"Wait, if I felt that does that mean-" Sobble puts on a worried look. "That might mean that the purple energy is still inside of me, I don't see myself attacking people recently though. Maybe only the good bits of the energy are in my body, I'll have to read a book sooner or later about it."

Rin was in the shadows, watching Cath. Ok, so Cath was evil. And Melvin, according to what the Octopod saw, was killing Scarlett. Oh, and Lucinda just made Rin infinetly more powerful. Rin grined and sprinted for a kitsune flower. She squeezed the juice to a mixture of leaves and lilies. Carlise's spirit was guiding her. Spirits were awakened on the blood moon. First, the pink mixture was laid on to Scarlett's wound, then Ayran's. The rest evapourated into Rin's skin. She grinned. So what if she cared about them? The Octopod couldn't harm them now. The mixture gave Rin full controll of it.


She smiled menacingly. The Octopod could now be summoned on a white moon. Perfect. Octopod was her strongest power.

Now to the matter of Melvin. She needed him to stay in line. If her plan was going to work, such a big liability couldn't just be prancing around.

Aiden walks over and waits for the guard to open the door and walks into the main castle. Once inside he walks over to a chair and sets his bag down, "Welp, it's been very tiring today, I'll explain this if someone asks." He then sits on the chair and dozes off.

"Cath?" Atticus was panicking. He couldn't find Rin, nor Cath. "Rin?" He stumbled backwards, falling into a tree. In his panic, it turned ashened white. The dead leves fell on his now bright red-gray hair. He fumbled with a drawstring bag at his waist and took out a wind crystal. He flew back to the Academy, looking, looking. He landed, and without finding Cath or Rin, he ran to his dorm and tried taking deep breaths. He couldn't calm himself, so he locked the dorm door and fell on his bed trying to breathe.

Kai was reforging his sword starting by sharpening the sword.Then begin heating the sword and sharpening the edge part.Strengthen the knife part and finally he does something weird to the sword enchanting it and it was finished.Then begin testing the sword swinging, using the sword's skill and it was finished.

Lucinda got bored of reading, so she made a dummy using mana and started practising using a sword, it wasn’t something she uses a lot but she was starting to get used to it and getting the hang of it.

Cath had made her way back to the school, limping slightly. All the shadow magic stolen from her and then further exerted to find out the truth had seriously taken its toll on her. There were twigs in her hair, and scratches up and down her arms. Once upon a time, she had said that walking was for losers, but that was before the shadow realm had turned on her.

What was the connection between Rin and the octopod? At Atticus's mansion, she has seen Rin control it, the tentacles erupting from her. She would need to do some research later.

But first, she climbed the stairs to the dorms, intending to take a long, well-deserved rest before quests left the next day. She readjusted her messenger bag of tricks. Everything was still in its rightful place. On a whim, she stopped outside of Run and Atticus's room and knocked.

"Mr. Redding? Are you in there?" Her voice was raspy from lack of use, and she bent over, coughing. "It's me."

Aiden had woken up and grabbed his sword, it seemed like it would need to be repaired or upgraded soon as it had cracks forming along the blade but decided to postpone that and walked around the castle seeing if there is anything new within.
