So it seems out of sheer luck I managed to get myself a Scyther that's able to mega evolve from the bug hatching contest. I bought myself a metal coat so I could at least evolve it into a Scizor, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to actually mega evolve it before the contest ends. I haven't had any mega-able pokemon before, so I hadn't concerned myself with leveling up the cauldron too much until now. It can still only make the first four evolution stones, and I'm starting to doubt I have enough gems (an assortment of 165 in total) to even unlock the ability to make the mega stone, let alone actually make one. I'm willing to grind emera mall to send out plushies and any other gem hunting methods if it's feasible, but if not I don't wanna waste my efforts too much. Thoughts??

So right as I posted this my last evolution stone finished boiling and I unlocked the sun and moon stone lmao

I know a lot of people prefer getting the item themselves for a sense of accomplishment, so I'm offering. I wouldn't mind spending my money, plus I'm not asking for anything in return. I just like helping users.

Yeah! I have no need for pd, I have everything I already need, and if I keep all my pd then I'll end up spending it on something useless. I'll purchase one and send it to you via gifts!

I don’t believe that mega-evolving actually increases the rating points by a large amount. Yes, normal evolution increases the rating greatly, but mega evolution doesn’t, for some reason. (Probably because it’s too expensive for many users, and would give an unfair advantage to rich users.) But I’m not exactly certain, so someone just confirm please xD

(But if you want to mega evolve it because it’s your first one, then it may be personally worth it for you. So it’s your choice ^^)

Mega evolving actually does increase the points by 5 or 10!
