Jackie noticed Kaden also laugh at Mei's explosion and smiled with a small giggle.
"Ohmygodthat'shilarious-"
"I know, right? The funny part is, someone was even talking about the possibility of one of the potions exploding too, what a coincidence!" Jackie said.
She watched as Dr. Grimm helped some of the students that had trouble and congratulated the students that were successful with their concoction. Jackie sighed a little. She didn't bother to finish her...whatever-it-was-she-was-doing potion.
Currently
Although Jackie couldn't care less about the success and troubles with the potions of the students, one did catch her eye once Kaden started to laugh about it..
"And look at Idris' one too, BAHAH-"
"Huh? Where?" Jackie said, pulling out a water bottle and beginning to drink it until she saw it. The words spelled out in front of the emo boy. "D U M B A * *." Jackie covered her mouth, preventing herself from spiting her water out in laughter. She carefully swallowed her water...
And began to burst out laughing.

Upon completing the potion, and the summoning of the skeletons, Emika lifted her head when she heard laughter. Looking around she noticed the slightly cloudy letters spelling..... Her eyes widened. How vulgar!
Marina was happily stirring her cauldron's contents when she heard and saw Jackie start laughing. She got curious and tried to look around... (Protect the innocent undead baby!)
Eris had completed her potion. When she heard laughing she got nervous. Had she done something??? She hesitantly looked around, and spotted the cloud letters in front of another student. It said..... Oh my!

She wiped her tears and managed to calm her giggles when she suddenly froze at the sight of Marina trying to see what the commotion was all about.
Jackie quickly grabbed her step-sister and turned her around and away from the words above the potion. "I know curiosity gets the best of you, but this is something you can't see."
"H-How about you just continue to work on your potion, hm? Just uh, don't turn around." Jackie laughed nervously.
Marina was wayy to innocent and curious, so seeing the failure of emo boy's potion with that flabbergasting no-no word would probably not be good.

Marina blinked in surprise, before smiling. "If you say so, Jackie!" She said bubblily. She focused back on her cauldron, thankfully now forgetting about the slight commotion. Crisis averted.

Great, now everyone noticed. They were all looking, how fun.
He ran his hands along his legs nervously.
He hoped that this lesson would be quiet, it was anything but.
He closed his eyes and sighed, opening them to resume whatever he was doing with his potion.
Idris' eyes darted around the classroom, glaring at everyone.
He hated every single person in this room.
Apart from the floating insults in his potion, he was satisfied. The potion turned out....well...in his opinion.
Hopefully nothing ruined it..
Kaden Sorrows
He snorted once more.
"Funny as hell...but I kinda feel bad for the guy, y'know...?" He sounded serious for a moment and then- "...what if he was born emo? You can't make fun of that, then. Poor guy can't help it.."
"So sad..."
Kaden grinned wickedly.

"Oh for Christ's sake- Not funny."
Mei turned her eyes towards him with a challenging glare and a devious grin, then chuckled mischievously before turning away. "Aww, boo hoo~" She said simply as she giggled.
"You're the only one bein' a downer~"
She looked over at Jackie and Kaden, sticking her tongue out at the former upon receiving that criminal side eye, then turning back to her mess of a cauldron. Mei stared at it with a grin on her face, trying to keep herself from bursting into laughter once again. Of course, she was struggling to do so upon seeing those demonic fish flopping around like idiots in the bottom of the abyss. Oh how fun her little "friend" was, albeit a jerk at times.
She looked over at Jackie once again as she began to burst out, finally cracking herself. She leaned over her cauldron and doubled over laughing, struggling to breathe as she just kept on laughing. Too bad one of the fish's tails suddenly slapped her across the face once it had somehow flailed enough to reach her, all before disappearing once hitting the bottom, leaving nothing behind. She would've laughed even more, but she was growing tired and strangely bored, so she caught her breath and straightened herself back up.
Oh, class seemed to have ended. Hm... Well, she didn't have anything else to work with, so no more explosions for her I guess, and she was starting to grow bored of these people anyways. Sure, as fun as it was, she'd rather have better stuff to do.
...And while it wasn't exactly "better", due to "popular" demand, she shall now mess with Idris once again because man I love writing her out of character.
She looked over at the emo once again, placing her hands behind her head as she lightly stretched and grinned. Her eyes fell upon his cauldron as another idea formed. Admittedly, one she immediately regretted and kind of dreaded, but she figured "screw it, why not", as per usual.
Her feet picked up as her hands fell to her sides, then cradled each other behind her back innocently as she made her way over. Her smile was obviously devious in nature, but she was giving a concerningly good innocent smile.
"Awww... Debbie downer much? What a shame, how could anyone be so cruel to an innocent classmate who's just trying to mind his business! I wonder who could do such a thing!"
She giggled as she walked up behind him, standing off to the side as she looked into his cauldron as well. The letters had gone away by now, only leaving something that looked like a poor attempt of black tie-dye.
...Not for long though, soon enough after Mei's arrival, the swirls began to clump together and formed something that looked like a fist, with a weird handle looking thing off to the side. Slowly, the handle began to move in a circle as one of the fingers from the fist slowly raised up until it was a full-fledged middle finger, to which Mei gave a dramatic gasp to as she giggled. Not long after, the hand seemed to just... Spontaneously combust, making a mess out of Idris's potion. Albeit, the concoction wasn't ruined, but at this point it might as well be.

