Cat: Pikekit
Personality: A rather jumpy little kit, with an adventurous spirit. Pikekit is contantly seen wandering off, away from the nursery, causing Ferretfire to stress and has grown irritated with her on many occasions. She's the opposite of Milkkit, her brother, like night and day. Milk being calm and friendly, with Pikekit having a sharp tongue and a stubborn streak
Backstory: Pikekit and Milkkit were born in the WindClan to a proud mother, Ferretfire. While the kits can cause trouble, they live in a loving environment, and are sure to be fantastic warriors in the future

Other: Hope you don't mind that I added a bit for Milkkit

Cat: Eaglepaw
Personality: A white ball of energy with an optimistic view of the future. Being in RiverClan, Eaglepaw takes pride in her skill in the water, and her graceful ability to catch fish. She looks up to her deputy, Tornspeck, who is also her mentor, with admiration, and hopes she may have such a high status herself one day
Backstory: Eaglepaw always had a superiority complex, from the moment she was first told of the glory of RiverClan...how they were the only Clan to catch fish, how they were the only Clan with no fear of the water...and she boasts about it often, even irritating her own Clanmates

Cat: Mudpaw
Personality: Mudpaw is an introvert. He's incredibly smart, and picks up on training quickly, but lacks confidence, so he lags behind in training, despite knowing everything perfectly fine. He's very friendly, and plays fine when prompted, but he's usually found sleeping in his den when not preforming apprentice duties
Backstory: Mudpaw was born in a litter of kits, who were happy and healthy, and Mudpaw was just as social as the other kits. However, they were born in Leaf-fall, and as leaf-bare came along greencough wiped out most of his litter, shaking poor Mudkit (If you want, one of the other apprentices can be his surviving sibling) from then on, he lacked confidence in just about everything.

Cat: Shadestream
Personality: Shadestream is a young deputy, but a good one that wants the best for her Clan. She's naturally anxious to get everything right, a sort of perfectionist. Everything must be perfect before she is satisfied. From her bedding, to the patrol schedules, to the way Dewypaw preforms her attacking and hunting moves. She's constantly on the lookout for attack, and is constantly suspicious of the other Clans, anxious to keep her Clan safe
Backstory: From kithood, Shadestream was the oldest and most bossy of her litter. All her games had set rules that bored her siblings, and she was constantly the leader of the pack, encouraging the other kits to go on little adventures. As an apprentice, she practiced constantly, even after training was over, making sure she got the moves right before even setting paw in the den. Her loyalty as a warrior and friendship with Owlfeather as young cats gave her the position as ThunderClan deputy

Cat: Yellowswipe
Personality: Yellowswipe has a rather cheery personality and is rarely seen without a smile. He does his best to keep his clan happy and well as his family. He can be a rather blind sighted to his own wishes and needs as he focuses on others. He keeps any negative emotions bottled up until it eventually bottles over. He can end up yelling at pretty much anyone in the vicinity when this happens.
Backstory: Yellowswipe was born to Creekivy and Copperfoot during a rather cool, sunny day in Newleaf. Much to his parents shock, and maybe disappointment? He was born an only kit, and the two found it would stay that way. Yellowkit didn't let it bother him too much however as he enjoyed the attention his parents gave him. This led him to develop a bit of a punk attitude as he entered apprenticeship. he was confident and cocky and generally just a jerk. The attitude didn't stay long however, as his mentor made sure he knew the attitude would not be tolerated. He learned to become more gentle and caring and it's a lesson he's held tight since the passing of his mentor.

Cat: Brushpaw
Personality: Brushpaw can be a bit much, not due to any bit of energy but rather because of his entitled attitude. He believes himself to be the best among all his siblings and he does his best to remind everybody of this at every given moment. He struggles to find a place in the clan, with Falconstar being his mother, and his sister being a medicine cat apprentice. He can be very aggressive when he feels like he's being insulted in any way. His is very prideful and doesn't know how to handle being knocked down a peg. He has a softspot for his younger sibling, Slowkit
Backstory: Brushpaw always knew he was special from the moment he could first think. After all he was the most handsome and clearly the most intelligent. Brushkit would make sure he always got to play as leader in their games and would take charge at any given moment. However when they were apprenticed, he slowly felt less important. His littermate was able to become a medicine cat apprentice and was clearly better learned. Brushpaw has struggled to come to terms with this and even now he still struggles to keep up a confident act.

