gearborne - roleplay
Forum-Index → Roleplay → gearborne - roleplayTheo sighed. "Just ignore them, no need to provoke them." He muttered, looking down at the mechanical bug in his hands, mumbling some stuff to himself. "...useful for storing information...and for light..."
"So sorry. Barley has a violent tendency when I'm angry...and I'm not a god damn cat. I'm more human than anything. I can keep going on about all the things that I do that cats don't, and the things I don't want to do that cat's do."
Amber snarled, plopping Barley down next to Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw quickly trotted over to Kendo and weaved around his legs, mewing. Barley was hissing at the people still while Amber tried to calm down Barley, growling.
"...woah, woah, woah." A guy stood between the group and Kendo, crossing his arms. "Don't shoot that thing in here." He said to Kendo, then turned to the group. "Marceline, Elijah, Nehemiah. Stop making fun of the others just because you feel bad about yourself."
Marceline, tall girl with blonde hair and a classy steampunk outfit, was about to retaliate but grumbled instead and turned back to her friends. "...party pooper."
"I heard that."
Theo snickered, watching the chaos unfold. It's hilarious.
Amber retorted to the group, Barley no longer hissing. Ravenpaw was now sniffing at the person between the group and Kendo, getting on his hind legs to paw at the man's pocket curiously. Amber turned to look Kendo, anger no longer burning in her eyes. She forced no emotions to pass through her expression, but a smile cracked on her face as she watched Ravenpaw curiously sniff at the new person's pocket, and then weaved around the group, all while meowing.
"Whaaat? Ivan, we want adventure! Excitement!"
"Not after that, no. You'll have to watch over your Island and someone elses." Ivan said, trying to make himself seem taller to intimidate the three.
The guy snatched his wallet back, a little aggressively, and shooed Amber away.
Theo was just quietly messing with some machinery he had found. He wasn't paying attention to anyone anymore, and decided to put more attention into the machinery. He liked messing around with stuff, it was fun.
"So...what are we supposed to do here?"
"Eh, you're fine. They just like bullying people." Ivan said, glaring back at the group.
Theo was still fiddling with the piece of definitely not stolen machinery. When would someone notice it wasn't where it was supposed to be? Who knows. Theo just needed something to do.
As you may have just witnessed, Aetherhaven has plummeted. This is our first island ever falling, so I assume there has been a panic throughout the Island you've been left to manage, no? Well, it's all being taken care of! Half of you Half-Geniuses will stay behind and manage the Islands, and the other half will have to find whoever did this. You may converse amongst yourselves at the base in Gearwatch. We hope you'll accept this task for the sake of Gearborne, as we do not need any more lives lost."
I bid you farewell and good luck!
This was a message given to a single being on a vast and garden of an island. Wildden was covered in plants of all kinds, ranging in purposes and properties of plants and vegetation as well. Amid this space nature claimed land, stood an entity that stood out. This was for many reasons. The entity was the sole human on the island. They were humanoid but covered in metal parts. This was the Cyborg Caretaker, Error.
Listening to the message received, Error tilted her head. "Half-Genius... Gearwatch... go..." Her voice was mechanical, clipped together of different voices put into a line. And go she would...
She arrived to the base in a short amount of time. It seemed she was one of the last to arrive however, as she had stopped to gather possible necessities before her arrival...
Ivan stared at the leopard...before giving a small thumbs up. "As long as it doesn't eat anyone...it's fine."
