This event has ended.

Pika Pika Pikachu!

A new mysterious event has started on PokéHeroes a few days ago and the mystery has already been solved by a few users. However, there are still many open questions and I'd like to answer them to you in this news post:

First of all, you can access this special Event by clicking on the Pikachu-symbol in your Userbar (). The given instructions are quite simple and clear: Make some interactions and collect Light Balls.
These Light Balls are obtained randomly when interacting with eggs and Pokémon. You need 20 L. Balls in total in order to unlock a new Event Rumble Area:

Yellow Forest

The Yellow Forest is unlocked after collecting 20 Light Balls.
This special Rumble Area can only be accessed by Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu.
You can't really find any spectacular items in this area - but it introduces a new feature for rumbling: Recruiting Pokémon.
This new small Rumble add-on allows you to adopt Pokémon & Eggs from Rumble Missions. While exploring an area, your Pokémon may find other Pokémon, make friends with them and recruit them in the hope that you are going to adopt it after the mission. However, the adoption is optional and can easily be handled when retrieving your rumbler.

Important: Keep an empty space in your party when you're trying to adopt an egg from a rumble mission. The page shows you a warning when your party is full - enough time to switch to your storage boxes and clear a party spot.
You don't need an empty party slot for hatched Pokémon.


Recruiting Eggs/Pokémon in the Yellow Forest:
So far you can only recruit hatched Pichu and Pikachu in the Yellow Forest. However, you may also find a rare Retro Egg.
The probability of finding a Retro Egg is very high during this Pika Event - but it will drastically decrease after the event has ended. It will still be possible to find Retro Eggs - but it takes much more time and rumbling effort. So be quick!

The Event ends on October 15th!!
After that, you will no longer be able to collect Light Balls - so make sure to clear this task before the event ends.
The Rumble Area will not disappear when the event is over. You can still use it afterwards, and it may be re-distributed in the future.

After that we'll have a huge Halloween Event, so stay excited :)

This idea was awesome Riako ^^. I hope for more of that kind of Events, because it's interesting to know wich Pokemon you could get on a Special Rumble Area (trying to get them all.. xD)

It was easy to get all Light Balls but it took me almost 3.100 interactions xD

Thx for the news about this big halloween event and guess what my birthday is on 23rd so yay big event

The only down side to this whole event is the fact that there were a ton of 502 errors when it was first released. Other than that, I absolutely adore it.

Being able to recruit others is also a neat addition, and I hope there will be more areas added where we can recruit other random Pokémon. (Like maybe Relicanth :p)

The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the fact that every single mission is 24 hours. There's no variant to it at all, and that's a little boring. I prefer the legend missions with being anywhere from under 24 hours to being up to three days before getting to the goal. Or the normal missions where you get to choose how long they are out for with varying chances at the items depending on the length.

But that's probably just me.

Love this event. I got the retro egg on the first run. I was so excited that I didn't realize I recruited and it would go in my party before the egg. The result ? The egg was lost.

I like it too. But I think it must be possible to Level up the area, send Pokemon there for the same long as the other Areas and is must be possible to get more than one item from it ^_^ but only if the area is open evertime and not only for an event.
For an event it is good as it is :)
And I like the idea of recruiting Pokemon while rumbling

I really hope you could be able to normally recruit after this event XD
You know, be able to recruit other Pokes on rumbles? Like..the rarer the poke the smaller the chance (idk which kinds will be obtainable that's up to you XD)

I can say that u can also send Satichu/evps. I just did.

yeah great idea cuz there is a small chance of getting a shiny pichu there ;)

I just sent my Raichu in, and the ONLY thing / pokemon it has found yet is the retro egg~ I am finally lucky!

Please also not that it's possible to get shiny Pikachu, which I managed to accomplish. :>

@pokenight - I think a shiny version of the retro pikachu doesn't exist... There's no 'Shiny version' visible (nor is there a spot for one)
