The sun has begun to rise, the waters are calm and the flight of the Swellow fly high in the sky, but there's one young lady that has woke up from her sleep, her name is Zoe. Zoe got out of bed and changed into her outfit, she packed some stuff and put on her boots. "Sapphire, this is it we are heading on an adventure", Zoe said to her Horsea named Sapphire. Sapphire smiled then Zoe said, "Perfect, it looks like I got everything ready", Zoe grabbed her bag and along with her Horsea headed outside. As Zoe walked outside, she sees a ship called the "S.S Kabutops" Zoe was amazed and then said, "I guess this is the ship, I'm curious to know what's going on", Zoe said as she walked up to the ship.

Quincey stood about the deck, their Dartrix practicing it's newly learned Leaf Blade on an old rope strung from the crow's nest. Noticing someone approaching, they call their Dartrix to their side, who had just cut through the rope. "Aye," Quincey calls at the woman. "Thought I'd be here a little bit early, but you guy's took longer than expected." Seeing her admiring the ship, Quincey laughs. Letting down the plank so she could board, they ask, "First time?"

Dressed as Vinny he made sure to smile widely and his movements were far more dramatic as he made his way to the ship. It was nice enough though it was certainly no luxury ship. Still he had his role to play and so he looked to his Samurott and jumped up and down a few times, "Look buddy a huge ship! Oh this is so exciting! Our new adventure starts now!"

Zoe made it to the ship and wondered around, she sees a Dartrix and a traveller, Zoe began to asked, "Hello, I am curious to know what brings you here to the S.S Kabutops, I don't see the captain, have you seen the captain yet?". Zoe's Horsea named Sapphire looked up and began to use the move Bubble to attract the attention from the Dartrix, "Gosh, where's the captain? I just want the adventure to begin", Zoe said to herself. She soon sees a gentleman with a Samurott and turned around and begun to ask, "Are you here for the adventure on the S.S Kabutops?".

"Oh boy are we!" He explained before looking to Eli he roared in agreement with his statement. "This is a once and a life time adventure for someone like me so I am hoping to see all I can."

"I'm not sure," Quincey remarks. "I've had my Dartrix search a bit, but I see nothing so far." The owl coos at this. "Perhaps we don't have one?" Quincey steps up to the wheel, playfully pointing out and saying, "Thar she blows!"

Jess hesitantly walked up to the ship, with her lucario following close behind. She quickly walked up and onto the boat looking down the entire way. With her hair covering her eyes she brushed it away with her hand, and with her hands now in her pockets she wondered how to introduce herself to the others on the ship. Jess's lucario looked at her with expectant eyes, confused she raised an eyebrow as he dropped his head. "Okay, okay," she said in response. She slowly walked up behind the others without a sound. "Hello?" she said her face begging in to grow warm at the awkward moment.

Zoe sees an adventurer, "Greetings, welcome to the S.S Kabutops", she said in a calm tone. Meanwhile, Sapphire the Horsea looked at the Lucario and attempted to use the Bubble move to welcome the adventurer and the Lucario who entered the ship, then Zoe said to the adventurer, "The captain should be here in a moment". Then Zoe heard footsteps, she turned around quickly and said, "What was that?".

Dancing up to the ship he felt foolish by his actions but it needed to be done until he was safely inside the ship. With that he could slip into the roll of Vincent. Eli nudged into him as if saying calm down it will all be fine. Reassured by his friend he continued on till he was on the ship.

It had been a few months since she had joined the crew of S.S. Kabutops, first picked up as nothing more than another prisoner of war from a rival Pirate gang. She had been content with that, allowed to wander up on deck and talk with the crew's pokemon but after an altercation in which she had steered the crew to safety, she had become an official member. She didn't hate it per say, it allowed her to stay on the sea at all times and feel the Mother's embrace but everyone was just weird. They had insisted on calling him something so he had cast his mind back to his first crew who had scornfully mentioned that his howl was worse than a pod of passing Gastrodon. That offhanded comment had led her to continue those screams, almost a point of pride that even while captive and used, she could still make the pirate's lives a living hell. So when his new crew explained to him what a name was, Howl could confidently choose what he wished to be called.

Now the crew had finally made land and while it was nice to stock up on supplies, Howl had no intention of actually going to a crowded city. The rest of the crew had agreed and designated him to stay behind to watch the ship while the captain went to greet the new recruits and the rest of the crew dispersed among the city to enjoy themselves. Howl had spent her time in the water, gently taking care of the pokemon around the port and surprisingly they seemed to not be in horrible shape. Humanity was still awful and hurt the pokemon but they weren't as hurt as they could be, staying so near a settlement as populated as the city the S.S. Kabutops had docked at.

