It was finally time. With an annoyed huff, Dakota lifts herself off
the bed and strolls out of the inn, moving towards a somewhat
secluded area. It surprised Dakota that there wasn't a lot of
people nearby. After all, she had a clear view of the Great Tree
just ahead. She would imagine a sight such as this would make the
shops in this area more popular. She stares at it, not even
realizing that a man had approached her until he placed a hand onto
her shoulder.
She reacts by instinct, grabbing his hand and twisting it
painfully. He shouts out and fails to wiggle his hand free. When
she recognizes the face, she releases him and watches him rub his
wrist through the corner of her eye.
"Let's make this quick" Dakota says while showing him both the
dagger and false eye. The man pales, which sends a wave of
frustration through her. Had he really expected her to fail?
Fortunately, he listens to her. He hands her her own bag, which'll
be filled with her promised earnings before strolling away.
Dakota remains in her place, her head lowered slightly. She sighs
and rests her head back against the wall. She was free. For a few
months at least- it would be more, but she wasn't the best at
saving money.
Instead of returning to the inn, she watches a strange group of
people head towards the Great Tree. She frowns. They certainly
seem like an odd group she thinks to herself while gazing at
the one who was leading the charge. Fortunately for him, she
doesn't step out of her spot to question them. Still, her gaze
never leaves the passerbys.
Willow smiled and pushed a few buttons. The room Kendo was in had
become so quiet, one could hear the blood running through their
veins. She was speaking, but had muted the microphone.

Andrea swiftly matches Azazel’s quickened pace, taking longer
strides to compensate for her shorter height. Since Azazel seemed
to be taking charge, she leaned down, her hood covering her mouth,
as she whispered, so only Peter and Azazel could hear. “There’s a
girl watching us. I doubt she’s friendly. She doesn’t seem like
Wildana’s folk either.”
Peter raised an eyebrow. "A girl? What do we do about her? Do we
wave orrrr, y'know." He drew his finger across his neck. "Honestly,
lets just leave her be." When he saw the tree, he wasn't surprised.
Though he could feel a bit of anger boiling in his skin.
Azazel said nothing. He put his finger to his lip as they
approached the main city area of Wildana, where it seemed many
guards were on the lookout. The kingdom seemed to already be on
alert after what happened st the border, calling in many troops to
the great city.
He grumbled at the guards, looking to Andrea and then to Azazel for
any ideas. Maybe they could sneak by, but there'd be big chance
that people would spot them. Attack? Effective but would definitely
draw attention.
"Iteral, let me see your wounds. I don't have much to help but I do
have a balm to at least numb the pain." Yue repositioned himself so
he would be facing Iteral, taking a container the size of his
finger out of his pants pocket.
"Apologies, but we can't do that. We have strict orders from our
leader, and we aren't the kind to disobey so easily." She turned
the suppression decibel up, making it impossibly quieter.

Lean sighs, nodding and using her broom again, this time they just
float over the ground at a moderate speed, leaving everyone to sit
normally and move around ever so slightly. The planner reveals some
abrasions and cuts on her torn clothing, mostly on her back and the
left side of her body. "... I could've done better but hey, at
least I'm still alive. Let's hope Miss Selaphiel is alright too."
You know the first rule in combat?
shoot them before they shoot you.
Yue opened the bottle and started with Iteral's back. He rubbed the
balm on the wounds gently, careful to not startle her. From where
the balm touched, a cold feeling seeped into Iteral's skin, numbing
the pain a bit.
"Coooooooold!" Lean flinches, moving her back forward at the touch
of both the balm or Yue's hand on her back. "H-Hold on..." She
takes off her coat and pulls up her shirt a bit, exposing her back.
"T-This is... interesting. The last person who treated me was back
at the castle, when I was awake for three days and tripped down the
stairs." She scratches her chin a little, blushing from the
treatment.

shoot them before they shoot you.
"Ah! Sorry-" Yue withdrew his hand for a while before continuing,
more cautiously this time. "That stairs? That's quite a fall. I
hope you're not allergic to snakes, by the way. The balm is made
out of snake scales."
"I mean, if I was, I could not embrace that slithering mass of
sweetness." Lean chuckles, pointing over at Caspian. "Heh. Just
don't mention the snake thing too loud... last thing I want is him
to be afraid of you because you might use his scales for balm." She
looks up at the sky, thinking about if snakes could smell other
snakes and how they react...
You know the first rule in combat?
shoot them before they shoot you.
"Wah! Oh no no no, we don't harm the Marble typhlops! That would be
taboo. They're relatively small snakes so when their scales get too
big we have to pick them off." Yue finished with Iteral's back, now
going to her left arm.
Lean adjusts her clothing to expose whatever part was necessary for
Yue. "So you harvest them whenever their scales get too big for
their own good? Makes you wonder how they do it naturally... oh,
sorry, sorry. When I first started in Wildana, I took myself the
liberty of studying nature and snake anatomy... to both understand
the kingdom and Caspian better."
You know the first rule in combat?
shoot them before they shoot you.
Caspian, since Iteral was getting treated, was on a small nearby
rock. He was reading a book on astronomy again, although not the
one Iteral got him recently, since it would be too big to take on
the trip across kingdoms to free the Saint Deity.
