But he still wishes he could help, certainly- but, perhaps he only thinks what’s beyond the veil is all there is. If it’s that way, then perhaps it’s something that they want, that can only be found within someone else…
Unlike within a dream, those in the real world are cruel and conflicting. Exactly like him, too. And yet, if he hasn’t locked himself away, does that mean he believes there’s still something he can still look for?
Really, they don’t much care about the others- but they still choose to pretend that they do.

Noa has short, fluffy light brown hair that reaches half-neck length, and long, slightly wavy bangs that curl upward slightly just above their eyes. They wear two halves of a heart hairclip- one half being light blue and the other a faded pink, as well as various hairpins. They have brilliant green eyes and fair skin, with a soft light pink tint on his face like a slight, weak blush.
Beneath a long mid-thigh length pure white coat with light blue highlights that they often leave unbuttoned, they wear a loose white shirt with a pastel lavender sailor tie. Along with that, they often lay a cream-colored shawl on top, as well as a small, fluffy white capelet without a hood.
They wear a pair of pastel pink shorts on top of fitted knee-length white pants as well, with calf-length slate blue socks and a pair of white boots with gold lace and gold-piece accents. Occasionally, they wear a pair of white fingerless gloves as well.

It could be said that they didn’t encounter much difficulty growing up- that might be why they only think of themselves, and not of others. From when they were a child, even, they’ve been lying, wondering, all to reach some sort of trifling advantage that they’d hoped existed.
Their mother, father, relatives, superiors- they’ve all given them nothing but praise and kindness. And he’d known, of course- he just never acted upon it. He thinks of it, certainly, wishing he could provide with gratitude in return- yet never making an attempt.
Of course, he’d been taught from a young age to always show kindness and charity, to give love and joy back when he takes it. And he makes an attempt- but it’s so easy to just skip one or two times, isn’t it?
No matter what he does, if he says some sweet words to cover it up, something good will come out of it. So he lives each day in a perfect fantasy, where “bad things” might as well not exist, and explores each night within a star-strewn dream. Countless people would do anything just to live out a day like he does, or even just a fraction of such a day-
Perhaps paradise is destined to produce people who are hollow inside, like them.
