Pokemon:
Yesterday was what generations past have dubbed "Collection Day"; when groups of armored humans equipped with ever-increasing technology venture out into your world to collect a minimum of 200 members of varying species. Some of you may have lost friends, others family, but for one specific group of Pokemon, lead by a Cofagrigus called Alostor, this is the final straw. Rallied by the Coffin Pokemon, you now gather, planning how you ought to storm the walls of human society and, if possible, save those who have been taken.
Humans:
Another day has begun within the walls of the System. Do you like your dictated life? Are you happy with it? If you were to answer 'no' publicly to these questions, you know that you would be punished. Some people are quite happy, but you aren't. You know there has to be more outside the gargantuan Wall hemming in all known society. You all live in the same sector of town, likely know each other from school or from performing various community service projects for each other as all students are required to do over the course of their years. Perhaps a few of you have taken the time to study the Wall when you were younger and managed to not be caught. Be that all as it may, you long for life outside this all. How far would you be willing to go, how much would you be willing to sacrifice, to satisfy that longing? Because the time is rapidly approaching; one of your number, a girl named Calypso, is soon to venture again to the Wall, and what she will discover will once more ignite her desire for freedom.
Calypso finished curling her hair, slung her reinforced fabric brief bag over her shoulder, and locked her apartment door behind her as she left. She had 'scored', as the h-mail (holographic mail) had said, an internship with the main news station serving the System after her final exams in twelfth grade. Needless to say, she hadn't been quite as thrilled as her parents at this assignment. Caly loved technological sciences, always had and always would; from a young age, she'd expressed an aptitude for it, and her dream had been to be assigned to the development sector. The girl had been shattered to learn that, not only would she not be exploring her ideals and proceeding to the System's university, but she wouldn't even get to enter a mildly technical or scientific profession. Her predetermined destiny was to only read the reports of others on those ever-progressing topics. As she stepped into the minimalistic glass elevator that would take her from her home in the sky to the ground floor of the building where a terminal to the megalopolis's automatic walkways, strips of solid blue energy that allowed a person to simply step on and be transported rapidly to the destination they keyed in at the beginning, she let out a small, barely audible sigh. Might as well get used to it, she reckoned. It had been two weeks, and nothing seemed to have any chance of changing.
Agent Fallows, signing out~
Orchid had just gotten back from the night shift at the hospital. He was tired, as he always was, and wanted to just go to sleep. It was always like this. He had almost no time to go see his family, and when he did they were always busy or more often than not, asleep. He didn't mind the job itself, being a lab technician wasn't that dull and he got to help others without being on the front lines, but the hours were bad. He was practically nocturnal at this point, which didn't help his already struggling social life. Much worse, he never got time to see Clover. He couldn't even remember the last time he saw her. Was it during his university graduation, or was it sooner? He was to exhausted to think about it. He just wanted to rest.
If any past version of Roy were to look at him now, they'd likely be stunned; offering to join a revolution against humanity used to be one of the last things he'd decide to do. And yet, here he was now; here for his father, who was lost to the Collection a long time ago, for his mother, who did her best to keep on going despite everything, and for his younger brother, taken yesterday.
He was never the best battler. Nor is he any good, really. Still, any attack counts, and a well-used Thunder Wave could change the tide of battle. 'I hope so, at least...' he thought, racking his mind for all the ways it could be practically used

Oliver sat on a bench, holding a book in front of him. He was lazily flipping through the pages, his eyes half-lidded. He was still a little drowsy as he hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and was left to deal with the unfortunate side effects. Throwing his head back he sighed, running his thumb and index finger down his nose. He really hated that most actions had consequences.

Analise was taking a walk. Her predetirmned life put her as a high-school dropout who mostly worked to make her own money, and she had finished her shift. Jamming her hands in her pockets, as she crossed the park, she noticed Oliver on the bench. Boy, did he look tired. She might have her doubts about this place, but at least she didn't droop like a wilted flower. She snuck up behind him, tapping him on the shoulder. "Heeey Oliver! Watcha doing?"
Ultima kept his distance from the pokemon that had gathered together, he never wanted to be a part of this anyways. He always found comfort in doing things alone, a group like this irritated him. Well, not like he had a choice. He figured he should just swallow his pride and accept that he wouldn’t get within those cursed walls alone, so he turned to the option he refused before. He had his own experience with humans, none of them good. His family had been taken from him, leaving him alone for most of his life. Even before then, it was rough. Fear was struck into the hearts of everyone he knew and loved, it was honestly sickening. He just wanted to get inside...
