((The guy just happens to be American, I doubt Mal meant anything
by it. He was merely describing a feature of a character so it
would be easier for you to visualize the written situation in your
own mind. Or something. Would you have reacted the same way if the
guy had a 'German accent' (or some other accent) instead? :]))
Randy rolled his eyes as the heads of the school made a show out of
entering the dining hall, the fancy introducions were just
cringeworthy. Once the sheets of papers manifested themselves in
front of him and the rest of the lot, Randy merely raised an
eyebrow at it. Even though his mother wouldn't be breathing down
his neck 24/7 anymore, it would be best for him to keep the good
grades either way. At least they were given some options when it
came to classes so that was a plus.
"Wow, that was so informative and a great use of our time that it
just blew me away," the lad commented sarcastically to no one
specifically after Barkridge and Morgan disappeared in the same
overly theatrical manner as they had appeared.
Marcus glanced down at the girl who had run into him with
annoyance.
"Maybe you should watch where you're going." He said, "and stop
stuttering. It's annoying." With that, he walked off. I need to
think about my class choices, somewhere where these people won't
bother me.
Angelica tapped her fingers on the table as she listened to the
adults. When it was over she quickly stood and hurried to her dorm.
"I hope I can meet my roommate soon." She stopped when she was in
front of her dorm room. "I hope she wasn't annoyed I could't speak
to her before the assembly..." She groaned. "Everything will be
alright!" She opened the door and looked inside. "Hello?" She
called out. "I guess she isn't here yet..." She stepped inside and
dropped her bag next to the unoccupied bed. "You can come out now,
Capt.Crunch." She giggled as her ferret poked his head out from
under her fedora.
Harmony held the paper in her hand that the headmistress had sent
towards each of them while Nyo slept peacefully on her shoulder.
She overheard a sarcastic comment from a boy standing near her and
responded, even thought it wasn't directed at her. "Oh no kidding,"
she said sarcastically, "Too bad they hadn't made the assembly even
long, there was just so much information that they totally couldn't
have just left in out dorm." She stood and slung her bag over her
shoulder, since she hadn't gotten a chance to go to her dorm room
yet.
Melanie sighed and stood up, kind of annoyed that she had come all
the way to the dining hall just for this. "Oh well, I'll figure all
of this out later," she mumbled to herself and shoved the paper
into her pocket. She pushed past the crowd of students that were
trying to make their way back to the dorm or to some other area and
figured this was a good chance to explore the campus and see what
type of places she could find. So she made her way out of the
building and glanced around at how the building looked from the
outside.
Kaetlynn all but runs out of the door, carrying her cat as she
practically sprints the way back to her dorm. It's awfully
irritating about how many people there are out there in the
assembly--there are plenty of people at this school.
Ryan had been reading the entire time the assembly had been going
on. Only the sudden loud chorus of noises manages to startle him
out of his reading, and immediately he leaves, spotting his
roommate telling off a girl who'd crashed into him. Not really
caring, he continues to head towards his dorm room.
Ethan didn't mind sitting through the assembly, it was nice to find
out about the school.
He watched as the paper materialised in front of him and every
other student, and quickly glanced through the class options. Ethan
already had a good idea about which classes he wanted to take on,
so it really wasn't a difficult decision. He pulled a pen out of
his pocket and began to write them down; Advanced Teleportaion Elemental Kinesis Potion Creating Spell Casting Problem Solving Study Hall
Ethan stood up, folded the paper and hastily made his way down to
the office. Once there, he slipped the paper into the dropoff
box.
Ethan began to think, I'm free for the rest of the day, but I
guess I should head back to my dorm to see if my roommate is
there.
When Ethan reached his dorm room, he opened the door, and yet
again, no roommate to be seen. Where is this moron? Ethan
thought. Ethan turned around to his side of the room, grabbed his
bag, and started to unpack his things.
Joanne gets up from the table with the completed form and turns it
into the dropbox. she sighs of relieve as she then heads to her
dorm in hopes of finishing the book she was reading."i really hope
these classes can help me with my powers" she said quietly.
Marcus finished up deciding courses as he leaned against a tree.
"This is good." He said out loud, getting up to turn the paper in.
Time to head back to the dorm. He thought. That Ryan kid
better not give me a problem.
Shay smiled and looked up at Spencer and Oliver. "What classes are
you two gonna take?" she asked the two while writing down "Human
Studies IV" at the top of her roster.
Spencer scratched his head with his pencil after doing the same as
his sister. "Well, I know I want to take Advanced Combat for sure.
Maybe Advanced Telekinesis to amplify my power?" he replied which
Shay gave a nod to while writing down Advanced Combat herself.
