He caught a glimpse of the boy as he swept back to his tent; a boy he recognised as loyal to the Masked Man, which made him snarl. Nobody should yeild to that cowering shrimp of a being.
After returning to his tent, Twelve had spent the night pacing, pondering the ways in which escape would be possible. Climbing the fence was off-limits. Digging under it would take too long. Flying over it.. well, Jonathan didn't know anyone that could fly. And teleporting- Jake froze. No, teleporting wouldn't work.
At the first sign of light, he practically ran outside, despite having not slept at all; the excitement was plenty enough to wake him up. His eyes scoured the area, searching for anyone that looked as if they were trying to hide a conversation. His eyes narrowed at a group of teens, whom he took a step towards, before hearing words from behind him that sent his heart tumbling; 'get out of here'. Immediately he turned, and found himself facing a group of three girls. Oh, great. No better way to ruin his reputation, though he figured it was worth the risk.
He strode up to them and stood several feet away, listening to the rest of their conversation. Evidently, they hadn't seen him yet.
"So you're escaping?" He asked, quirking an eyebrow, a smile tugging at his lips.
Twelve's eyes danced between the three girls, as if searching for something, before landing on the one that had addressed him first. His eyes widened a little at the 'I'll kill you' statement, but not enough to be noticeable. Her critical glare only made things worse.
With a shake of his head, he replied to her, attempting to warm her with a smile. "I wouldn't dream of it." He ignored the next line, taking it as some sort of mockery.
He then turned to a girl he recognised; Mora, he recalled, though one should never call her that. "If I had thought it was a tea party, I would've brought biscuits," he commented, almost managing to keep a straight face. "I overheard you talking about it, and thought maybe I could.. uh.. Join." He grinned, but then realised that his line could be taken the wrong way.
"I mean, join your escape attempt. Not like-" He sighed. "Never mind."
As he looked at Five, his eyes shone slightly. He had heard tale of the girl that had made over two hundred break out and riot attempts; a number he found impressive, to say the least - his count had a total of zero. He looked to Mora more in awe than anything else, though, as if she were only what the numerous scrutinising reports had commented about her. He knew nothing of her true personality.
7 didn't have a plan.. but she knew she wouldn't have a second chance.
