Humans - your regular humans. Need I
say more?
Elves - Stuck up pointy eared narcissistics who live forever. gosh how i hate them
Orcs - Pretty chill people, all they want is to chill and be left alone. You can easily pick them out by their greenish or blue! skin and the size comparison between them and humans.
Vampires - Blood sucking, mysterious and creepy. Don't trust them. hyde is cool though.
Werewolves - Humans that can turn into wolf-like creatures if they don't have an anchor/soothing thing.
Neko - People that can turn into cats. They have tails and ears in their human form though, and they're very popular in the entertainment business. i dont see them often in this unpopular little coffee shop.
Mermaids - Mermaids are very shy. They try not to say the wrong things and embarass themselves, and they're usually smaller than the average person.

Appearance: per usual. he's tall, well built, with scarlet eyes and golden-brown hair with streaks of red. he wears a long, black jacket with a hood, and a crumpled white shirt underneath. He wears long, baggy black pants. He wears brown rain boots and a black mask. he carries around a Rubix cube, which he plays with absentmindedly.
Race/Species: Human
Personality: Jokey, flirty, and chill. He just hangs around, because he doesn't have much else to do. he's intelligent but hyperactive. He has ADHD and often carries around a fidget toy or Rubix cube to play with. He's a chain smoker but doesn't smoke inside of the cafe out of respect. When by himself, he contemplates suicide often. He believes that his life doesn't mean anything anymore, as his life has deteriorated since his family died 5 years ago.
Occupation: a senior year in college. Works minimum wage in the local corner store.

Personality: quiet, nerdy, polite, naturally curious... once talking to her: intelligent, amazing listener, that sister you never had
Occupation: manuscript editor, works from home ---> coffee shop :)
Likes/Dislikes: Likes talking/listening to people, writing/preserving/editing stories, the library; dislikes rude people, alcohol
Relationships: Single, no preexisting friends in the area, fairly friendly with bartenderTheo
Backstory: Cath moved to Seattle following college, and has only been in the city for a year. She grew up in a fairly typical middle class family, and through working two part-time jobs, was able to afford to go to college outside the warzone. Cath works not to express any animosity regardless of someone's species, natures, or ideologies, and is an understanding individual. She is a natural scholar, and finds fascination in the little things around her. Cath loves that she gets paid to do what she enjoys, and has a generally sunny disposition. She is not likely to start a conversation, as she is fairly introverted, but will engage to the fullest with those who engage her. Her family lives in a touristy ski town in the mountains (think Jackson Hole, WY for my American friends), and maintain a positive relationship with her. Cath's family will not be critical to the story!

Appearance: Him (Also wears slightly ragged/torn clothing.
Race/Species: Borrower. (Tiny versions of humans pretty much that live in the walls of homes, taking things humans won't exactly miss in order to survive.)
Personality: Very timid (especially when being noticed,) cautious, eventually cheerful and energetic.
Occupation: None
Likes/Dislikes: (Likes) Sweets, being outside (if safe,) some quieter areas. (Dislikes) Being picked up without notice/permission, loud noises, thunder.
Relationships: He doesn't have any interest whatsoever.
Backstory: Percy didn't know his parents much when he was younger, having to get left behind for his safety. Later, he eventually found the coffee shop, setting his home in there. Currently, he hasn't been seen by anyone in the store. (Which ofc changes in the rp)

Appearance: Blonde, not very noticeable pointy ears which she hides behind her curly locks, average height, blue/turquoise eyes
Race/Species: Elves
Personality: Quiet, kind of shy to tell the truth, smart but doesn't really show it, likes to keep to herself, goes to the coffee shop to study (Not very normal for an elf...)
Occupation: Student in some elf school
Likes: Anything made from/with nuts in them, reading, plants/herbs
Dislikes: Bullies (Though she doesn't stand up to them), messiness, unfinished homework

Backstory: She's extremely quiet, especially for an elf, and therefore is isolated pretty much everywhere she goes. Because of the general elf stereotypes, not many people from other species reach out to her either, resulting in her being left out. She doesn't really mind though, and instead focuses on her study. Yet her parents mind, a lot, because they think that there is something wrong with her. They constantly bug her to make more friends and be more open, so she comes to the coffee shop the escape all that.
