"Why thank you, I take pride in my work." Bliss laughed, messing with Trixie's hair for a moment. "I'll take him back, I won't bother to transform. Everyone should be in class or in the cafeteria for lunch, anyway." She picked Ayran up and hoisted him over her shoulder, fixing her ponytail. "Are you coming with, or do you have other plans?"

"Mm... I promised I'd go meet up with my boring cousin. Said he had a letter from my brother."

She sighed, stretching. Her form flickered, hair tying itself into twintails, going a bright blonde color.

"Ah, I don't find it to be that impressive seeing how is very common with our kind but I'll take the compliment~! And of course i do, it's can be entertaining to have someone question the meaning behind every word you say to them, I tend to do it a lot more than I should myself because it's simply too much fun!" She calmly replies with a small laugh as she continued to watch, for once being glad that she wasn't feared for her ability to cause death, not that they knew and they would like to keep it that way to not make a potential genuine friend terrified of them.

Sleeping peacefully in her room as Sindey was unaware that there was someone out on the hunt for them, only continuing to be in their cold sleep while periodically kicking their legs as well sleep talking to themselves.

Ambrose takes a brief pause, looking at his work. The bottom part was done but... would it cover someone of her stature. He makes a few hand gestures, complete gibberish in sign language before starting to work on the waist. "So, who are you going to the ball with? I suppose someone of your background will have no issues finding a suitable partner?" He looks up, a gentle smile decorating his face. The mid-riff didn't need that much detail, he just had to make sure it was reinforced enough.


Adara shrugs and, direct as always, she points at Athena and herself. "I can give you some leftovers later, if Amby has any. As for dates... I guess Athena's just bored of the current line-up and I might scare people off. That suffice as an answer to you?"

The shuffling soon stopped while the humming remained. Eris carefully fanned the 22 Major Arcana cards and selected nine cards, face down, and placed them in different spots. Once the cards were placed in the symbol of Ankh, she closed the card fan and placed the remaining deck aside. Eris stopped humming and opened her eyes as the unfelt wind stopped. Though for some reason, the ninth card was placed horizontal at the bottom...

She soon spoke. "This is the Ankh Spread. This spread should lead us to an answer..." She trailed off before beginning the reveal. She flipped the first and second cards, which were The Hierophant upright and The Chariot upright. Eris spoke. "These two represent me and you respectively. The Hierophant upright represents conformity and morality while The Chariot upright represents willpower and focus."

Eris continued. Flipping the third, fourth, and fifth cards, which were The World reversed, The Sun reversed, and The Tower reversed respectively. This made Eris frown, before explaining. "The third card speaks of the early causes of what the subject is. The World reversed represents incompletion. Something is not fully fulfilled... The fourth card speaks of what caused the situation. The Sun reversed represents negativity and sorrow. Something happened that negatively affected the Ball. The fifth cards speaks of the perspective of the subject in question. The Tower reversed represents avoiding or delaying disaster. The one in control thinks they are doing what is best..."

Continuing, Eris flipped the sixth, seventh, and eighth cards, which were The Devil upright, The Moon reversed, and The Lovers upright. This made Eris blush a little, but she pushed it aside and spoke. "The sixth card speaks of reason of why it must. The Devil upright represents addiction and dependency. Something needs this to occur. The seventh card speaks of a possible clue to what will immediately come. The Moon reversed represents confusion and misinterpretation. Going forward we will be mislead a lot... The eighth cards speaks of surprise events along the path. The... Lovers upright represents partnership and unity. There will be shocking developments made as we move ahead."

Taking a breath, Eris flipped the final card, the horizontal one. It was Justice. Eris paused before speaking. "The ninth card speaks of the result, of what will come. Justice... Can either mean truth and karma or mean injustice and corruption. This means..... It will be up to the people to determine the result."

With that, Eris leaned back in her seat, taking a drink of her lemonade.

"I um... Actually don't, really haven't been actively seeking one, besides my partner would be in too much danger and I wasn't going to put them through that." Her tone drastically but noticeably changes when it came to talking about the ball as her tail came to a sudden halt, shortly crossing her legs in the more nervous toned then irritated tone, besides they couldn't be any less correct about them coming from a good background, with everything down to her behavior being a act to cover up mortifying details of their ture background. Scarlett feeling a sense of dread from the smile then positivity she would usually feel for something like that, causing her to give a smile of her own but there was something off about it, almost seeming force in a way than a natural pleasant smile she had on for most of the times so far, only hoping that they wouldn't mention anything about it even if it was easily noticeable.

"I'd rather wait than force myself to go with someone I don't like. And if they can't love Adara for all her might and ferocity, then they aren't good enough for her. After all, only the best for my best friends." Athena winced a little when Adara pulled her cheek, and momentarily lost control of her brush, causing a little line of colour down the side of Adara's face. Quickly, she tried smudging it away.