Cat: Muddybird
Personality: Muddybird is a rather tired cat. She is quick to go with the flow and can often be found lazing about. She is considering becoming either a permanent queen or an elder as she doesn't wish to return to warrior duties. It isn't that she doesn't love her clan it's just more that she feels that her efforts won't be worth much in the end. She's perfectly content speaking with the youth instead.
Backstory: Muddybird had always dreamed of having a nice big family ever since she was young. She made an attempt to quickly breeze through her apprenticeship and move on with her life, but it just caused her to be sloppy. She ended up becoming a warrior later than normal. She didn't really care much however.
Additional Description: Muddybird has a tear in her ear after a particularly rough encounter with a large bird.

Cat: Duckstar
Personality: Duckstar is rather antsy and not too self-confident. She often wonders how she ended up rising to the position of leader. The she-cat is very timid but won't hesitate to speak her mind if anyone threatens her clan. She is a fierce fighter and will defend all but herself.
Backstory: Duckstar never knew her father, she barely got to know her mother. When Duckkit was 3 moons old her mother fell in love with a Riverclan cat and left Duckkit behind to join the clan. She was raised by one of the queens until she was old enough to become an apprentice. Now Duckpaw, the she-cat would prove herself strong enough to become a warrior after just 3 moons. Through hardwork and determination she caught the attention of her leader, and later became a deputy. She and her leader grew close until a rough case of greencough hit and Duckstar was left to lead the clan. She never found out what happened to her mother, nor does she wish to find out. Duckstar struggles with self-esteem and doesn't want to make things worse, which she is afraid is what will happen if she tries to find out. She is content where she's at now.

Cat: Sparrowstar
Personality: Sparrowstar is mainly kind and caring for her clan. She's worried that one day Riverclan will fall under her leadership so she's trying everything to keep Riverclan safe. Not afraid to fight for what's right. Has a fear of Thunder roads
Backstory: Sparrowkit never knew her farther, Goldgoose (Dear generator, it's a very good name) so she always looked up to her mother, Mothrun. While she was a apprentice, Mothrun was killed by a accident involving a monster and a prey that ran across the thunder road, which deeply saddened her but gave her the motivation to try hard and become a warrior that Riverclan would be proud to have. This caught the leader's attention and landed her in Deputy. Few moons later the leader was suddenly killed by a fox, making Sparrowstar a leader. She was unprepared but was willing to keep Riverclan thriving

Cat: JuniperPaw
Personality: JuniperPaw is a bit careless and often acts before she thinks. she's still got more training to go, and there's room for improvement on her actions
Backstory: Juniperkit was already a troublesome Kit. She loved to get into the action and anything that moved, she'll whack it. when she learned her mom was her mentor, she had made major improvements on her 'chasing moving things' but she's still a troublemaker.

Cat: Applefur
Personality: Applefur is one of the warmest, softest toms a cat could ever meet. Soft-spoken and gentle, he's a bit shy but isn't afraid to speak up when he must. He would love an apprentice, but even if he doesn't get one, he still loves to befriend the younger Thunderclan cats and help them in any way he can. While Applefur is no leader, he is a diligent and loyal follower, putting his all into any task sent his way. The tom doesn't like fighting as much as he likes building, but he certainly is capable of defending himself. His broad paws make him an expert climber and swimmer, giving him unusual but helpful talents within the clan.
Backstory: Applefur was born and raised in Thunderclan alongside his sister, Ripplespeck. The two had always been close, with Ripplespeck being much more bold and outspoken than he.
Additional Description: Applefur has yellow-green eyes.
Other: Lmk if there's anything you'd like me to change!

