Sprigatito, unless I prefer Fuecoco's or Quaxly's final evo, I mostly choose starters based on which final form I like the best

As for which version I'm picking.... I'll decide once the games are actually out based on what version exclusive mons each one has

I'm thinking Fuecoco. I'm assuming that Quaxly will end up water/flying and will thus be vulnerable to that 4x and Spriggatio is a grass type and thus one of the weakest types, which leaves Fuecoco. Plus, Fuecoco has that cute Totodile-tiny-chomper-esque charm.

Neither because I don’t have money, but, if I did, I’d choose Violet and Quaxly. I usually pick water starters because blue’s my favorite color and water Pokémon just generally seem easier to get along with, and I really dislike “warm” colors like scarlet—I like “cool” colors like violet and the aforementioned blue. Also, Violet’s ride Pokémon makes a lot more sense—it was weird seeing how the Scarlet ride Pokémon just ran instead of using its wheels in the trailer. And the futuristic aesthetic is a lot cooler, too.

It all depends on the final evolutions for me...always has when picking starters.
Though from the first baby forms I'd pick Sprigatito. I love cats and it's super cute!

i'm getting both games but playing scarlet first, i won't know until i see the final evos but i think i'm goin fuecoco

Most likely Sprigatito for Scarlet, but I’m not completely set in my Violet starter just yet, it’ll be a matter of choosing my favourite final evolution.
