"Are you sure?...You looked so...idk...scared...fearful? Did you lose something really important and valuable to you? Actually s-sorry its none of my business...yeah let's keep going...take these back though." Atticus handed the bag of peanuts over to Zoe. "You'll probably need them more than me...but I'll take the ones you dropped..." He carefully picked up the peanuts from the ground and cleaned them of sand with some water and his sleeve. He ate them and started walking. "And I agree but we need to find resources first...it's hard to build a shelter in the desert and we don't really have anything...maybe we should just try to walk and find help?"

"You're right," she said sharply, as she took the peanuts"It isn't any of your business. But we can't keep walking all night. Either my injury makes me give out or this oh so lovely diet of airplane food and water runs out. See that cliff?" She said, pointing to the outcropping in the distance, "There will most likely be a crack, a hole, something that can keep us safe from predators. We don't know if anyone else survived, or where they are, so help could be nonexistent and we should treat it that way for now."

Atticus nodded, "Yeah lets rest there...this whole thing is making me incredibly exhausted...and...I just really hope that others were able to survive if we were able to....someone I know...a close friend...they were on that plane with us...I hope they're ok..." He shook his head. "A-anyway I'm trying to think....we could find out what animals live here and possibly hunt them"

She sighed, pulling her hair back away from her face and twisting it between her fingers. "No point. We don't have anything to hunt with. And besides, when's the last time you saw an animal slow enough to catch. Our best bet is.." her eyes flickered back and forth. Something Eric had mentioned once. He loved deserts. "There." She started walking torwads one of the cacti, and carefully twisted off some strange bright red fruit growing on it. "Cactus fruit. Keeps you hydrated and it's not half bad." She tossed a few to Atticus while taking a bite of another, chewing slowly.

Jesus got out the hot springs shook off the water on his body, got dressed and laid down on the ice next to the seat since he didn't want to bother Avery's nap

Atticus caught the cactus fruit and ate it. It tasted mildly sweet and refreshing. He looked up at Zoe and asked, "Hey, how'd you know about them? You've had these before?" He looked out around them while he talked in case he could find something useful but there was just sand and cacti as far as he could see.

Avery continued sleeping, mumbling something about home, a crazy weird land dolphin and Atticus. Their bracelet glowed and sparkled in various pretty colors.

Margo stayed in that position until the newcomer removed his hand from her face. She looked up slowly, opening her eyes and revealing her missing eye. She stayed on the ground though, and she was still scared. "Why are you here? and why are you helping me?' she whispered, unable to go above that. Her voicebox had been destroyed.

Phenix didn't seem too disturbed by the lack of an eye. "I'm not sure why I'm here. The plane crashed, I think." He rubbed the back of his head, wincing. "I can't really remember anything past takeoff." Gently, he reached forward with the cloth. "Lean forwards a little. I'm going to tie this over your eye socket to keep it from getting infected."

"Phenix. Phenix Osiris." The cloth was tied soon, and Phenix leaned back to examine his work. "It'll hold for now. If it comes off, I can tie it again." After a moment, he continued. "I'm helping you because it's what I should do. I won't leave somebody to suffer just because I don't know them."

Zoe took another slow bite out of the fruit she was carrying, before swallowing it and responding vaguely, "Picked up a few things here and there." She couldn't let him know the whole story. C'mon, it's getting late, let's just try to get to the cliffside." Though, quickly she realized that they wouldn't make it in time. So, finding a relatively undisturbed patch of sand, she sat down with a sigh. "Just try and get some sleep out here, okay? I'll keep watch." She crossed her injured leg over the other one so that it was away from the sand. She knew infection would set in soon, but she had no way of stopping that.

Margo reached up and felt the bandage, and winced. It hurt a lot. Then she looked at the sky and realized the time had gone by very fast. She suddenly felt very tired and yawned widely. She couldn't keep her eye open, and fell asleep, regardless of the stranger.

Phenix grimaced, but soon fell asleep himself. The darkness was strange, tonight. As if it were mocking them after the crash. But it was still exhausting to try and stay up any longer. It would be pointless, he knew that. Closing his eyes, he allowed sleep to take him into it's grasp.

Atticus hesitated but nodded and lay down on the sand, closing his eyes. His last thoughts before drifting off to sleep was What did Zoe mean that she "picked up a few things here and there"?...and the way she panicked before to find something that seemed important...hmm...hope tomorrow's a better day...I hope Avery survived and is alright...

Margo rolled around on her bed, wondering where her blanket went. She groped over the side of the bed, and felt for it, but she couldn't reach the floor. She leaned over farther, but she scratched her arm. scratched my- then she remembered.
She opened her eye and eeped. She was leaning over the edge of the cliff, and she figured that the cracking sound was NOT good. She felt the rock beneath her tremble.

“It’s so early.....” Light says while looking for food.. “I don’t wanna die from starvation.” Light finds a few mushrooms. “Will I die from eating this?” Light ignores the mushroom. “Alright. I will just look for fruits.” Light looks for fruits by sees a animal. “Oh I’m so sorry, I will have to kill this deer.” Light gets a sharp stick and shoves the stick into the deers eyes. “I’m so sorry!”

Phenix woke up slowly, opening his eyes to find his fellow mountaineer dangling over the edge of the cliffs. A quick noise of panic, then he started slowly towards her, his hand outstretched. "Reach for me, that rock is going to fall." His steps were slow and steady, his eyes flicking from Margo to the ground beneath him.

Margo inched her hand towards Phoenix's, and grabbed it. He yanked her to safety, and that price of rock fell away, crumbling to the ground below. Margo was paralyzed in fear, then, without warning, she started laughing softly. Her voice sounded like wind chimes.