Astrophel searched the halls for Sydney yet could never locate her. “ Well it is to be expected I suppose. A sufficiently crafty rogue would have long ago concealed themselves.” Astrophel suddenly felt lost, they needed to occupy themselves with something otherwise the realization that they do not belong in these lands would crush them. They decided that it would be best to return to their room and perform some alchemical experiments to pass the time until the ball. Once within their quarters they opened their closet and retrieved several flasks, many strang substances, and a myriad of other items. They quickly busied themselves in their work and soon strange steam began whirling around them as they combined and then distilled the various substances.

"I can't argue with an explanation that good." Mona smiled, taking a step back. "When the curlers are done, then I'll fix it up some more for the both of you. Anyway, I believe it's your turn, Adara. Truth or dare?"

"Alright, since I already did the dare with Athena over here... truth this time. Same rules apply to me, can't weasel out with a dumb answer." Adara hits her own chest in pride, sounding quite powerful. Then, she takes a hand mirror and hands it to Athena, showing her the tribal colors and the five dots with lines on her head, forming a shooting star. "That's the symbol for 'visitor' where I come from. Also, Athena, how about this. If neither of us have a date until tomorrow noon... we're going to the ball together."

Ambrose nods. "I understand, you should not worry. It is just a ball after all, the chance that any of us will remember certain things below the threshold of... oh, I don't know, a mass kidnapping or a pig blood shower, is quite low. So you should just look forward to have as much fun as possible."

"Ooh, I like this one actually. Are you always so good at drawing shapes and symbols? Here, I'm done too." She handed the mirror to Adara, showing her her attempt at softening the moth's face and giving it an elegant look.

"Not really, I usually only do my own. My symbol means 'fortify' because I'm one of the first defenders." Adara blushes a little when she looks at the reflection, even flexing a bit to see. "Huh. That's how I'd look as a princess... kinda impressive. Hm, then let's do that... I'll keep the make-up until tomorrow noon and we meet. If neither of us have a date, we go out to the ball with each other."

"...Thanks, Kendo."

Trixie quietly took the letter from her older cousin's hands, watching him grin down at her.

"Trixie. Don't do anything crazy, okay? I know it's hard, but..."

Trixie scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Just go. Don't you have a girlfriend to find?"

"I know where she is. What have you been up to?"

"Nothing."

"Don't lie to me, kid. I just watched Bliss drag an unconscious Ayran back to his room. What did you do this time?"

Trixie looked away for a moment.

"Just go."

"We Don't hurt people, Trixie. That's not our family's MO. Chaos, sure, but not harm. Watch yourself."

Trixie rolled her eyes.

"Alright, whatever."

She watched as Kendo slipped out of existence, then ripped the letter open.

I, uh, It's been a while, huh? I've been on a trip, and I have a whole bunch of souvenirs for you! Isn't that cool? I'll be there just in time to watch you graduate! Wait up for me, alright, Kid? Ron’t get into any trouble. I love you.

Mona thought for a moment, sitting down on her bed. She glanced back at the door, knowing full well that Kendo had the only other key to get in besides her. "How is life back home for you? Do you like it? Or do you long for something more?"

Astrophel remained buried in their work. However the swirling mist suddenly became pitch black blocking out the light. They were caught off guard by the sudden change in light and began mutating. They struggled to contain themselves as they grew in size and began sprouting new limbs. However before they fully lost themselves they used all of their willpower to revert to normal managed to cork the flask producing the smoke, allowing light to once again pour in. Astrophel then took a second to recover before clearing away their alchemy equipment and then lying down on their bed contemplating their situation.

"Life back home?" Adara looks at the ceiling for a little, thinking. "Not too complicated. I wake up in the morning, apply my colors, then go out with the men to hunt. By the time the men and I return, preparations for food have already been going so we cook what we gathered and then we sleep. Sometimes, there are some things we need to do... entertain younglings, take care of visitors, help the women get to the nearer city for medical aid, that sort of thing, but otherwise, life is as simple as it gets." Adara laughs a little, shrugging. "It's a nice life and while I do sometimes long for an adventure outside the village lines or something, it's not like nobody is stopping me. After all... how do you think I ended up at this academy?" She tilts her head and smiles.

"Is that answer good enough for you, Mona?"

"Very much so. I really like it, maybe I should visit your village someday!" She smiled, her feet swaying back and forth while she sat on the bed.

"You'll be welcome. Though you'll get that exact face paint." Adara laughs and points at Athena. "Though with how noble and elite you are, I didn't expect you to be interested in my place. Back when I applied, it took the faculty some time to find my village... and even more to convince them we're not just cave people."

"I just love traveling. It's always interested me- the thought of being able to go places and learn about the cultures there." Mona smiled, turning to look out her window. "I want to travel with Kendo. I think it'd be nice to always learn something about the people of the world. I'm not sure if he wants the same, though."
