Catrina sighed. She knew no one would like to team up with her, she knew she would die. Catrina looked at the line. It was moving a decently slow pace, but to her it felt like a year.

Leaf has her arms crossed over hre chest in unease, yes she looked good, but god was she ever nervous. She loathed talking to crowds, it always made her feel sick. Harlow's comment made her blush a bit and she looked at Harlow. "You look beautiful too." Leaf couldn't stop her hands from shaking, her breaths were short and shallow.

"Ladies and gentlemen, our master of cerimonies: Caesar Flickermen!" From on stage the arudence burst into applause as a man who has hosted for over forty years stood up from his chair and adressed the crowd. He was wearing the same midnight blue suit with thousands of tiny elecitric bulbs dotted on it making it lok like starts in the night sky. His hairstyle too was the same as always, but dyed a diffrent color every year, this year was camo. It was errie how little he had changed from what must've been many, many surgeries to look younger and thinner. Caesar warmed up the crowd with a few jokes then it was show time.

The girl from One, Ruby she was called, smiled and waved to the crowd with a pep in her step. You could see the angle her mentor had gone for. Long and shiny flowing red hair, shapire blue eyes, tall and lush body. . .she was sexy all the way around.

There was some playful banter between the two. Something about Caesar saying something about how nice Ruby's outfit was and Ruby responding with how nice it felt, then him almost touching it before realizing what she meant, more laughs as she slapped his hand away playfuly calling him "Bad" or "Naughty boy" then they sat and the qustions came.

Ruby revealed that she felt very prepared for what ever go thrown at her. She trusted her knowledge. Her training. She even trusted her allies, to a certain extent anyway.

Ruby's angle, Blaze realized, was confedince, not arrigance.

After Ruby's three minutes were up a buzzer went off, and Ruby shortly after some parting words from Caesar.

Then Alice was called up after a brief introduction, calling her "Alice Angel" as the Capital's name for her apperently, before calling her name. She walked on stage with trembling legs, but she was determined to make herslef stand out. There was a hush as Alice made her way to Caeser, she was definatly a maigcal wisp of a tribute with her white dress and angel wings.

"So you're quick, your smart, and you can climb trees. Are you a gatherer? A scavenger? A hunter?" Ceaser promted gently.

"I know plants. Moma and I made a garden behind our house." Alice anwsered in a trebulous voice.

A murmer rippled through the crowd berifly.

"How about weapons? Are you good with a bow? A sword?"

"I can use a sling shot."

"How old you you Alice?"

"Twelve."

Blaze shut her eys and lightly shook her head, this wasn't fair on Alice, she had so much life ahead of her.

"Twelve years-old. . .such vast knowledge for a young lady. Now, you had a catch phrase you told me back stage, care to repeat it for the audeince?"

"If you cant see me you cant catch me, and if you can't catch me you can't count me out."

Aside from a few "aww"s, there was dead slicence. Caesar looked at the crowd. "Come on folks. . ." He gestured to her. "What do you think?"

The crowd responded with cheers and whistles of apporval and admireation of sorts. The buzzer went off.

He turned to Alice again with a gentle smile. "Well Alice, I think the other tributes are going to rue the day they crossed the Capital's Angel." There was some laughter. Caeser and Alice stood up and he held one of her hands up as the crowd cheered. "Let's give a big round of applose for Alice, from District One." After the appluse Alice walked back to behind the stage with everyone else.

Catrina reviewed her plan for her interview. "I'm not good at anything." she thought sadly. She heard the audience and sighed.

Alice made it back stage and was still in a bit of a daze she sat on the floor, grinning a bit.

From the stage they could hear Caesar introducing Mae.

Ryder walks on stage with a coy smile. He plops down on the chair, he rests his head against his closed fist. He seemed to be analyzing Caesar.

Tapping her chin, Kardia thought about her moves and smirked. She could display her fierce and vicious nature, it was sure to win over a few sponsors. It would be a piece of cake. Glancing over at Halcyon, she nudged the other girl with a teasing smile. "So whacha gonna do to woo the crowd, Valkyrie?" She asked easily, throwing in the first nickname she could think of. A warrior of death who selected the worthy slain seemed fitting of the image Halcyon projected to the world.

"Oh am I?" Ryder asks. He sits up now and leans forward so he can stare at Caesar. "I've been prepared my whole life. I am born and breed to kill. I am more than prepared for the arena" he answers

Harlow discreetly holds Leaf's shaking hand. She glances over at her and gives her an encouraging smile

Tempest glances around the line, she spots Shion and walks over to him. "I'm in" she tells him. "I'll join your team"

The crowd responded in a positive manner and Caeser nodded. "So, how about weapondry? Are you good with a Bow? A sword? An axe prehaps?"

He laughs at this. "I'm fine with anything I can get my hands on... Although-" his voice suddenly deepens. "I prefer a knife... It's much closer...much more purposeful" his voice takes on a lustful tone. He is sure the crowd would drink this up

Harlow frowns at this. "Don't be" she whispers. "They are going to love you. Just like I do"

Miko sighed as the interviews went on. What would she even say? She wasn’t good at much, and the things she was good at could easily be joked about. She listened to the other tributes talking, wondering if they would share their plan. She was quite interested to see how others would look at the situation.

"E-eh? Really?!" Shion startled, looking at Tempest with shock written all over his face. A giant smile bloomed over his face as he grabbed her hands in excitement. "Thank you so so so much! I promise I won't drag you down!" He kept his voice as quiet as he could though, not wanting to let the other tributes know that they had formed an alliance. "It'll just be me and you though... I don't think I can trust anyone else..." He mumbled as an afterthought..

Caesar looked at the crowd in shock and they broke into laughter at Caesar's response, they were enjoying the display he was putting on. He turned back to Ryder now. "Do you have a startigy on hand?"

"Easy, I'll just go on a rampage. Kill all that appose me" he glances behind him towards Blaze. "Starting with Blaze. Nobody scores higher than me and lives to tell the tale" he responds coldly.

Harlow smirks. "You heard me, I love you. Unfortunately it takes facing death for me to realize this" she turns around and holds her face in her palms. "If you are nervous, pretend you are trying to impress me rather than the crowd"

Tempest's face turns red. "Drag me down?" She squeaks. "I'm not that strong. If anything I'll be dragging you down by my useless survival skills." She looks around at the others. "I do agree, I don't trust anyone else either"
