, it said if we woke her now, she could die." Ateer turned to the boy from earlier. "Oh, yeah, it was the first thing I learned to do. It's a trait of phsycic types isn't it?"

"Well, the only thing we can really do is fight off the crazy Gijinka, find shelter, and take her there." Ateer turned to help Skye fight off the Gijinka but his powers were weakening, he's never fought for this long against so many enemies.

''I'm coming!'' - he followed Ateer, right into the battle. A Butterfree Gijinka sneaked up behind him, in order to spread poisonous powders. Somehow, Crono foresaw the Gijinka, and turned. He grabbed it with Telekinesis and threw it very far away from them, into the woods.
