"Yeah, yeah. I swear, I swear. Don't be such a killjoy. I promise I'm not up to anything. Ona different note, did you know that coconuts actually kill more people a year than sharks? How high up do you reckon one has to be to knock someone out?"

He took a step back, hands still in his pockets.

Kalyteros goes back to his dorm. Apparently he just thanked him for the favor for one of his pranks. It's like Harry Potter. One teacher always resigned every year. But multiple. He looks at his time. "5:55?!?! I'm almost late!" After he said that. He embarrassingly closed his mouth at least all rooms are soundproof, which he didn't remembered till now. He's always forgetful but definitely not his lessons. He comes down to the cafeteria and looks at the menu. Souffle pancakes. "I don't like pancakes, also waffles so I don't have a side here" Cereal "Now soggy!" Blueberry yogurt " Hmm, that's a dessert. Who will eat a dessert in the MORNI-" Chips. " Need to be healthy here!" Elites Only: Chicken fingers and crinkle-cut fries " Is this Raising Cane's?"
"Aaah Perfect" Elites only: Club Sandwich. "Hello can I have a club sandwich with milk?" The cafeteria lady stared at Kalyteros "She thinks I'm childish" he said in his mind. It's not because he read her mind. Her expression just tells it all. It's the only good thing in the cafeteria. He sees Athena talking to Mona. But he knows he's not a gossip. He takes his meal and finishes it, while examining everyone on his sight.

Astrophel received their invitation to the ball and proceeded to make preparations for later in the day. Although they loved their battered blue cloak and scarf, they laid out a magnificent indigo robe with gold patterns emblazoned on it for the evening, one of the few luxuries Astrophel afforded themselves. For they had no taste for wealth or gold; they only cared about knowledge. After getting their evening clothes ready, Astrophel dressed themselves in their cloak, scarf, and of course, the plain black parasol that they always carried with them. As they got ready, they reflected on all that happened at the Academy. “I have toiled long simply to be relegated to the Gemstone class?” They thought with a hint of anger. “Though, I suppose it is a generous rank for myself, especially after what happened first year”. Having calmed themselves down and made themselves ready, they proceeded to make their way to the dining hall for breakfast and settled themselves into a chair in one of the more dimly lit areas as they treated themselves to a cup of tea and a modest platter of toast, jam, and fruit.

"Ooh, thank you so much! Yup, I got the Ball invitation as well. The edits were certainly... Flattering. Of course, I'm quite excited to attend actually! Do you have any idea what you're going to wear?" She went along with it, quietly observing Mona, judging if her reputation as a kind student really matched her, or if it was just one of those things some people spread to avoid bringing suspicion upon themselves. She concluded that Mona seemed to be a genuinely nice person.

Kendo managed to get a small laugh out of him.

"Ain't no way I'm telling you man,should've paid attention in class." As if he was one to talk about that but if it meant getting on his nerves even more,it was worth it. It was clear that Kendo's patience was starting to get paper thin,much like the letter he had torn up. Having told him about the importance of the ball,Leonidas turned and walked away hoping the last couple days in the academy would be rather peaceful and quiet. He was going to join the High Court no matter what!

He patrolled and wandered around the area a bit until he spotted two other students,one rather gorgeous blond student and a somewhat shorter,also blond,student near a trash can. "Hey! You two!" he exclaimed as he started approaching them.

Swishing there unnecessarily long tail but that was on par for their species as she laid in bed, Scarlett squeal to herself with excitement while holding up the invitation with both of her hands, shortly pulling the invitation to her chest as she eagerly kicked her legs up and down. "Today's the dayyy, I can't wait to get so much free stuff~!" She joyfully laugh to herself as she hastily jumped off the bed with her hoof letting out a soft click when hitting the ground, they didn't have to think what they wanted to wear, of course their favorite dress because why wouldn't they for such a special occasion?
When Scarlett did put on the dress as she wasted no time getting out the door, skipping with a jump in her step as she sing "going to the ball, going to the ball~!" to herself, but this did cause her to be in her own little world she began to walk past the other students in the hall.

Looking at the invitation with displeasure as Sydney had no motive to go to the ball itself, but thankfully there was a reason she would want to go in the first place, putting on their usual clothes while tying their torn up cape around her neck, never understanding the importance of looking glamorous or pretty in the first place. Going over to strap her crossbow and arrows without saying a word, but more importantly making sure to grab there book, slipping it in the satchel before putting their belt on with the dagger already in the respective pocket.
Unlocking there door as Sydney walk down the hallway having their right side being right up against the wall, intentionally drowning out all in everyone around her as she could care less about social interaction, not that anyone wanted to interact with her in the first place due to them being Shadow, which was a blessing in disguise to be honest sometimes.

Many of them could just be going for the Crown. Unfortunately, I don't really have anyone in mind right now." Such an interesting question. She was really enjoying Mona's company now, especially compared to a someone who insisted on being a general nuisance towards her. Also, maybe she should start considering partners. It would seem awfully unfit if she turned up solo to the Ball.

