Pokemon: Heaven's Duality
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Pokemon: Heaven's Duality“Mm...the troubles of the kingdom...I know. I see them...I hear about them...” She sighed and put her hood back up. “At the same time...I just want to have some fun...”
Clamor
There was just a lot of talking amongst themselves...a lot of people were just talking...something still seemed off though
Riptide
Suddenly, the Rebel made their way out of the area. Just quickly... and the knight did too.
Clamor concentrates on observing the situation: He listened carefully to hear the conversations, and watched for strange happenings.
Riptide would then overhear some knights talking to each other. “One of our generals was assassinated...”
Audax
“...We’ll see each other again probably. And...tell no one of this encounter.” She warned. “Not the Loyalists. Not the Republicans.”
Clamor
Various things were being said....the most notable being. “Did you hear that one of our higher ranks got murdered...?”
"No need to worry, I won't snitch." It was true. Audax was neutral, and sharing the information would give one side some advantage. "Stay safe out there." With a flick of his tail, Audax marched away, before realising he forgot to ask about the star and why it was given to him. Oh well... maybe another time, if he did happen to meet the glaceon again. He put the thoughts aside before strolling through the suburbs, gossip beginning to make it's way into his large ears.
Clamor would have asked tons more if he could speak. Instead, he stood frozen, mouth gaping, until the expression on his face turned almost murderous. Who was killed, and did Clamor know them??? Who had done this!? Who needed to pay!?
Emerald jumped down below. Given how absurdly large the bubble was, they both got some intense wobbles and squeaks from the bubble
Clamor + Fortem + Audax
The blame was swiftly placed onto the Loyalists...everyone began making their way to the plaza
The reverse was true for the Loyalists, they placed the blame of the general’s death on the Republicans...a similar force made their way to the plaza
All
Everyone else would begin to see the effects of what was going on...the Republicans...the Loyalists...all marching towards the central plaza

Audax heard gossip from both sides, placing blame on the other. Of course, this would only fuel the rift between them... where had luminia gone so wrong that this had to happen? Sighing, he let his feet guide him to the plaza, where a crowd of pokemon was gathering. Being a lover of knowledge, Audax needed to know what was happening.
Those loyalists! Those scoundrels! What were they doing, killing a pokemon just trying to speak? Clamor didn't doubt the information, after all, it fit with his previous opinions on the loyalists, and it was something he.. was actually eager to believe. More of a reason to be doing what he was doing. He unsheathed his claws as he followed some other republicans to the plaza, eager to slash something.
Once the two groups met in the plaza...the arguing started...there was no coherent debate. There was no structure. It was abuse hurled back and forth between one another. Some shaking their fists and paws angrily at each other, some even preparing to cast their attacks.
Something happened to silence both sides completely. The cause was none other then Dainn the Gallade walking out at the forefront of the Loyalists...as well as a Garchomp for the Republicans. One of the leaders of the Republicans...Jessiah.
“I’ve come...to address and ask of the events last night.” Dainn’s commanding voice echoed throughout the plaza. “What on earth was that...when one of my most trusted men ended up dead outside?”
“I could ask the same of you, you vagabond!” Jessiah spat on the ground. “One of my treasured men...my family...they’re dead! Care to give all of us a bloody explanation?!” The Republicans roared in agreement.
Dainn breathed in...and out. “I have had no idea that one of your high ranks was murderer also. You have my sincerest apologies...however...was that reason to murder one of mine own?”
“Don’t you dare play dumb...you instigated, you got what you deserve...” Jessiah shouted. “Our home, our families, our plight! You never listen!@
Dainn shrugged. “I had hoped it wouldn’t have come to this...the civilians...all the innocents among this...” A sharp gaze in his eyes as he eyed Jessiah. “It seems as though we have no choice but to come to blows.”
Jessiah lifted an arm up. “A revolution...a civil war, if that’s what it takes to save our home, then so be it! Charge! No mercy!”
And so it begun...Luminia’s civil war begun, right there and then
Winter
Emerald looked up. It seems as though he had heard the noise too...he briefly stopped his bounces to listen
Fortem's eyes went wide as he was thrust suddenly into battle. No no no no, this wasn't supposed to happen! Why couldn't things go back the way they were before? Tempest had been a fine leader... Fortem was fighting a republican and his own mind at the same time. He rock throwed and stone edged frantically, tears blurring his vision as he struggled to console himself about the fate of his lifelong home.
The thought about wanting to live through historic times hit Audax again, at precisely the wrong moment. It wasn't supposed to be this! In the chaos of battle, Audax was slammed to the ground by a republican thinking him for a loyalist... which he was pretending to be. Struggling out of her grip, Audax bolted off to the side. He couldn't just watch... but what else could he do? He wouldn't be able to alert the knights... they were loyalist, obviously. Audax looked around the crowd for familliar faces, namely a specific lycanroc, a riolu, a zoroark or a glaceon - to ask for help.
Clamor sprang into battle instantly. This was what his claws were made to do! A silent roar built in his throat as he attacked like a whirlwind, viciously pummeling the loyalists. Revenge was sweet. He was doing this to avenge his fallen comrade, but... a small part of him wanted to be recognised too, and knew that. The thought fueled his thunderous attacks as he unleashed all the power he'd earned for himself onto the battlefield.

“Damn it all!” Emerald fell to his knees. “Why was my gut feeling right...? What on earth happened out there...?” He looked at Winter. “Listen Winter, we need to find out info, quickly. Before we can escape...I want to know what started this conflict.” All the cheeriness in his eyes had all but gone, replaced by a serious, knight-like gaze. He was determined to find out what was going on...if they didn’t know, then it would be impossible to solve the situation.
The suburbs was currently in an organised chaos...in a way. There were many that had rushed to their shelters. There was barricades being set up...there were people helping each other all around.
Though...Remus and Yung both watched the battle ahead with a sad look. They had hoped it wouldn’t come to this but...they knew
Knight clashed with Rebel...and vice versa...there were no fatal casualties yet, as both forces moved as one against each other. The coordination proved live-saving...regardless, the battles were being pushed towards the Castle of Light, the Anthian District and Sleipnir Park
The Snowstar Priestess looked at the battle with a horrified gaze from a distance...
In the midst of the fighting, Audax spotted the shiny glaceon and sprinted up to her. He stayed silent. There were no words to be spoken about this. He was curious to see what she would do, though... "Do you see?" He spoke finally, loudly this time, his words tinted with sadness.
Clamor slammed a amaura knight into the wall of a building and watched with satisfaction as he collapsed, his legs buckling. Suddenly, a streak of white caught his eye... the absol from yesterday! Blinded by his ambition and pride and flaws, Clamor raced after her, hungry for more revenge. This was his way of speaking, these slashes and moves.
