I like the idea of recruiting pokemon as long as there's a chance you'll recruit a rare pokemon or one that requires an evolution item to obtain. So Pikachu was good enough since you normally need a Soothe Bell to get it.

Where you don't want to adopt a Pokemon and untick the box yet I still ended up adopting them

You can put multiple rumbles there to increase your chances mostly for those retro eggs. :D .

Does this retro/retros are trade-able? & Can we send our pichu/pikachu/raichu to "Yellow Forest", as many times as we want to get retro/retros?

One of the times I sent my Pichu there, it came back with a Shiny Pichu :o I was pretty shocked.

Queen_Emolga: OMG lucky! I wonder if the chances of finding a shiny Pichu/Pikachu is higher with these to give people who already have a retro pikachu a reason to continue sending Pokemon out on those missions. :o

CatLady: That's actually not reall necessary. It's just useful because it tells you when you received a Light Ball.
After all you get a Light Ball after about 100-300 interactions.

I'll just chalk it up to coincidence, then :P

Personally, I can't wait for the Halloween event; the Pika-event is nice, but I already have a Retro Pikachu and I'm not really interested in shinies... The idea of recruiting on a rumble mission is pretty nice, though and I hope there are gonna be more areas like that :)

Thanks for your feedback and I hope you enjoyed this little surprise event :) Maybe we'll have a similar event in the future again.
And don't worry if you didn't get the chance to unlock the Yellow Forest - it will distributed again eventually.