"Oh, trying on dresses together sounds lovely! I've never had too many girlfriends besides a diamond rank in another house, but we don't get to talk often. I really like the sound of that, would you like to meet me in my room later for it?" She giggled, a light, quiet sound, and took another sip of her tea. Athena was such a nice girl, they were like best friends already. "I'm surprised you haven't taken any offers, a lot of those boys seem very stubborn in getting you to go out with them."

"Me?" Mona turned away from Athena with a small smile, pulling on the fabric of her dress. "Interested isn't even the half of it. You could say we're already together, I'm just waiting for him to ask me to the ball like the charmer he is." The blush on her cheeks was evident, hardly hidden by her light hair.

"The Graduation Ball.... How......Intriguing~." Emika Tenshi-Smith held the invitation in her hand, a small grimace on her lips as her blue grey eyes scanned the page. Kendo, that menace... She'd been behaving for a while, so she hadn't tried to go after him despite his status as a menace. That didn't stop a girl from dreaming though. Folding the paper back up and slipping it into a pocket on her dress, Emika began to wander the halls of the school, watching the students and sneering if anyone looked at her for too long.



"The Graduation Ball.... By the stars...." Eris Everlast held the invitation delicately in her hand, golden eyes sparkling with hidden excitement. Ever since coming to this school, she had been an eager part of the happenings and events, especially when she became an Elite of Lavetiara. The Graduation Ball was special though. No one knew what could or would happen beforehand. It was a very big deal. She looked around, trying to gauge the feelings of those around her, only to be disappointed as most students tossed the papers. It made sense though, most just thought it would be a normal boring event or just didn't really care... With a mental note to put the invitation in her diary when she had the chance, Eris put the paper away and headed for the cafeteria, hungry and happy.

After finishing breakfast, Astrophel leisurely made their way back to their room. Once they arrived, they drew the curtains and turned off all of the lights. They knew the dangers that this posed to those around them, but since the ball would be held at night, Astrophel wanted to ensure that they had a strong grip on their powers even in total darkness. As the final light extinguished, Astrophel began to grow into a more monstrous form and emanate a dark haze from their very being. However, before they completely lost control, Astrophel exerted all of their mental power and reverted back to their normal self. Although it was difficult, they were able to keep themselves stable for a 30 minute meditation session. Once this exercise was complete, Astrophel opened the curtains and let light pour in, relieving their burden. After composing themselves, Astrophel made their way to the grounds of the Academy and sat under a large oak and began to read more literature from the Academy’s vast library in a final hope to find any explanation for the uniqueness of their powers.

After eating breakfast, Kalyteros decided to go to the library, because since he's seen nobody walking around in school, this is the perfect place to find someone. He then saw a black humanoid figure. "Wait is that-" he said in his mind. "Well" He thinks. "This is the only person I can talk to right now" "Oh, hi Astrophel" Kalyteros said.

Astrophel returned to the library a few hours later, unsatisfied with the books they had borrowed. Once there something caught their eye, an old, black tome simply titled The Beasts from the Sky. They recollected how the witches who raised them said that they had been found in a crater as an infant. Astrophel, having deduced that this meant that they had likely fallen from somewhere past the atmosphere, became more interested in the tome, hoping that it held the answers to the questions that troubled them for so long. Just as they were about to begin reading the tome, they heard a voice. They quickly placed the ancient book within the recessed of their cloak and turned around, seeing someone they were not too familiar with. "Ah, greetings," they replied to Kalyteros "May I trouble you for your name? Though I do wonder if you have more worthwhile endeavors to pursue," they said, allowing the faintest smile to pass their lips.

"Ah, well met Kalyteros," Astrophel replied. "I do find solace that a few students such as yourself have managed to forget somewhat the grievous damage done that night. As for this," Astrophel proceeded to retrieve the book from their cloak, "It is simply an interesting piece of ancient lore that I have had the good fortune to come upon". Looking to steer the conversation away from the subject of the tome, Astrophel brought up the ball that was set to happen within the coming hours."So, have you made adequate preparation for the grand celebration this evening?"

Kendo chuckled as Leonidas left.

"What a wonderfully quaint interaction."

He said to himself. He glanced around, before making his way to the dining hall. He searched the room, before his gaze landed on two girls sitting together. With a rather calm stride, he made his way over, sitting down, next to Athena. He grinned, ruffling Athena's hair affectionately.

"Sup, kiddo?"

He looked up from her.

"Hey, Mona."
Trixie looked away from Ayran with a barely noticeable sigh, but continued smiling.

"Hi! Leonidas, right? What is it?"

She beamed up at him with the most adorable smile she could muster.

Then she went back to focusing on Ayran.

"The prospect of a brightly lit hall, I admit, does not resonate with me much, yet I do not deny that I feel some form of anticipation for this event," Astrophel stated, answering Kalyteros' question. "I do appreciate the information you have given my regarding my reading, but I must be on my way now." Before leaving, something odd caught Astrophel's eye "My goodman, I have just noticed that you have a limp, do you require me to escort you to the infirmary?"
