The Children of Dusk and Dawn

Twenty-one dragons to save us all...
Long ago, before the world came to be, two great beings scoured the endless night skies, searching for a place to call home. These two beings had come to be known as Bahamut, the Father of Dawn, and Tiamat, the Mother of Dusk. After years, even decades or centuries, of searching, they had finally found a planet of their own, which they had named Vinnorea. The two great wyrms had planted the Tree of Life at the world's center, and had entrusted the new world to their progeny, as Bahamut had placed Himself into an eternal slumber, a cocoon of burning fire taking His place in the sky, while Tiamat had placed Her soul into the Tree of Life, Her Eyes becoming the two moons in the sky, to watch over all the souls of the fallen. Seven of their eight offspring had traveled the newborn planet to find their own place in this world, having been given the authority to shape the terrain of their chosen domain and to create lesser wyrms, as well as various flora and fauna, giving rise to dragonkind. The eighth was not given this authority to shape the land or create life, as he was chosen to defend the Tree from any sort of threat. Envious of his brothers and sisters, he eventually got fed up with his position, challenging the Seven and even going as far as trying to uproot and destroy the Tree. As he did, however, the Father of Dawn and the Mother of Dusk had found out, as he was scorched by Bahamut's flaming cocoon, ridding him of both his eyesight and his strength, and he was cast down into the Tree's roots by Tiamat Herself. To this day, dragons refuse to speak of his name, referring to him as The Blind One, and the Tree is still healing from the wounds inflicted by him.
It's been many eons since The Blind One's banishment to his underground prison, even for dragons, who can live for thousands of years. The Seven and their descendants still rule over their respective lands, each having a distinct elemental magic that they are attuned to. But The Blind One seems to be slowly regaining his power......... There have been various natural disasters across all seven elemental domains, especially near where the Tree is located, and mystics fear that The Blind One may come back, power and strength fully regained, to destroy the Tree from underground, which will ultimately lead to the destruction of all life on Vinnorea, reducing it to a lifeless husk once more...... But there is a prophecy. Three young dragons from all seven of the elemental Clans will be chosen to find The Blind One. To vanquish him once and for all. And to save Vinnorea from destruction. And you....... You are one of the twenty-one dragons, chosen to save all of dragonkind.

- Try to post at least 3-4 sentences (short posts are allowed, but only if you can't think of anything)
- Violence is allowed, but don't go too overboard on the details
- You can swear, as long as you censor it
- Romance is allowed, but try not to focus too much on shipping your dragons with each other (Also, keep it PG-13, please!)
- Maximum amount of characters for 1 person is 4
- You leave the group chat, you leave the RP
- Please do not post if you are not going to sign up
- If you break the rules after you've been warned, I will ban you

Character-related rules:
- Your character must be between 110 and 700 years old (which would be the human equivalent to between a preteen (9 or 10) through "just became an adult" (18 or 19))
- Your character can have a seperate ability from their main elemental ability (ex. Since they are a fire dragon, they breathe fire, but they can also spit poison, or something along those lines), but this is completely optional
- Regarding the above rule, don't make your seperate abilities too OP (ex. You can electrify your claws or talk to animals, but you can't be immortal or have an ability that lets you have every single power ever)
- Once there are 3 dragons with the same element, you cannot choose that element
- Like I said in the general rules, don't be too OP. That means you can't do any undodgable attacks, dodge every single attack, or anything along those lines
- Mary Sues and Gary Stus are not allowed at all
- LGBTQ+ characters are allowed and welcomed
- This one is just clarification, but yes, Earth and Nature are seperate elements. The Earth element deals with rocks and the ground and that kinda thing, and Nature deals with the plant-related things

Appearance: a large burnt umber colour Ed dragon, with 1 pair of large wings, and raggedy edges along the membrane. She has orange stripes along her sides, that fade to red as they go from her neck to her tail. She has a club at the edge of her tail, and silver tusks. Her eyes are bright yellow with beady slits in the middle, and her claws are rough and dull from digging
Description: she is a headlong monster that never thinks about what she does. She loves to dig, and sleeps underneath the earth. She can resist heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and resist cold of up to -20 degrees Fahrenheit

Appearance: thin pale wyvern lavender dragon with strong, large feathered wings. Her eyes and curved horn is a darker purple while her underscales are sky blue. Has talons like a owl (three in front, one in back.) for grabbing prey from the ground.
Description: Prefers to use her Agility and speed to confuse prey, before finishing them off with either her sharp talons (if it's a animal) or her plasma blast (if it's a dragon.). Determined and cheerful, even though she looks like the quiet type

Additional ability: Temperature control, can control the temperature of any object within a certain distance of him
Appearance: Here
Description: Some would call him cold and heartless due to the way he acts around others, playing cruel pranks or disregarding other’s feelings or thoughts, but really he just prefers to be left alone. He occasionally plays said pranks when he is bored or just to get people to go away. Whenever he is trapped in a conversation he always acts oblivious and pretends he doesn’t care. He never tries to help anyone and will act very harshly in certain situations. Other than that, him opening up just shows he’s normal, maybe even soft.

Additional ability: She can shift between a humanoid and draconic form at will, although doing it too much drains quite a bit of energy.

Description: Sivalla is a bit of a rogue soul, always trying her best to stand out in a crowd. However, due to that, she constantly is getting into trouble. Usually, she can fight off whatever might have taken notice of her, but often times she'll need another dragon, like a sibling, to bail her out. She's a bit flirty at times, although usually it's to fluster other dragons and nothing more. Regarding friends, she'd rather die than see a friend die. Usually, she can be seen leaping in front of an attack to defend a friend from it.