Cat: Greenpaw
Personality: Greenpaw is a very steady she-cat. Dependable and trustworthy, Greenpaw strongly believes honesty is the best policy and tells the truth whenever possible. She is a hard worker who is self-assured, but remains humble. She is willing to help out in any way, no matter the task, and she does so with a smile. While she isn't the strongest fighter or sharpest hunter, she's well-rounded with no clear weaknesses. However, her very serious demeanor doesn't click with other cats her age, and she doesn't have very many friends.
Backstory: Born the kit of Twilightstem, she and her father are stuck together like glue. The companionship she lacks with other apprentices she makes up for with Twilightstem.
Additional Description: Greenpaw has striking dark green eyes (hence her name).
Other: Lmk if I need to change anything!
Username: Ralsei
Cat: Sharpkit
Personality: Sharpkit looks up to the medicine cat, Tornspeck, a lot. Not being much of a fighter, despite his name, he is clumsy and feels insecure about his ability to become a warrior - or to do anything, really. An anxious kit, he often worries about his sister, Raccoonkit, and his greatest fear is that he will do something to get someone else hurt. He would be fine with being either a medicine cat or a warrior, but he's nervous at failing at both of those things. Even so, he wants to do his best to serve his clan.
Backstory: Sharpkit and Raccoonkit are littermates, and he adores both his sister and his mother, Muddybird. He understands his mother's reluctance to go back to being a warrior, especially because of his own nervousness, and he wishes he could stay with her as a kit for a little longer.
Additional Description: Sharpkit has blue-grey eyes.
Other: Lmk if there's anything I need to change!

