"Awh well once we're out of this damned maze, of course!" He tried to shoot the little one who just spoke a reassuring smile, but he didn't know how it came out, while they were literally unsure of what might jump on them out here in a place they knew nothing about.

Vricollei shot a look at Gin as if debating his question. He wasn't really the best with kids, the smaller they were the more trauma he ended up giving them is what Carissa had always joked. Perhaps Aten's history of broken limbs and head trauma spoke after their spars spoke enough of his child handling skill. On the other hand he knew children well enough to know that saying no might just upset the kid, especially in this type of situation. Looking up and shoving in his pockets, the devaronian finally gave his answer. "If you're sure you can handle it." He grumbled, fighting back a small smile.

Violet didn't say anything; she wanted to be polite. She accidently bumped into Mehul.
"Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh I'm so sorry!" She quickly said. She sighed.
"I'm genuinely sorry- I'm not usually this clumsy." She said, looking down.

They walked for what seemed like hours unperturbed until suddenly, the floor caved in from underneath them. When they all landed and got up, it seemed like they were in a large alcove of some sort. There was a deep drop, and something underneath. Rose got up gingerly, wincing as she looked to her shoulder, seeing Maggs gone. She whirled around, and his silver eyes melted out from the shadows, squeaking as way of saying hello. "Everyone okay?" Vlad asked, grunting as he too got up.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She says, looking down. Her Katana was still on her back, thankfully, and she brushed some dirt off. "Hopefully everyone else is." She stumbles around in the darkness. "Now what?" She asks, really loudly.

Once again, Mahogany’s unpredictable instincts kicked in and, as he found himself falling, he shifted into a shadow. He watched the others fall past him as he remained in place on the side of the hole. As usual, he still saw the world in 3-D, though he himself was now 2-D. It was as if he saw the world from the perspective of a sheet of paper with eyes that bulged out a little. Movement in this form was a bit strange, and it had taken him quite some time to get the hang of it. His body reacted to his brain just as his if he were still a physical human, and to him moving felt no different, with the exception that seemingly defying gravity was now possible.

Turning downwards and diagonal, the shadow proceeded to jog down the wall. The fall looked to have actually been rather short, and he could see the others gathered at the bottom. He would have been fine if he’d not reacted so suddenly. Perhaps if he could slip in behind them quickly, he could maintain secrecy. If not, though, it was beginning to seem like less of a big deal.

Gin woke up on the floor.He let out a groan."Why did we have to fall as I was taking a nap"Gin complained.As he got up,he noticed that his bag was near empty."Why does everyone steal my stuff back home"Gin though.As if his day couldn't get worse,He saw that one of those stolen items was his ice blaster(The device that froze the first monster works by shooting out a lot of icy air).Gin was sad over that loss as it was his favorite weapon.

Vricollei groaned, slowly sitting up. "Well I'm not dead, but I've certainly been better." He gave out a coarse grumble as he stood up on his feet. He should consider retiring once he got out of here. He never would, but the devaronian felt like being dramatic. As if suddenly reminded of his blaster, Vricollei reached for his back, grasping the weapon, slowly exhaling as he found it felt intact. That was good, he couldn't imagine being stuck here without a weapon. "Are we all here or did some of us manage to escape the cave-in?"

With his demigod training kicking in, Mehul was rather unperturbed by the fall. They practiced higher jumps and falls back at camp like daily- for moments exactly like this. "We need to really get moving- we can't see much, and this could very well be a trap, we could be surrounded by all sides in no time-"

Vlad's eyes swept around the room. While his vision was not completely blackened, he still had to adjust his eyes to the sudden darkness. He didn't seem to register Mehul's words, just pressed the palms of his hands together, closed his eyes, and opened them, moving his fingers apart and then clasping them together. "Okay, first things first, while many people have told me they could go without seeing my so-called ugly mug, I kind of like this sense called seeing, so Rose, light please?" "Right." Rose flicked her wrist, and a healthy-sized flame danced across her palm, sending light cascading over all of them. "Now, believe it or not, I hear you," he said, nodding to Mehul, "But based on what my gogglers be telling me, this alcove is free of enemies, unless one of you is going to pull a Bodysnatcher and turn on us. But by all means, find us a way off this alcove."