Spencer looked down at Shay's now completed roster then back at his
own unfinished one. "What about you, Oli?" he asked Oliver looking
down at his blank form.
Once he reaches his dorm, he pulls out paper and pen, scratching
down the courses he wishes to take; Magical Literature, Magic
History, Magical Creatures 101, Spellcasting, though me might not
take that one. Art is definitely a yes; his magic connects directly
to paper; Problem Solving sounds like fun, and Human World Studies.
While he might not be able to take all of them it's nice to have a
clean set of things on his list. Pulling off his shoes and pulling
the curtain closed, he picks up a flashlight and turns it on
pointing to return to his book.
Kauri winced, holding her notepad to her chest as she dashed down
the hall to the library. She slipped inside and closed the door
behind her, seeking refuge in a little nook behind the bookcases.
She sniffled, wiping forming tears from her eyes. She sat down
against the wall, calming down and pulling out the form she had
snatched from the assembly. She took a deep breath and began to
fill it out.
Bellatrix watched as the girl she had approached dashed off with
her cat. "How rude. I hope that not everyone here is antisocial. or
anything." She sighed and sat down, filling out her form with the
most interesting sounding classes.
Oliver continued to look through the list of classes. There were a
few that caught his eye, ones that were probably a good idea for
him to take if he wanted to get stronger. "Hm, Advanced Combat
sounds like a plan for sure and, uh, Mythical Creatures 101 sounds
like it'd help me a lot," the male commented, writing down the two
classes. Mythical Creatures 101 would really benefit his power.
Going through the list once more, he wrote down a few more classes,
one of them being Art. Art had always fascinated him, hence the
tattoos he had.
Spencer casually noted Art down on his own roster and sighed. "I'm
just gonna write a few down." he told before jotting down the
remaining classes.
"C'mon, let's go back to our dorm. I still have to help you unpack
plus I didn't finish myself. Shay'll take care of turning in our
rosters, right?" he said while handing his younger twin the sheet
of paper causing her to scowl. "Sure, go ahead." she answered in a
low voice as Spencer smiled and walked out of the dining hall.
"Just know he's sort of a handful." Shay warned while looking
erasing two classes on Spencer's roster and replacing it with ones
he wouldn't like. "That'll teach you to rely on me when you use
pencil..." she mumbled.
Joanne reads the book for a bit then sets up her other book on the
dresser attempting to use her telekinetic power to bring the book
to her. the book moves from the dresser, however it does not reach
her hand it hits her face."ugh will i even know how to use these
power ever?" she said as she opened up the book again to see what
she had done wrong.
Melanie lay back on the grass right in front of the school, holding
the sheet of paper above her face her face as she stared at it. She
rolled over, onto her stomach and reached for her backpack which
was nearby, pulling out her neon green pen and started to fill out
the sheet. "Combat.... potions.... problem solving," she mumbled as
she wrote down the classes that she wanted. She hummed and tapped
the pencil against the corner of her lip as she reviewed the
classes that she had noted down. "Eh, good enough," she said and
got up from the ground, brushing off the grass that was on her
clothes and walked towards the office. She ignored the doors as she
passed through them as she went to the drop box and dropped the
paper in. She yawned and walked out, deciding if she was already
tired enough for yawning, she would need to do something to wake
herself up.
The male let out a small laugh at Shay's "revenge" on her brother.
"Heh, sorry about this," he said to her, extending out his arm with
his filled-out sheet of paper in his hand towards her, "but would
you mind taking mine also? It seems I also have to run." He watched
as Spencer left the dining hall. After thanking her and leaving his
class paper with his roommate's sister, he quickly followed after
his roommate. It was finally time to finish settling in to his new
dorm.
Spencer entered the dorm with and scanned the small area before
kneeling beside his own bed to take out folded clothes from his
suitcases and placing them in drawers. He occasionally looked back
at the door to see if his roommate would enter any quicker.
Shay smirked and walked to the front office, placing the three
rosters in the dropbox and walking off without saying a word.
Joanne tries again to use her power to bring the book to her hand
but this time the spine of the book hits her nose as she lets out a
loud shriek of pain from her dorm."ow, i will never control them"
she said in tears as she threw the book off the bed.
The male soon made it back to his dorm and entered the room. There,
he found Spencer already finishing up his unpacking. His eyes made
their way back to where he had left his open suitcase. Just a
few more things to go, Oli thought as he made his way over to
his bedside.
"You seem to have gotten here quick," Oliver commented, without
lifting his head to look at Spencer as he spoke. He began pulling
the rest of the clothes out of his suitcase.
