Fortem leaped in, using Bite on the conkeldurr who had hit Yung. Leaping back before the pokemon could land a hit, he landed on a stone-edge platform and leaped onto the ampharos, using rock throw. He was trying to get better at move combos and interesting ways to use them before all this madness broke out, but he supposed now would be a fine time to practice.

Audax shrugged. "I care more about getting neutral pokemon to safety. It should come before any battle." He stated his thoughts, relieved to not be lying, and relieved that he actually believed it. Maybe he was a decent pokemon after all... His statement might have surprised the shiny glaceon, but he payed no mind to it. After all, he had to make good on his word. Not wanting to waste more time, he bounded into the fray.

After lots of thunder waves, volt switches, crunches and take-downs, clamor found himself in front of the absol once again. Oh, of course she was the one to speak, one of those murdering republican knights! They were hurting the citizens more than the republicans, and they were supposed to be ruling! He sprang at her once again, quickly slamming a paw down and using thunderwave.

He didn’t my know whoever they were, but if they weren’t sided with anyone, then he respects that. What was the point of all of this useless fighting? Revenge? It was all so stupid.

Xatina cried out, feeling her muscles seize up temporarially. He had definetly gotten stronger since the last time she had fought him. But that didn't mean she would give up. Before he could attempt to finish her off, or even back away, Xatina shot a Dark Pulse, aimed straight for his face. "That'll...teach you dirty Rebels what happens when you stir conflict in Lumina!"

The Ampharos lurched forward with a Thunder Punch while the Conkeldurr repeated its Dynamic Punch. They were holding nothing back...no tactics, no synergy with each other

“Yeah, well, both sides have done bad things to the other.” he said. He thought about both of the top generals being assassinated. “Both sides have done bad things.” He used quick attack, going into the crowd, confusing about 7 different pokémon, then came back and fought someone that was getting a bit too close to some of the Pokémon in his opinion.

Fortem leaped to dodge the thunder punch, but it still hit his tail, leaving it crooked and gray with ash. Growling, he rode a sideways stone edge into the ampharos's face, and leaped off it to swipe at the conkeldurr.

A good choice. Audax nodded as he ran in, trying to find good pokemon he knew, like Fortem or Emerald or Remus to lend a hand. Thea would be good too... he raced in the school's direction.

Clamor would have been hurling insults if he could speak. Instead, he brushed off his face before diving back in to battle. He wouldn't retreat! Using takedown to approach and dodge, he finally slammed into the absol knight while using crunch simultaneously. A furious gaze was plastered to his face.

Winter shook his head, a stray hair falling over his eye. He pushed it away again. "I don't wanna pick a side." He muttered, remembering his training and lifelong mission. "I can't. This is useless, all this fighting, killing innocent civilians on both sides...for what? Democracy? Fairness for all is a noble goal, sure...but why sink to the point of murder to get there?"

"Then we're allies..." He said to Riptide with an approving nod. He grinned at Winter. "You've got guts. But either way, you can count on me as an ally. Brave lad." He ruffled Winter's fur, and was immediately then leapt on by Emerald, hugging him.

Fortem
Yung threw an Aura Sphere at the Ampharos, both attacks knocked out the Ampharos. The Conkeldurr went and attacked again with Dynamic Punch.

The school was fairly quiet...as though nothing was going on outside.

Xatina was thrown back by the crunch. She struggled to her feet, teeth grit. She wasn't going to go down, not like this. She summoned all her strength. Even if he did defeat her, Xatina wasn't going to let him go without a scratch. She charged forward with Megahorn, putting the remainders of her strength into it. "I'm not going down without a fight!"

Riptide sighed as he kicked two pokémon that were attacking each other, then jumped, jumping on other Pokémon’s heads, making them all confused, looking up. He went back to the front of the suburbs and fought off a few Pokémon, then went back to Winter and Remus.

“I want you two to just go and pack whatever you need.” He said to Emerald and Winter. “After that...you may go to the bubble place and have fun or whatever, I’ll round up some peeps on our side and we’ll go from there.” Remus stated. “I’ve been ready to move at a moments notice for some time now but...I can’t move from here at the moment. I’m not going to allow the fighting to reach the suburbs.”

Xatina fell back, barely on her feet. She glanced at the other knights, breathing heavy and irregular. "I'm..fine. There are others that need your help much more than I do." She waved her head dismisevley. "Seriously, there's no need!" Xatina wanted to end this fight on her terms, not some Republican's.

Fortem was punched, but managed to keep his footing as he used stone edge to knock the conkeldurr off balance. Things were looking in their favour now, and they had a good chance of winning.

"Thea?" Audax shouted into the mostly empty halls, his voice echoing through the large, open space. Hopefully he could get her to help in time...

The absol fighting without help would make things easier for Clamor (though a part of him wanted to test his mettle against more...). He was struck by megahorn, but positioned himself to get hit oh his sturdy shoulder, a place that wouldn't hurt too badly. He used the momentum from the attack like he had in training, and fell back onto the absol, using crunch on her horn.

With a blast from Psychic, the Conkeldurr was knocked out. Whatever pokemon they can rescue now...their path was clear. “What are you going to do now Fortem?” Yung asked over the roars of battle, as they rescued

"You mean... in general?" Fortem asked, in between breaths, as he heaved a cufant to the side of the plaza. "I don't know... I though I was going to help the loyalists, and I didn't see anything wrong with the current leaders..." He paused, taking time to catch his breath. "But I don't stand for this," He gestured towards the fighting knights. This wasn't what the guard was built for.

Audax nodded, out of breath. "We have to do something!" He exclaimed. This was a bold statement for Audax. Though he was usually indecisive, this was one thing he knew was the right choice.

As he and Xatina battled, Clamor noticed the pokemon being struck down all over the field, filling him with more anger. A twinge of guilt hit him for a moment, but that was just the price that had to be payed for their voices to be heard. They were sending a message...

"I see...are you insinuating that you...might switch to a neutral stance?" Yung said, choosing his words carefully. If Fortem did decide to take neutral, he'll be able to do much more to support him...but...

"I don't know... probably..." Fortem was still trying to figure out what faction his beliefs aligned with... but neutral seemed to be the closest for now. He did believe in tempest's leadership, but wasn't willing to shed blood for it, be it his or others'. And he didn't like how most knights were acting... which was a little hypocritical, but never mind that.

Audax nodded. Thea was a pokemon he could trust; besides, she said that she was neutral before, like him. "A high ranking member of both sides were killed, and each side blames the other," He stated. "It's a little weird that it happened simultaneously... almost as if it were planned."

Winter nodded, giving a glance to Emerald. He hadn't brought much with him to Luminia, just a few trinkets, but he figured packing some food may be nice, as well as the sparkly star he'd left behind

I'm going to a home that I have prepared down at the earth again. It's there that I want to figure out what to do...but it's your choice, I'm going to leave that to you." He said.

"It is suspicious...no?" Thea said quietly. "But unfortunately...there's no leads to suspects. On top of that, the most likely explanation would again be that someone from both groups murdered another. It's hard to tell.