Cat: Falconstar
Personality: The Shadowclan leader is a bold and stoic cat. Not one to be pushed around, she is incredibly tough and strong-willed. However, she also has a good heart, and believes that being honorable is more important than pride. She is often the first to get defensive, but also the first to lend a paw to any cat in need. She doesn't judge a cat based on their past, rather, she watches to see if their actions match their words. Falconstar despises disloyalty, but she does her best not to let her personal feelings get in the way of being just and fair.
Backstory: Falconstar grew up as an only child in Shadowclan. Raised by a single mother, Freezefall, she was very independent as an apprentice and a warrior. Her closest friends were her mate, Firspeckle, and his best friend, Fleetflame. Firspeckle was killed by a badger only a few moons after the birth of her second litter, leaving her alone once more. While she misses him greatly, she has been able to move on and continue leading the clan well. Falconstar is a kind and nurturing mother to her two litters. She is exceptionally proud of both Darkpaw and Brushpaw for the hard work they put into the clan, and she believes that Slowkit will be just as skilled as the two of them are. While she isn't approving of Brushpaw's attitude, she knows that one day he'll grow out of it, just like his father did, so she is very patient with him.
Additional Description: Falconstar has sharp grey eyes.
Other: Falconstar's first litter is Darkpaw and Brushpaw. Her second litter is Slowkit. Their father, Firspeckle, is dead.
Cat: Rapidear
Personality: Rapidear is a jovial, somewhat impulsive cat. Though she can be a bit much to handle, she is extremely likeable and charismatic. Extroverted and energetic, she runs the clan with a seemingly limitless energy, rising early in the morning and one of the last ones to turn in at night. The deputy's mind moves faster than her paws sometime; while she's a bit of a clumsy fighter, she is a mastermind when it comes to strategy, and she often finds innovative solutions to the clan's problems. Rapidear gets bouts of anxiety and restlessness when she is unable to figure something out, and she faces burnout a lot when she overworks herself. Nevertheless, she is a dependable and kind-hearted deputy who wants nothing but the best for her clan.
Backstory: Rapidear was born into Shadowclan and raised by her parents, Russetfall and Springpool. While her father is long deceased, her mother resides in the elders den. Despite being exceptionally busy with her duties, Rapidear always makes time to sit with the elders and glean as much wisdom from them as she can.
Additional Description: Rapidear has yellow eyes.
Other: Rapidear's mother is Russetfall, she has no siblings, no kits, no mate, and her father Springpool is dead.
Cat: Pineblaze
Personality: Fiery and dramatic, Pineblaze is quite the medicine cat. With a flair for drama and a love of being in the spotlight, she is surprisingly arrogant and full of confidence. She adores attention, but doesn't try too hard to attract it. While she can appear to be nothing more than obnoxious, Pineblaze is also an incredibly selfless cat. She works tirelessly to help her patients and the other cats of the clan and dismisses any praise as she is simply doing her duty. The medicine cat is excellent at teaching as well, and is often called on to aid apprentices who are having trouble grasping a concept. She is very proud of her apprentice, Darkpaw, and likes to embarrass her pupil in front of her peers.
Backstory: Pineblaze grew up outside of the clan with many siblings, some biological and some adopted, making her the rowdy personality she is today. Despite her harsher background, she is optimistic and grateful for the life she's lived both within Shadowclan and before it. She joined the clan when she was around 7 moons old, called by Starclan to replace the medicine apprentice who had suddenly died just before her arrival. Pineblaze misses her mentor, Greywish, dearly.
Additional Description: Pineblaze has amber eyes.
Other: Pineblaze's parents, Juno and Spritz, are both rogues. Of her siblings, two - Hera and Io - are rogues, one - Skittles - is a kittypet, and two - Flip and Sandy - are loners. She has no mate or kits.
Cat: Darkpaw
