will the retro egg the daycare man gives me break my chain? also, is it limited?

this is arkoos (name inspired by MANDJTV), who i use for legendary rumble maps

and this is my shiny furret which i cherish

According to the wiki..

You will able to adopt that "Retro Egg" after every 500 eggs you adopted from the "Daycare".

Hatching any kind of Retro Eggs will NOT count towards your Shiny Chain.

I won the "Event Spriting Contest" as it says on News Announcement #224.

Any eggs that has its own chain wont break your egg.

In this case, retro eggs have a 1/20 chance shiny. Thats their own chain coz you cant chain retros

@aliensnowflake - as far as i know, MOST retro shiny chance is 1/50 or 2%, mich lower than 1/20.

Edit: Yep, its 1/50.
