*Suddenly Maya realized something and stopped.* Hey guys- *Ayran looked back towards Maya and stopped, but Kaori kept walking for a bit until they also stopped and huffed* Where's Kendo?

"I can sense it. They're coming over this way, right now. They're gonna drag me off to patrol..."
He kept an eye on the glass door. Hopefully, they would just pass by the empty, desolate bar, and he would get a few more hours of sleep.

He trailed off, yes they indeed at a situation where they could die at any moment. Those that we too kind, were the ones that died first.
Those who were weak and couldn't hide themself were next.
In the world that they were now, they could only be selfish and try to save themself first, and care about others second. The only way to protect others, is when you become stronger.
Ayran looked at the townspeople, the town that used to be bright and lively, is now run down and burnt. People are now struggling to survive, and could barely fill their stomach each day.
If only the war could end soon, Ayran clenched his fist.
Then, could they finally be in peace, and safe again.

Kaori pointed to the shack, and said, "He's in there, just waiting for us to barge inside and drag him off to patrol.
Marching over to the bar and dragging Maya and Ayran by their ears, she went inside, and looked around for Kendo.

"Hello, Kaori. Hello, Ayran. Hello, Maya. The three musketeers are here to drag off a poor, hungover man to patrol again, eh?"
He looked up, his blue eyes twinkling, his tone light and teasing.
"Don't you have anything better to do than bother a man such as I?"

He ran a hand through his golden-brown hair, tying it up into a tight ponytail. He picked up his glasses, cleaning them with a rag. He chuckled light-heartedly.

She watched as a girl pulled a drunk man by his ear out of the bar and smiled to herself, shaking her head. At least some people could still find some amusement in this place.
She kept walking.

*As Kendo spoke towards Maya, Maya snapped out of her own head and yelled* Hey! Thats enough from both of you! *Maya walked in between them and started speaking in a stern voice towards Kaori first* We need all the help we can get if we want to win this war so back off of him- *Maya then rapidly turned her head towards Kendo who had a small smirk on his face* And you know better then to stay in here all night, understood?

He laughed. There's something hollow about it. His blue eyes twinkle, his mouth set in a grin.

He was a step behind Kaori, by the dock waiting for the boat.
But for some reason... It wasn't here yet.
"...It seems like it's late"
Right away, he thought about the worst possible situation, the boat was attacked, attacked without any signals from the enemy kingdom, and the people on the ship were killed before they could send any signals, he couldn't help it, it was just a habit of his to overthink.
But, worry filled his mind, was it a coincident that the horn sounded, and the ship was late?
He shook his head, trying to shake away the negative thoughts to no avail. Instead he clenched his dual scimitars tighter, no matter what extreme situation happens, the best he could do is preserve his life.

But she took her mind off of waiting for the others, and just focused on checking her sword. Making sure that it was well polished.
But it still didn't yet. And waiting for the boat was doing no good. Pulling out her illegal boating license, she smiled wickedly, and turned towards Aryan. "Ready for a boat ride?" she said, with an evil glint in her eye.

*As Kendo nodded his head, Maya backed up and ran through the door back to the outside world. She looked towards her left and saw both Kaori and Ayran talking at the corner of the building. She let out a small whistle to get their attention and then began to start walking towards the assignment station*

"...It seems like we have to go to the AS..." Ayran sighs, he really wished their break could last just a little longer, but it seemed like they had assignment to do. He really doesn't want to know what their assignment was that they had to call blow the horn, but it seemed extremely urgent.
He can't help but have a bad feeling about this.
He quickly nodded at Maya, signalling to her that they understood her message, before turning his head to Kaori, signaling to her that they should go now.
"C'mon... Assignments calls."

Soon they arrived at the Assignments Station, where many others were already there it seemed. Ayran looked around for a empty space to stand while waiting for the others, and soon found one in the corner.
He leaned against the walls, and rested his eyes, trying just to gain a bit more rest, before the storm comes after this calm.

*Maya sighed and lifted her hand to her face to pinch the bridge of her nose as she shook her head.* Kendo is on his way Marius, and beside they're all late because of me. *Maya looked at Kaori and Aryan* They were going to be here on time but decided it was best to let the rest of their group catch up so the fault is mine, not theirs.
*Marius looked up from his paper slightly and took a deep breath in before shifting his eyes toward Kaori and Ayran.* You two may go and wait with the others for Commander Lucas. *Maya stood firm.and watched as Marius' attention shifted towards her* Show up late or make others show up late to their shift again, I will be forced to move you to the south wall. Understood? *He looked up towards Maya and ripped the paper to give to Maya. She gave him a slightly dirty look before snatching the paper from him and turning around to go to her post.*