Personality: Darkpaw is very much an introvert. Terrified of failure, she also has a significant amount of anxiety regarding her role as a future medicine cat, despite her love for her work. Analytical and practical, she enjoys experimenting and researching medicine and documenting her findings. One of her biggest dreams is to discover something that will advance their knowledge of medicine and be used for generations. Another reason for her anxiety stems not from her insecurities, but from her slight attraction to Hollykit, who is only a moon younger than her and ready to be apprenticed himself. She's unsure what to do about it, but Falconstar's leadership leads her to be hopeful that the rules about medicine cats would be liable to change. Darkpaw's anxiety means that she has a hard time connecting with other cats, no matter who they are. She has good relationships with both her mother and her mentor, but she's not as close with her brother, Brushpaw, and her sister, Slowkit. Darkpaw misses being able to do everything with Brushpaw, and she feels like it's her fault that her brother has taken on such an arrogant attitude. She wishes that she could spend more time with him, but her duties keep her from him a lot of the time. While she loves Slowkit dearly, she wasn't able to get to know her younger sister very well thanks to already being an apprentice when Slowkit was born.
Backstory: Darkpaw carries a lot of grief for her father, since the quiet tom was a great source of comfort for her when she was little. Despite this, she does her best to move on and stay positive.
Additional Description: Darkpaw has deep brown eyes.
Other: Darkpaw's mother is Falconstar, and her father, Firspeckle, is dead. Her littermate is Brushpaw and her sister is Slowkit. She has a slight crush on Hollykit.
Cat: Fleetflame
Personality: A hotheaded, no-nonsense cat, Fleetflame is a warrior one does not want to cross. He is impatient, unsympathetic, and bossy. On the other paw, there is no cat more loyal, more selfless, and more courageous than he. As a 'paw, he was more impulsive, but as time passed, he grew out of it. However, much of that growth was also part of his friendship with Firspeckle, a much quieter, but also much less reckless tom. Now, Fleetflame is a dedicated (if at times annoying) warrior with a much more sensible nature. He remains very close to the leader, Falconstar, but has expressed a strong desire to never become leader.
Backstory: Raised in Shadowclan, Fleetflame grew up with his best friend, Firspeckle. The two were closer than anything until Firspeckle's death, which hit the surviving tom hard. After that, Fleetflame became decidedly less impulsive. A few moons following the tom's death, Fleetflame found two young kits who had been abandoned on Shadowclan territory and decided to take them in as his own. He loves Hollykit and Dawnkit with every hair on his pelt, and he shares the same devotion to his apprentice, Mudpaw (even if he's less obvious about it).
Additional Description: Fleetflame has burning amber eyes.
Other: Fleetflame's parents, Aspenwing and Needleprick are both dead. His best friend, Firspeckle (Falconstar's mate) is also dead. His adoptive son is Hollykit and adoptive daughter is Dawnkit. His apprentice is Mudpaw.
Cat: Losttail
Personality: Usually seen grinning about something, Losttail is a surprisingly jovial cat. He enjoys playing harmless pranks on all of the cats in the clan, and is generally very charismatic and likeable. He keeps the clan lighthearted, raising their spirits whenever possible. Losttail can often be found in the medicine den, cheering up any patients he finds there. Overall, he is well-known as the most entertaining cat in Shadowclan. Hidden away however, is a striking hopelessness. Despite his obvious attempts to be optimistic, Losttail lived through a lot of trauma in the past, which left behind some nasty scars, both physical and mental. While he's not quite depressed, he's also terribly lonely.
Backstory: Losttail's name stems from two unfortunate incidents. The first, being that he was brought into the clan because he was lost in the forest, wandering as a kit. He didn't know who his parents were or what had happened to them. The tail suffix came when a monster ran over it, shattering the end until only a stump was able to be saved. While both incidents were sad, Losttail doesn't really mind his name at all. The warrior has also been quite a bit taken with his denmate, Webstem, for some time now, adding a little more spring to his step than usual.
