"That sure was agressive, coming from someone who's trying to make
friends," Fen snapped, padding after her, instantly regretting his
words. You're just as harsh as Yoru was, He internally
scolded himself. He ran up to midnight. "Sorry... that was harsh.
Look, I know you want friends, I heard you earlier. But the right
way to make friends isn't to run away, or to stretch the truth," He
explained kindly but bluntly.
Fen wasn't gonna give up. "You must be lonely," He empathised. "If
you keep shoving people away, you're not gonna be able to have
anyone to help hold you up," He explained. "It's not a thing to be
ashamed of, having others to support and to support you." Although
Fen could only remember fuzzy bits and pieces of his past, he knew
he was speaking from his own experience, somehow. "I'll leave you
alone now, but think about what I said." He trots away, tail waving
slowly, brushing the ground. Yoru and Noba were probably wondering
where he was. He approached the dark coloured house, and knocked to
make his presence known.
Midnight looked off to the side, bursting into tears as she ran
somewhere at this point. She was cold, and wanted a friend who
would understand her fully. She wants to live a good life as a
Pokemon, but it seemed that dream would be gone now.
Noba opened the door. When he saw it was Fen, he wagged his tail
happily. “You’re back! Here...Yoru’s got some rooms for us!” He
said happily as he stepped back for Fen to enter. The doorway was
small after all
Yami noticed a Fenikken in the corner of her eye. Oh? Was there
another one of the pokemon? That may be a wild guess, as it could
be any random fenikken, but it did look to be slightly confused as
well. Though, if it was one of her sister's newbies, then it
would be looking for her, right? It didn't seem to be looking for
something at the moment, so she turned back to her clients
Yoru smiles at Fen as she sees him at the door. "At last! How was
the town for you?" She suddenly felt the need for them to get
settled in before she started rambling on, as new questions were
springing into her head...
"Thanks," He tells Noba, agnowledgin him for opening the door. He
slipped through the little entrance, and into the house. "Wow," Fen
comments. "Thats a lot of rooms!" He thinks about his conversation
with Midnight. He was trying to be friendly... maybe he'd come off
to serious? Either way, he was frustrated that the Absol didn't
understand his simple motives. He brushed aside the thought. Fen
nodds at Yoru. "Hi Yoru! Thanks again for having us at your place,"
He thanks the Zorua. "Town was great! It's all layed out so nicely,
and it has a cozy feel... I like architecture, sorry."
Midnight let out a small sigh of sadness as she saw storm clouds.
She looked around for an area to protect her from the rain and
found none. She would have to sleep in the rain.
“We all have to like something, right? It makes us, after all.”
Noba smiled as he followed Fen inwards. He wondered what Fen got up
to while he was here...tidying a little. Just a little. That and
talking to Yoru
"Anyway, make yourselves at home until dinner time. I'll make
snacks so you can eat whenever you want." Yoru smiled, holding back
her questions, as she forced her paws into her kitchens and pointed
upstairs. "Pick a room from there." She called as she disappeared
behind the kitchen door.
Fen nodds once again at Yoru, thankfully. He wonders why Yoru had
such a large house, maybe she has a lot of friends over? He finds a
moderately sized room with a nice, cozy bed and Navy blankets,
claiming it as his own. He thinks about his day, and wonders how he
was turned into a pokemon. Some sort of pokemon magic, perhaps?
Noba took the one next door. He sighed and laid down. He felt kinda
bored but he was intrigued why he was brought here. For now, he
wasn’t interested in turning back human, or finding a way to turn
back. It was fun being a pokemon with powers. He started bouncing
on his bed, just to pass time. He was pretty light, so he thought
there shouldn’t be any consequences
Midnight felt a drop of rain on her head, just giving up. She
didn't want to be left there. She felt helpless, alone, confused,
and uncertain about everything. She wanted to be back home with her
friends and her mother and father. She knew it probably wasn't
gonna happen.
Fen nodded, wondering what to do. He wasn't partucularly hungry so
not snacks... suddenly, he got an idea. He was a pokemon... he
should make the most of it. He leaped off of the soft bed, and
thought. How would pokemon be able to use powers? Concentration? He
decided to start with something small. He held up his paw, a little
wobbly on 3 legs, and concentrated on what he wanted to do. It came
naturally; almost immediately, a dark brown rock appeared hovering
over it, startling Fen, who let out a surprised yelp. It had
worked!
Yoru busied herself with making some meat and cookie snacks. After
she was done, she wrapped them and foil and clearly labeled them
before settling into her own room, deciding to take a nap until
dinner. They'd wake her if they needed anything.
Noba eventually got bored and went over to Fen’s room. He didn’t
want to bother Yoru, especially not when she was probably busy. He
knocked on the door politely...well, he attempted to. It was a
pretty quiet ‘knock’
Midnight gazed at the building before her vision blurred, her world
turning dark as she fainted. Her body ached, her head hurt, her
throat too. She curled up for warmth before just allowing herself
to fall into a deep sleep.