Aoi began to clean up the materials, completely ignoring the commotion behind him as he looked at his and Kitty's brew, feeling slightly proud of the duo. It turned out better than he'd thought, and he was honestly just grateful that they weren't being messed with.
"That was... fun." He said simply, looking in Kitty's direction.

Jackie raised an eyebrow at Kaden's tone. He wasn't being serious, was he? Did he acually feel bad for the dollar tree emo?

He just wished he was invisible, so he could mope in peace.
So? Who cares if he was down all the time? He had his reasons.
Yet idiots like Mei wouldn't leave him alone.
He hissed, grabbing his satchel and sweeping out of the room, one hand flipping Mei off.
He slammed the door shut, and the room shook a little.

Mei watched Idris as he left, not moving until much after he slammed the door, all while blinking rapidly. Hard enough to shake the room... Damn. As much as she hated to admit it, she felt a little bad, but not bad enough to stop being a jerk about it. In all honesty, the guilt was really only quickening the rate her boredom grew.
She then turned to Jackie and Kaden, putting on an innocent "confused" look. "Awww, did we do somethin' wroooong?" She then giggled a bit before being interrupted by the intercom.
"ALL STUDENTS! THIS IS THE END OF FIRST CLASS, PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO YOUR DORMS FOR SOME FREE TIME. STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO VISIT EACH OTHER'S DORMS IN THE DAY."
...Oh great.
"Daaaaaamnnn, guess that's it, huh?" She said with an exaggerated pout, letting her head fall slightly behind her as she stuffed her hands in her pockets while she moved towards the door, giving a big wave with her signature grin to the class as she left. "Cya 'round scumbags!" She exclaimed before turning on her heel and walking out the door.
She wasn't too behind Idris, she could still see his edgy emo-ness radiating from the other end of the hallway. She couldn't be bothered to catch up to him in all honesty, Mei kind of just wanted to stay behind and leave him alone for a bit, a nice quiet break at her dorm sounded nice as well.
...Even if she had to deal with that guy's edginess infecting her room somehow.
She stuffed her hands in her pockets and sighed, not making another sound as her light footsteps carried her through the quiet hallway while she journeyed to her dorm.
The little bird of darkness in her ear was being awfully quiet right now.

Oh... Well, guess it was time to dismiss. Aoi let out a sigh and grabbed his things, not daring to look at the rest of the class. The door slamming from that one guy everyone was picking on shook him up a bit, but Aoi did his best not to show it. Sure, he might've jumped tremendously, but at least he did nothing else, right?
Oh well.
Guess it was time to leave. He waved a goodbye to Kitty then made his way out the door, then headed to his dorm. Taking a break from the noise might be nice.

Emika quickly gathered her materials and headed out. She headed to her dorm room, avoiding other students for the time being. She hoped to make friends in the future, but not so soon... Maybe...
Marina was surprised that class was already over. "Wowie! Time flies when you're having fun!" She giggled happily.
Eris flinched at the sound of the bell and the announcement. She quickly finished her potion, corking it alongside a bottle of it for herself for later study. She was interested in it...

She could already see how more and more pissed off Idris was getting, not wanting to deal with this classroom and the silliness of it.
Jackie saw the emo boy get up from his desk and leave, as one hand flipped Mei off. "Damnn! Me personally...I wouldn't really let that slide." Jackie shrugged with a smile.
She slightly flinched at the loudness of the slammed door, and even felt the room shake a little. "Strong ahh boy." Jackie mumbled. Guess that was proof that Idris was not having it on the first day.
"...uh. I guess that's the end of class...then..."
"Finally! This class was kinda boring anyways. I felt like I was growing gray hairs. But luckily there was some entertainment.." Jackie sighed.
Then the PA system went off.
"ALL STUDENTS! THIS IS THE END OF FIRST CLASS, PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY TO YOUR DORMS FOR SOME FREE TIME. STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO VISIT EACH OTHER'S DORMS IN THE DAY."
"Hell yeah!" Jackie grinned, immediately grabbing her belongings, and of course her manga, and rushed out the class as she waved to Kaden happily. Not interacting with the other students, but also waving to her step-sister, she went to her dorm and sighed in relief.
"Now I can acually be at peace.." Jackie smiled a little and laid on her bed and began to continue reading her manga.