Additional Description: Losttail has light blue eyes.
Other: Losttail's parents are unknown. He has no known siblings, no kits, and no mate. He is romantically interested in Webstem.
Cat: Fenneltuft
Personality: Fenneltuft is a very simple tom. He's not hot-headed, but he isn't a pushover, either. The former warrior is just a kind, rather plain-seeming cat who most would overlook. What most don't bother to find out is that he also happens to be incredibly clever. Observant with a hidden playful side, Fenneltuft uses the fact that cats underestimate him to his advantage. Although his warrior days are over, he still enjoys a good challenge, and often helps Falconstar by giving her advice. While he used to be more energetic, the tragedy of losing three of his four kits left him much more tired than before.
Backstory: Fenneltuft lived a long and happy life in the clan, alongside his mate, Oaksky. Sadly, there was a harsh leaf-bare following Oaksky's kitting, and only one of their kits - now an apprentice, Mudpaw - survived. His grief, along with his mate's, combined with their age prompted them to retire as elders. He is incredibly proud of his son, but wishes that he could do more to help Mudpaw.
Additional Description: Fenneltuft has light green eyes.
Other: Fenneltuft's parents are long deceased. His mate is Oaksky. His living son is Mudpaw; Mudpaw's littermates, Robinkit, Mosskit, and Stripekit, are all dead.
Cat: Oaksky
Personality: A beautiful she-cat, Oaksky is soft and sweet and gentle. Never much of a good warrior, she often wonders if she should have been a medicine cat; however, she loved her mate, Fenneltuft, too much to give him up. Oaksky, while a weak (and reluctant) fighter, is an expert tracker. She also, if given a solid enough pep talk beforehand, is an excellent spy, who has been key to many decisive Shadowclan victories in the past. However, her mellow demeanor meant that she spent much more of her time helping queens, until it was her turn to raise kits. Though she misses her deceased kits greatly, she puts all of her energy into raising Mudpaw into the best cat he can be.
Backstory: Oaksky lost her mother and sister when she was a kit, and it made her extremely shy as an apprentice. She soon fell in love with the surprisingly quick-witted Fenneltuft, and they spent many happy moons together before her first litter was born. Through a hard leaf-bare, only she and her son, Mudpaw, pulled through. She and her mate decided to retire once Mudpaw became an apprentice, although she still helps out all the time around camp.
Additional Description: Oaksky has soft blue eyes.
Other: Oaksky's parents are long deceased. Her mate is Fenneltuft, and her son is Mudpaw. Her deceased kits are Robinkit, Stripekit, and Mosskit. Her sister, Ashkit, died not long after Oaksky's birth.
Cat: Russetfall
Personality: Russetfall is a very sweet older she-cat. By far the eldest member of Shadowclan, she often gets lost in tales of the past. Though her strength is beginning to fade, she has a calming, steady aura about her that suggests there is still a lot of life in her. The former warrior is respectful and intuitive, knowing what to say and when. Thanks to this, she isn't a big talker, unless it comes to stories.
Backstory: Russetfall lived a long life in Shadowclan alongside her mate, Snowfoot, and daughter, Rapidear. She misses her mate a lot, but she is unbelievably proud of Rapidear and supports her with everything in her. The elder has also become closer friends with Fenneltuft and Oaksky, and treats them as though they were her siblings.
Additional Description: Russetfall has one yellow eye and one extremely blurry eye, barely showing a yellow hue.
Other: Russetfall's parents are long deceased. Her brother, Tawnywhisker, is also dead. Her mate, Snowfoot, died a few seasons ago. Her daughter is Rapidear.
Cat: Slowkit
Personality: Slowkit is a very cautious, sensible kit. Unlike most, she keeps herself out of trouble and is generally well-behaved. She is not, however, quiet; she is actually quite a chatterbox, and she enjoys learning new things. Slowkit constantly asks questions of her clanmates, but stops if she finds she is bothering them. She looks up to her siblings, Brushpaw especially, and she sees the more gentle side of him. Slowkit hopes to become a deputy someday, to be as good at running things as her mother is.
