It's a simple weekly event : Every Tuesday (or any day specified) An event will occur after the global reset where a specific pokemon needs to be hatched for a reward. The pokemon is random each week and rewards are given to everyone who hatches their egg with that specified pokemon (With much better rewards for the first 10 to do so) . For example, if a Wurmple is required to be hunted, they can use either egg radar (Efficient but slightly expensive) , Rowan's lab (Inefficient but free) or Daycare (Efficient and expensive) to receive and hatch their egg. They then give their pokemon on the event section to redeem their prize. Estimating for anyone below the top 10 could get either 2k pokedollars or some amount of random gems for a common egg, with the top ten getting better and better rewards until 1st place getting either 20k pokedollars or a special egg for common egg. anyone who wins in the top 10 could also have stats showing it in the profile (i.e. Number of times receiving top 10 in Scavenger Hunt : ___). The hunt prizedepends on the rarity of the pokemon (It should never exceed the hard rarity). The prizes and weekly event date can be changed freely by the admins. Let me know what you think! :D

This is . . . a pretty nice idea. But maybe adding on; the egg doesn't break your chain? Because tons of people use the PokeRadar like every second of the day. So, say if tuesday you'd have to hatch a caterpie, that day is temporarily where caterpie eggs don't break chains? I don't really know how it works and dunno how to explain it, but it wouldn't be fair for the pokeradar users to not participate because of their shiny hunt.

But full support! It is honestly a great idea!

I agree with the idea of eggs not affecting the chain unless you are already on chain of that pokemon, like on the original scavenger hunt

Aside from the shiny hunting dilemma, this just wouldn't be fair due to time zones. The people who are asleep at reset would just never get into the top 10. To try to even that out, I suppose the scavenger hunt could start at a different time every week. However, that might get confusing with less people participating because they're not aware of the starting time or don't remember when it is that week.

I don't think this is a terrible idea, but it's not a particularly amazing and game changing idea either. Hatching a specific egg weekly for some rewards isn't a huge thing and the logistical issues with shiny hunting and time zones make it not worth it in my opinion.

This also kind of depends whether you have the mon for breeding or not. I find this extremely unfair due to RNG.

It'll be nice if you have 100 mons inside of that specific pokemon for scavenger hunts and yea otherwise it isnt really fair.

Considering the fact that I mostly get HORRIBLE RNG on this game (Check my shiny hunt for Eevee), this idea shouldn't be implemented whatsoever.

Maybe to fix time zone issues, make it work like the original
When you sign up, your timer starts, you need to get the pokemon that was chosen that month via egg radar, then evolve it to the final form (excluding mega and gigamax),
The competition could last for 5 days per month and the 6 will reveal the winners

I like the idea but maybe it could happen a bit less often, like once every month and last a week. Also, maybe only hard or higher rarity pokemon because if it was Wurmple then there would be too many ties.