"I...." Her ears twitched at the sound of the bell. "Oh."
She looked at Aoi, struggling to find words. Had the class really gone by that fast? But Aoi was right, it was kinda fun, even though she spent a good portion trying to ignore the others. At least nothing exploded.
"Yeah, it was." She smiled at him, then started to leave. She hadn't seen her dorm yet, what would it look like?

He marched down hallways, eyes full of spite and hate.
Idris walked into his dorm, knocking over several pillows and books in a fit of anger.
He opened the door to his room and sat down cross-legged.
He had scissors in one hand, and got up to stare at himself in the mirror.
"I hear mop-head draws. Maybe he draws his future emo girl-"
"Pfft, hahaha! I bet he's dreaming of her too, look at how long he's been asleep now!"
"Pffftt, definitely needs a haircut..."
"Uhm, us high? Honey, are you high?? You've been knocked out for so long you missed out on almost this entire class, not to mention how crusty you look. Did you smoke before you got here? Babe, you look like you're on drugs. And don't get me started on how your fit looks right now. You look like a dollar-tree emo boy. And yes, you've probably been knocked put thinking about your little emo girl in your head. So, before you say something, please look in a mirror and get yourself checked. Thank youuu~!"

He stared at the scissors in his hands.
Idris wanted so desperately to be invisible and ignored.
Maybe if he didn't look so 'emo' as everyone said they'd leave him alone.
He glanced in the mirror and lifted the scissors to his head-

"Aren't we dorm mates? We can walk together!"
She grinned, revealing several sharp fangs. "Sounds great! You seem like a nice person, better than the rest of these weirdos anyways-" Lin whispered, gesturing to Mei.
Kaden and Keiki are already in their dorms.

Mei arrived at the shared dorm shortly after Idris, the faint sound of things being thrown around, admittedly, didn't make her all that enthusiastic about coming any closer.
Teasing around wasn't all that fun when someone ended up in a fit of rage, that's for sure. It got annoying and pretty boring, honestly.
She entered the main room quietly, lightly scoffing at the fact the door wasn't even shut before slowly pushing it closed. "Geez..." She muttered quietly to herself, then groaned a little upon seeing the absolute mess Idris had made. Books were flung everywhere, so were the pillows, the chairs were pushed out of place, all that fun stuff.
...And Mei was gonna have to clean it up, huh. But first, before she could do anything, Mei noticed the door to the batcave was open, and inside was the emo himself. She probably would've made a comment about how dumb he looked right now, standing in front of the mirror and all that, but she stopped herself. He was already pissed off and had scissors in his hands, she didn't doubt that he knew how to use them, and she didn't want to risk it.
Speaking of scissors...
She silently walked closer, her arms crossed and her expression neutral. She stopped before entering his room, leaning on the doorframe as she stared at him blankly.
"...Seriously?" She spoke after a few moments, raising her eyebrows.
"Y'know I'd at least call a barber or somethin'..."
She sighed before readjusting herself, taking a moment to look away from him.
"Fine, I'll leave you alone or whatever, but just sayin'... You'd look pretty dumb, honestly. Thought our shenanigans weren't worth listenin' to, y'know."
After a moment, she gave a small groan and pushed herself off the doorframe, raising her hand for a wave as she turned around. "But whatever, have fun doin' whatever that is, I gotta clean up this damn mess you made..." She grumbled, moving her feet to walk off.

He paused.
Maybe this whole thing was a bad idea after all. He was fond of his hair after all.
"....thanks.." He muttered. "....not a word to Jackie or Kaden, alright?" Idris added with a hiss, raising his head a little, keeping his gaze level with the floor.
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
He'd work on himself, try and become less approachable...? Maybe that'd work?
Idris bit his lip nervously, he felt a little bad for making Mei clean everything up...
He placed his hand on his floor, and closed his eyes. The ground next to Mei shook a little, and several cracks appeared.
A skeletal arm burst out of the floorboards and started to rearrange everything Idris knocked over.
Idris wasn't a terrible person after all.
Once it finished, it sunk back into the floor, not before flipping Mei off.
But Idris wasn't nice either.

. "Everyone seems a little mean. I guess I should be glad I'm one of the smaller kids who don't receive as much attention."
She nodded. "That's good. Attention can suck, honestly. I'm glad I'm not noticed much, I don't want to become purple-hair's next target..." Lin pursed her lips. "She seems kinda mean.."
Lin paused.

Kitty exited right behind the boy with ears and the girl he was talking to.
"I'm glad I'm not noticed much, I don't want to become purple-hair's next target..."

"I...uhm...That is a good question."
She couldn't help smiling to herself. While she didn't really know either, she had a feeling she could get along with these two, or, at least, she wouldn't have to worry about them teasing her. Communicating that she wanted to get to know them, however....
"Uh- Um.... Hello...?"