Backstory: Slowkit was born into the clan only five moons ago, and she barely knew her father before his death. She still misses him terribly, but she loves her remaining family very much and is grateful to have them.
Additional Description: Slowkit has pretty brown eyes.
Other: Slowkit's mother is Falconstar; her father, Firspeckle, is dead. Her older siblings (not littermates) are Brushpaw and Darkpaw.
Cat: Hollykit
Personality: A lively young kit, he is capricious and silly, while also a bit shy about it. Hollykit is very smart, picking things up almost immediately after learning them. The kit is easygoing and easy to talk to, and works hard when needed, although he can be a bit lazy. However, he finds that his interests lie in medicine, and experiments; while he would also love being a warrior, Hollykit feels as though he'd serve the clan better as a healer. The catch is, there's already a medicine cat apprentice. However, he is unfazed by this, and is eager to begin learning things as soon as possible. While his only real friend is his sister, Dawnkit, he's completely fine with this, and cherishes his littermate dearly.
Backstory: Hollykit was abandoned by his parents about a quarter-moon by being found by his adoptive father, Fleetflame. He loves his father a lot, and is entirely devoted to protecting both him and his sister, Dawnkit.
Additional Description: Hollykit has bright blue eyes.
Other: Hollykit's parents are unknown. His adoptive father is Fleetflame. His sister is Dawnkit.
Cat: Dawnkit
Personality: Dawnkit wants to be leader someday. Ambitious and impossible to embarrass, she finds great joy in trying everything she can, even if she ends up failing miserably. However, she is a promising kit, already showing talent for combat. She also has a way with words, making her a kit that most everyone is friends with and likes, even if she can be a bit airheaded at times. Dawnkit fiercely loves her brother, Hollykit, defending him above all else, even though she wishes he would be a bit less lazy and a bit more keen on making more friends. She has a good, kind, heart, and is open to anyone, believing that everyone deserves forgiveness.
Backstory: Dawnkit, along with her littermate Hollykit, was abandoned by her parents until Fleetflame adopted them. She is about ready to be apprenticed, and hopes that she will be paired with a strong warrior to learn from.
Additional Description: Dawnkit has pretty golden eyes.
Other: Dawnkit's parents are unknown. Her adoptive father is Fleetflame. Her littermate is Hollykit.
Yellowswipe was eagerly trotting around the camp, his tail held high. He had just woken up, and it was such a beautiful day. Casting his gaze towards the apprentice den he briefly thought back on his own apprentice days. Pausing for a brief moment he lightly flicked his tail. He hoped that maybe someday he could pass own what he had learned from his mentor. Every lesson learned had ingrained itself in his mind, and he greatly valued the memories. With a small smile he nodded, he wanted to help others feel the same way. Looking towards the exit he flicked an ear. Should he do some early morning hunting, would he be able to come back in time for any official patrols. He didn't want to miss it, in case he ended up on one of the patrols. He shook his head deciding to stay in the camp for now.
Muddybird slowly stretched awake as the sun filtered through the den. Letting out a satisfied breath she turned to her kits. Sitting up, she nudged Sharpkit and Racoonkit. She supposed the two would like to be woken up, likely wanting to make the most of their day. She gave a soft smile as she watched the small kits. Only 2 moons old and they already seemed much bigger, shaking her head she turned her gaze to the den entrance. It seemed like the rest of the clan was also waking up she noted, her ears flicking softly as she picked up various noises.
Brushpaw watched Mudpaw through narrowed eyes. Still asleep huh. Shaking his head he stalked over to the apprentice, batting a paw towards the sleeping cat. "Wake up." He half-hissed. He didn't quite wait to see the apprentice's response. Brushpaw didn't have time to waste sitting and waiting on the orange tom. Exiting the den, the proud tom searched for any sight of his mentor. Slightly scowling he sat in the center of camp. He didn't see Webstem so far.
All free for interaction.

