Well, I'm Dragonstars, Dragon, Stars, or DS (I've gotten called them all) and my pronouns are she/her. I'm asexual, but I *think* I'm demiromantic. Not too sure though, I'm not super social and don't connect with a lot of people to find out for sure about the last part. I only think I am because two times a boy I was friends with for a long time I started to really like. Both of these were back in grade school, though, and I left that over a decade and a half ago... and given the age I was at, I really couldn't say if it was an actual crush or not. So that's just my best guess.

If you noted the "not super social" part, I'm trying to work on that; I've been trying to get myself to be at least a little bit more social. I'm not very good at it, hate small talk and things like that, but I'm trying, so I've been trying to check the forum a little more which is why I suddenly noticed this post and learned of this thread's existence but didn't know of it before. Figured it was a good place to at least say hi.

So... to catch up on the conversation, my favourite Pokemon is Latias with Silvally coming a very close second and Eevee not far behind, my favourite real animal is a bunny and if we can include the not- real ones, you can probably guess it but I like dragons. Pineapple on pizza is fine, but it's not my favourite; that would be a good, classic pepperoni and cheese.

I like to write and to knit; my knitting work has been, as of the last couple years, trying to create patterns for plushies of different Pokemon; I've got over 40 patterns worked out so far. My writing has also been a lot of Pokemon fanfiction, but I write about some other things, too. Pokemon is definitely the very top of my hobby list, though. Emerald was my first game and I was hooked from day one.

Sexuality was easy and straightforward: I <3 men (maybe not too straight huh), but discovering my gender identity was through gender dysphoria+euphoria. In the start it wasn't super obvious and I felt more like "Am I really trans?" but as time went by I couldn't ignore the signs, it just became too obvious to question it at all. I think what confirmed it the most is when I started actually trying to use masculine pronouns and it hit me like a truck just how much more comfortable I felt with that.
Gender dysphoria and euphoria still hit me hard, both positively and negatively and I feel them very strongly, but it has been easier to manage since I started allowing me to just be myself at least every once in a while

Im the gayest asexual you will ever know, like have you seen women? Jokes aside im probably somewhat more demiromantic, because so far there is this one person.

Anyway in terms of Gender: eh idk, its definitely not masc. I would just do the thing my fav character has and put "unknown" as my gender; but instead i just say nonbinary because thats mostly correct anyway.

I mostly found out by accidentally stumbling about r/egg_irl, looking at it, closing it, never looking back, until i did look back and well here i am now. There were signs before, like me thinking "hey being [gender] sounds cool and fun, i want that", which i now know MEANS THAT YOU PROBABLY ARE [gender].

half the country still would consider me a messiah simply for my orientation, and I live in such a state.

if you live in such a state, don't worry about it, you may be mocked, but in the end, you will outlive them, because that is the best triumph, and although the federal government has been put under the red team, that just means they'll let the states decide on it, rather than force the issue, so if you don't live in a state like mine, there's still places you can go, if you can manage it logistically......it may take some time, but have faith that you can.
