"I will- Woah woah, where am I and what happened?" Calico gives Sobble a light hug.

Scarlett doesn't say anything, just buries her face into Ayran's hair again.

With a flash, she teleported the pair to her room - their room.

"Huh, guess I should be more careful."

Aiden had managed to get through almost all of the forest and hopped a few more trees before seeing a road then an opening out of the forest. He eagerly tree hopped towards the opening then saw huge flower fields and the castle in the middle of it facing the town road. "Wow I could've shortened that by a bit." He then hops off the tree and runs over to the main gate and shouts, "Hey anyone up there? If so can you open the gate." He thought for a second and realized he might be thought of as a stranger and shouts up again, "It's me Aiden, I don't know who's up there so I'm not sure if you know me!" He then backs up and waits for a response.

The doors open, an waiting is a young guard. "It's quite late, I'm surprised you're here."

Aiden nods and says "I'm visiting family." and walks in so they can close the door

"Nice, back at my dorm."

Lucinda slipped back into her dorm, Scarlett and Ayran’s cuddle session was extremely disturbing to her, she flipped down on her bed and started to read

"I still wonder what happened before..."

"WHat do you mean sobble?"

"Like with the "incident" with the sudden urge... Like, I wasn't myself anymore."

"It's alright sobble just keep your mind positive sobble" Kai pats sobble's shoulder

"Thanks mate, let's get to sleep now."

"You'll sleep first I'll keep an eye if there is something happening"

"Ok." Sobble falls asleep on the bed.

Cath woke up, startled. She had fallen into some sort of trance, frozen behind a tree, out of sight from all prying eyes. Immediately she could tell that something had been feeding on her shadow power. She knew that the extra rush she felt from the blood moon was dangerous. But who?

Cath ran through the list of shadow demons she had pissed of in her time. Not Dragaub, Haiendjr, Craelmaeir... none of them had both the intelligence and the power to control her. So there was only one. Melvin.

She clenched her fists, furious. What had he tried to do? Cath closed her eyes, and tapped into the shadows. Given what Melvin had done, they were even more dangerous than usual, but Cath had no other choice. Focusing her energy, (Melvin or whoever had left her with a decent supply remaining), she reached her mind's eye through time and space, until she reached the campus. The shadow imprints were so vivid that she was briefly blinded.

Voices echoed through the realm.

"What do you want?" Scarlett. How was she in the shadow realm? A second figure stalked further back, circling her.

"Your body. I assure you I can be a much better leader than you could ever be. And I certainly wouldn't let my girlfriend die at the hands of Felons." Melvin.

"You don't know anything!"

"Oh, but I do. Such a pathetic excuse for a person. You let your girlfriend pretend to be injured and alone, allowed her to get herself captured to reveal the __cpLocation of the Pelt Hunters, and then you were too slow and weak to save her. You could have saved her when you found her, but you sat there and watched it happen. You didn't even capture the ring-leader, he got away and you knew it."

"No... No..."

She blinked awake, instantly filled with rage. Melvin had borrowed her power to go behind her back and try to control Scarlett for himself. That was messed up on so many levels. Was this the real reason that he had broken her curse? So he could use Cath's power for himself? She was just another pawn in his game. Maybe a rook. She was fairly powerful compared to his usual followers. But she was still just another little minion for him to position on the chessboard, with the added benefit of having no ego.

A furious scream boiled up in her throat. She clamped her mouth shut, just before it escaped, and instead punched the tree next to her. She pulled her hand away, knuckles bloody.

Cath had quite simply been played. And of course, that meant she would keep playing. She had learned a lot more about Melvin from this single encounter than she had previously known, and would be sure to capitalize on that information in the future.

But she would need to subject herself to the whims of a dark maniac who would seek to control her at every turn. Which meant she would need to distance herself from the people who could get hurt. A lonely path, but the right one. Friends really were... a privilege.

Her normally inscrutable intentions would get that much more cloudy. She could engage in sedition and espionage. Cath would also need to embrace the cultivation of her evil persona.

Everything she had finally started to gain, the hope she had felt, fellowship and belonging... a single tear slid down Cath's face. She flicked it away, channeling all her emotions into cold calculated logic. There was no going back.

In the distance, the blood moon sank down beneath the horizon. A tentacled ministered slowed, and shrank down to an innocent form. Cath whispered a few final words into the last darkness of the night.

"Sorry Atticus, but I guess I am evil after all."

Sobble is dreaming and suddenly feels a jolt in his body so he wakes up. "I think I just felt a disturbance in the universe."

Ayran looked at Scarlett, abit tired, and sighs, "Are you feeling better now?"

Scarlett nodded, burying herself into his chest again. "I was so scared...." She whispered. She clutched his shirt, hiccupping.

Ayran hugged Scarlett, letting his head rest on her shoulder, "Don't be scared.. I'm here y'know?~" He whispered cheekily.