Fay joined the stream of students exiting the building, falling into line around the transporter that would take him to his next lecture. He could see the Wall from here. No one truly knew what life was like outside the city walls, and the System seemed content with keeping citizens in the dark. It seemed illogical for the System to have never organized search parties for the outside world, yet the System claimed to have no information of the outside. What if Pokemon really were out there? What if the System was hiding it? Fay stepped into the blue glow of the transporter, lost in thought as the Wall disappeared from sight.
Nyx slipped into the crowd of Pokemon, keeping to the edge as the gathering grew in size. Over the figures of larger Pokemon Nyx could see a Coffagrigus standing at the head. The truth was, Nyx was somewhat scared to penetrate the walls. Terrified, even. Now that he was here, that awful day was coming back to him, the day his siblings were violently ripped from his life by the Collection.
How long has it been since he’d last seen his siblings, over a year already? He’d like to say he had grown stronger in the time apart, more independent, and in some ways he had. But even now he still felt so alone. Still, clinging to the distant hope that his family was still alive, Nyx mustered up his courage and pushed closer toward the center of the crowd.
"Need more creamer." Orchid noted as he took inventory of the fridge. "Should go shopping today." Although he was exhausted, he hadn't walked outside during daylight in at least a week, so he decided to take the scenic route. Orchid pressed a few buttons and the machine sprang to life. The quiet drone almost lulled him to sleep before it was done. He drank the coffee plain, the bitter taste and temperature waking him up more than the caffeine. Feeling slightly better, he changed into his casual clothes and headed out.
Title: Puddles
In his time at the ruins, he learned a lot from stories of the past structures and the ways pokemon used to help build and live together in homes with diverse groups of pokemon and "people". With the help of the elders and a few like-minded pokemon, they managed to fix up the ruins of a small house into something livable. He spent less and less time with his flock and with a base of operation he set his sights on the wall. A Grand piece of architect and technology that even the legendary leaders could not bridge. Such strong walls would make the perfect material to make a safe and comfortable home for him and his mutuals. No longer would they have to brave bad weather or fear invasion by outside forces, at least a stronger cover than just hiding in the plant brush.
He's been observing the walls fearlessly with zealous, pecking at it here and there and making attempts to fly over it, even digging under it. Making note of any changes no matter how small until one day he notices a big change. He felt a great thrill and bathed in the feeling before hurrying off to tell his like-minded comrades of his findings, unaware of the danger he just barely dodged as the walls opened and the collection began. He spent quite some time in discussion and debate with the others in the home and when he attempted to go back to hurry to the wall he was stopped by the elder leader of the ruins. The discovery was indeed an important one but it was a dangerous time currently.
Those words didn't click right away until a ducklett came flying in. Hysterical and crying that he barely escaped and pleaded for help for their mother and other flock members.
At the bank of the lake Puddle's mother led a small group of his siblings to visit him. Aware that this day was dangerous and wanted to bring puddles back to the safety of the lake. Until the chaos of other birds scattering from towards the wall, some falling out of the sky as if stuck or captured into something. She flew up in an attempt to ascertain the danger and barely escape the first attempt to capture her. Not as lucky and caught by surprised all but one ducklett managed to slip away, letting out cries alerting their mother and gathered the attention of a few nearby swanna.
Back with puddles and their younger sibling he hurried to return to the lake in an attempt to help his flock. He manages to fly ahead to where his mother was only to see her capture, his attempts to get closer are thwarted by his mother's crying plead to protect the siblings he had left. Being forced to watch on the sidelines as his mother, siblings, and other flock mates get taken away while cowering in the cover, protecting his only little sibling left under his wing as they muffled cries while trembling.
Waving his ribbons distractedly, he, in an airy, almost feathery voice, called softly, "The humans usually come in the day. The Munna has a point; perhaps, if they are diurnal, we could attempt to at least inspect the border at night?"
He froze, realizing the major flaw in his argument. "E-er, never mind. Forget it. If even one of them peeks over in the daytime, we're more likely to be spotted, and then that'll be it."
Now, Calypso had decided that she wanted to walk home; taking the transports got dull after some time, and she wasn't quite in the mood to go back to her solitary apartment just yet. Her heels clicked on the marble tile sidewalk as she traversed the cityscape, blue fluorescent lighting from modern street lamps bouncing off her golden-brown hair as the sun drifted to meet the horizon she had never seen, casting the shadow of the enormous Wall to envelope everything it contained.
As the young woman's walk began to come to an end, she, on a whim, continued past the giant skyscraper in which she lived. As she drew nearer and nearer to the outer reaches of the city, the street along which she was walking came to an end in a cul-de-sac. Caly knew her way around this area, though, as she assumed most children in the System had at one point in time. Slipping carefully, unsuspiciously, out of the lamplight, she wished her pants were darker, but naught could be done about that now. In between two of the stately buildings that, at a glance, appeared perfectly positioned, a thin strip of black was all that hinted at the little alleyway which they concealed.