With a muted splash, Howl hauled herself up and onto one of the dinghy she had let down earlier before pulling herself up, uncaring of the puddle of water pooling at the bottom of the small vessel. It doesn't take much time at all for Howl to haul herself up onto the deck of the S.S. Kabutops and stow the dinghy away to its rightful place, possibly because she's done it so many times, and stretches out delightfully sore muscles before turning to the puddle of water leaking onto the deck. "Ae, ye rapscallion. We be on the ship now." He grumbled, watching as the water began to slide together in an odd approximation of a quadrupedal animal before Minsoo, Howl's long time partner, materialized and let out a very innocent merp, looking very cute as the Vaporeon padded away down towards the cabins presumably. Lazy abbey lubber that one, but Howl didn't mind. He was Howl's lazy abbey lubber.

*As the crew gathered outside the ship, Rei looked down at them from the crows nest. Even from where she was, she could tell that, for many of them, this would be their first voyage. The salt of the sea hadnt yet stained their hair. The waves hadnt yet tainted their walks on land. She took a deep breath in, inhaling the smells of the sea before making her decent down the mast of the crows nest and eventually the ships deck. Once on the deck, she took out a beaten up pokeball and threw it to release her first mate, Bisharp, who then stood at the edge of the ship and yelled to get everyone's attention*

Looking curious at the person yelling he wanted to scoff at how improper it all was. Yelling was often tasteless to him. It was drilled into him from a young age that those without real power yelled. Those with real power never had to yell for they had control of the situation. They didn't need to yell to show it for everyone already knew. Still he was playing Vinny and so he stared at the lady and her Bisharp smiling all the while.

After seeing the captain for the first time, Zoe became serious and said to the captain, "Yes captain" and along with her Horsea was focused on the challenge ahead. Zoe thought, "I must impress the captain and I know I need focused on the adventure ahead". Then Zoe with curiousity asked, "Captain, I will like to know if there's any challenges up ahead in the adventure ahead, I'm worried that there might be some Tentacruels and Sharpedos up ahead?".

It wasn't rare for the captain or anyone one the crew for that matter to raise their voice, the crashing waves and screaming winds ever present on the high seas making such bellows a necessity to be heard over the cacophony of nature. Howl was more than used to it but still the small part of herself that had slowly began showing herself after all these months on the Kabutops jumped at the loud sound. Out of habit, Howl turned towards Rei and blinked as if awaiting orders but once Zoe began to speak seemed to snap out of it with a brief shake of her head. Sea water splattered across the hardwood deck as Howl took a seat at a shaded nook where he kept maps scratched out on leather, a precaution that he had taken after figuring out that paper unfortunately did not mix very well with water. Opening one of them, Howl made herself comfortable while keeping an ear out for this odd conversation. It seemed that there were new recruits, not uncommon, but it certainly seemed more serious than the others. It wouldn't hurt to be in the know, at least for now

*Once Bisharp yelled to get everyones attention, Rei began to slowly walk up to the side of the ship. Once next to Bisharp, she raised her voice and began to address the crew* For those of you who do not know me, I am your captain, and you will refer to me as either Miss or Captain, am I clear? *The crew was silent for a few moments until Zoe broke the silence, causing for Rei to smirk* What is your name, sailor?

Zoe said in a serious tone, "My name is Zoe Kosar-Whitling, captain", Zoe hoped that she remained calm when the captain explained. Still, Zoe knows that she needs to respect the captain with all her determination but Zoe is hopeful in the adventures and she hopes that the other adventurers will be in agreement.

*Rei smirked and bit her tongue as she spoke, not wanting to embarrass Zoe but wanting to get a point across.* When we are out on the waters, and the only things you can see for miles are less then 10 feet away from you, Sharpedo's and Tentacruels will be the least of your worries. *Rei put her foot on a wooden board on the deck and pushed it off the boat and onto the dock.* Now lets go, I want the wind to be in our sails and my ship in open waters within the hour! *Rei turned and looked at Howl and motioned for him to follow Rei*

After hearing the command from the captain, Zoe informed the adventurers, "Adventurers, we must set sail the search for the treasure of Pewter must commence", then she turned to the adventurer named Jess, "Jess, begin raising the mast", then she turned to Quincey, "Start pulling out the anchor and get your companion to assist you", then she turned her attention to Vinny, "Finally, remove the entry plank and hopefully the adventure can begin".

Snapping into an almost sarcastic salute, Howl hopped off the barrel he was sitting on and lazily meandered after Rei. A trail of water dripped behind her as she trailed behind her captain with the maps in hand. Taking a glance at the new sailors, he rolled his eyes at the most vocal one, Zoe was it, as she began barking orders. A newcomer had no right to be ordering others around, that right was reserved for the Captain or the Quartermaster. Even if she did know how to sail a boat, she was still a greenhorn on the ship, there were other sailors who had been under Captain Rei's leadership who had that right above her. Howl knew his place on the boat, Zoe would too eventually.

Although he spoke very little, even a slight inclination of an eyebrow was enough for him to get the question across. "Where to, Captn'"

*Rei glanced over her shoulder as she walked with Howl and whispered under her breath* Do me a favor and keep an eye on the newcomers. I dont want them *Rei hesitated as a crewmember walked by. She then continued once they walked past them*- "barging in" and making a mess of my ship. Understood? *Zoe continued barking orders over the silence and Rei looked ta her from a distance* I'll deal with that one however