Slipping down the side of the hole, across the ceiling of the alcove at the bottom, and down the wall into the darkened area behind Vlad, Mahogany stepped out of his shadow as easily as simply stepping forwards. He didn't want to speak right away so as to not draw too much attention to himself, but he also didn't want to come across creepy. When the others saw him, they may assume he'd been standing there the whole time and had just remained still and silent.

While the Shade classification did have a bit of a stereotype surrounding it, that being a sort of dark and brooding sense, that really wasn't who he himself was. While the occasional light hearted jump scare could be fun with the younger Protectors and he tended to be more of a listener than a talker in group meetings, he preferred to have the majority of his cards on the table. Or at least the important cards. The cards he thought it would benefit others to see? That metaphor had always been a bit lost on him; if your cards were on the table, didn't that mean you were giving others exactly the information needed to win against you?

He decided that he'd likely given it long enough. "Have we checked around the walls? Puzzles may be the type of thing found here." On a whim, he rubbed the back of his neck as if it were sore. A little thing, but Mahogany couldn't act to save his own life and therefore felt a tiny bit proud at having thought of it, though he knew how silly that was.

Violet climbed up the wall very enthusiastically. When she got up to the top, she said "Anyone need any help?" She was next to Mehul, holding her hand out to the rest of them below, waiting for the others to climb up. Her hand was light and clean in the dim light of the fire, her voice was soft and comforting.

"I'm ok"Gin replied to the girl who already scaled the wall.Gin got up out of the cave in and found some bones he quickly stored them in his bag hoping to see if they had any properties good for his inventions.Gin looked around and found some mushrooms he went over and observed them.Gin left them alone after noticing they were harmful.

"Alrighty." Violet said, studying the boy who had just spoke. She looked down at the hole. "Was that meant to happen?" She asked to no one in particular. She sat down, kinda tired. "Mind if I... take a nap?" she mumbled sluggishly. After about a couple minutes, she fell sound fast asleep. Her body was hunched together; from another persons point of view it might've came across as uncomfortable. She didn't mind though.

Though it was his suggestion at the first place, Mehul didn't climb up the wall yet. While the others seemed keen on just heeding to his suggestion and leaving the hole, he was intrigued by what the person- Mahogany, had said. So he stayed back looking around at the walls for clues or puzzles. But really, being the son of the God of Sun, darkness wasn't his thing. If there was anything, he couldn't see it. He still stayed back helping people climb up, if needed, and if the others- Vlad, Rose, Mahogany, just the more wiser and trained people- had anything to say.

Violet slowly woke up from her nap. She sat up, looked around. "Where- oh... Right." She said. "You guys *yawn* ready to continue?" She asked. She laid back down, not going back to sleep but just laying there. She seemed deep in thought. Her blue eyes looked puzzled. Her mouth moved, just like she was talking, but no sound came out.

Suddenly, the tiny strange creature that had been standing on Rose's shoulder let out an ear-piercing squeal. Rose winced, the flame going out as she clamped her hands over her ears. "Hey, Maggs!" She snapped. "Cut that out!" "Rose, light, please," Vlan exclaimed frustratedly, and Rose produced the light again. She realized that Maggs had been pointing at something. She turned her head, holding out the light. Her face paled. "You guys might want to see this..." she said slowly and made the flame grow so that they could see. The cliff didn't just end in a bottomless pit of despair. At the bottom of the cliff were millions of buildings, carved into the rock. A city lay directly beneath them.

Vricollei stepped towards the cliff edge, whistling as he overlooked the hidden city. "Kinda looks like Geonosian tunnels, but like... for humans." The horned being lightly kicked a small pebble over the edge. "How do you suppose we get down there?" He had to admit, this hidden city had somewhat managed to catch his attention though it was less of the city and more of the possibility of treasure. The devaronian had never been good with anything to do with climbing or hiking, whatever one wanted to call it, but the unknown seemed to be a good enough motivation for him.
