The cocoon of Bahamut was setting upon the realm, as Tiamat's
glowing Eyes had opened to watch over the souls of the fallen, and
the last of the remaining dragons to arrive met up at the Tree. The
eyes of the wooden dragon on the Tree had gone from a glossy black
to a brilliant glowing white, much like the flowers of the Tree
itself, as it seemed to begin telepathically speaking to the group,
with the voice of a matured dragoness.
"Twenty-one dragons to seal this gloom...
Twenty-one dragons shall prevent our doom....
Twenty-one dragons have answered the call...
Twenty-one dragons will save us all.............
Three of Fire. Three of Water. Three of Earth and three of Air.
Three of Light. Three of Darkness and three of
Nature............
...... You are those twenty-one dragons... and I... I am the great
wyrm who guards the souls of those who passed on... The one whose
Eyes watch over all of Vinnorea, over both the living and the
dead......
Zephie got up from her half sleeping spot and almost screeched "Who
stands-"
Delta interrupted Zephie "No way! Is it the real mother of dusk?"
He's been looking up to Tiamat since he was little and hearing her
for real made him surprised
She extended her claws “is this a mind trick? Is there a dragon
trying to prank us? It isn’t funny” she growled, jabbing the statue
with one serrated claw
“Don’t eat the tree!! But well, I do suppose you could call the
tree a friend...Tiamat is the tree, in a way.” Scarlett replied,
rather confused at the inedible = friend explanation
“The big dragon who does not like flying and the small dragon who
is loud said friend is not food, and I asked if trees were friends
because they are not food, and they said yes”
“Ummm....Care to explain?” Scarlett asked, now seriously rethinking
her life choices, looking at Delta and Zephie in utter confusion,
while Echo was too busy laughing at the scene before her.