Sparrowstar stood in the middle of the camp, proud of the place she called home
Olivesplash was still sleeping
JuniperPaw was looking out for something to play with
Pikekit, the little black youngster, was running around the camp. She was chasing after her brother, Milkkit, pretending he was a rabbit. Pikekit was known for being a troublemaker, and barely batted an ear when the warriors of WindClan grumbled as she slipped underneath their paws. She was too focused on catching her 'prey'. Meanwhile, her brother was less careless, squeaking "Sorry!" As he got in the way of the older cats, only to have to dash off again as Pikekit darted after him.
Eaglepaw pranced around camp, her white pelt sleek and well groomed, with the glossy sheen that all RiverClan cats had. The fragrant scent of river and fish hit her nose the moment she left her den, as to be expected, and she enjoyed it as she hovered near the warriors den, awaiting her mentor, Tornspeck's, awakening.
Stopping by the apprentice's den to briefly awaken Dewypaw, Shadestream wasted no time padding to the center of the clearing. It was about time for a dawn patrol, maybe a hunting patrol or two as well...she thought. Immediately, as she entered the clearing, ThunderClan warriors surrounded her, and her gaze darted to each of them, mentally deciding who to assign for the morning. She would have to get these cats dealt with before she could take her apprentice for training.
"Applefur, Yellowswipe! I want you and Olivesplash for the Dawn patrol. Cloverpaw!" She called to the brown She cat emerging from her den. "Wake your mentor! Tell her I want her for a Dawn patrol." The apprentice nodded and darted into the warriors den. Shadestream then studied the other cats, evaluating the best cats for the hunting patrols.
----
Greenpaw darted back as two fuzzy blurs raced past her whiskers, and she stifled a purr of amusement when a few warriors, probably not quite awake yet, weren't as quick as she had been. Shaking her head at the antics of Pikekit and Milkkit, she debated whether or not to wake her mentor. It was a bit early still, she reasoned, so she should be able to wait a little. Glancing around the camp, she looked for some cat to talk to, and her gaze landed on her denmate, Shellpaw. He was awake, watching the kits barrel around camp as well - that was a good starting point for conversation. Her decision made, Greenpaw padded over to the young tom and twitched her whiskers at Pikekit and Milkkit. "I wish I had that much energy in the morning," she mewed, rolling her eyes just slightly. "Did you sleep well?"
----
Sharpkit snuggled up against his sister as he felt himself waking. With a yawn, he blinked his eyes open to see his mother, Muddybird gently nudging Raccoonkit next to him. With a smile, he pushed against the reeds in his nest to press his muzzle into his mother's fur. "Good morning, mama," he said, drawing back to begin smoothing down his brown and cream fur, which was sticking up all over the place. Sharpkit wondered how early it was, since the nursery didn't get much natural light - after all, it was tightly woven to keep out anything that might try to drip or crawl or fall into the den.
----
Fleetflame frowned as he watched first a grumpy-looking Brushpaw, then a fairly upset-looking Mudpaw pad out of the apprentice's den. Much as he wished his anxious apprentice would stand up to the arrogant black-furred tom, he also wished that Brushpaw would drop the attitude. He sighed. Well, wishing catches no prey, he reasoned, padding over to the younger toms. "Good morning, you two. I hope you slept well." Fleetflame gave a kind smile to Mudpaw, figuring the poor 'paw ought to have some more positive reinforcement. "You certainly deserved it after the work you put in yesterday." He wasn't just being generous, either; Mudpaw had worked his tail off through nearly moonhigh helping to repair part of the elder's den that had a branch fall on it so that the elders wouldn't get wet overnight. Needless to say, he was proud of his charge.
Yellowswipe's ears twitched as he heard Shadestream begin to speak. He of course turned towards her listening in. Applefur and Olivesplash, hm? The tom cast his gaze around the clearing, he didn't see them. The two warriors must still be in the den. With the flick of his tail, the tom padded closer to the den. He caught Applefur's advice to Cloverpaw and let out a soft laugh.
Muddybird couldn't help the smile that crossed her face as the kits awoke. "Good morning Sharpkit." She purred in response, running a quick tounge down his back in assistance. She stood up slowly, stretching out her limbs. The pale she-cat padded over to the exit of the nursery, turning back to look at he kits. "Would you two like to get some fresh air?" She said with a small smile.
Brushpaw stopped, listening to Fleetflame's greeting, slightly wrinkling his nose. Giving a small snort and a roll of his eyes he responded. "Good morning Fleetflame." While the apprentice didn't despise the warrior he had to disagree with his statement. Mudpaw, working hard? Those words never, ever, went together. Certainly the apprentice had worked rather hard, but Brushpaw refused to see it. He refused to admit that Mudpaw was competent. "Have you seen Webstem?" The apprentice asked, his tail lashing behind him in irritation.
Liondust stared at the cats slowly filtering out of their dens to begin the day. She couldn't help the feeling of pride welling up inside her at the sight. She watched Pikekit and Milkkit run around without a care in the world, she watched as warriors started to look for their bright-eyed apprentices. Liondust watched as her own apprentice drew interest in a leaf. She gave a soft smile. He would take Juniper out to train today, perhaps they would do some hunting as well. Shaking the thoughts from her head she padded over towards Lakeeyes. The tom was seemingly waiting for something, his eyes narrowed. "Lakeeyes, would you mind leading the Dawn Patrol? I would like it if you took your apprentice along with Twilightstem and his apprentice."
Lakeeyes seemed startled, but he nodded. "Of course Liondust. Standing up he padded over to his apprentice, who seemed to be speaking with Shellpaw. Perfect.
"Oh, I slept pretty great. How about you, Greenpaw?" He heard the pale apprentice speak. Shaking his head, Lakeeyes walked up to the two. "Greenpaw, Shellpaw. It's good to see you together. We have dawn patrol today, could you get your mentor as well Shellpaw?" The older warrior asked. When the apprentice left her turned to Greenpaw. "Are you ready for patrol?" He asked briskly.

Sparrowstar decided to walk around the Riverclan camp
Olivesplash could be seen twitching in her sleep
JuniperPaw found a leaf moving through the wave and chased after it "Wait!"
Purring with amusement, Cloverpaw did just that. With a rather gentle paw, she put pressure on her mentor's tail. "Olivesplash! Wakey wakey!" The brown-furred apprenticed hissed into the warrior's ear. "Shadestream wants you for a patrol!" She glanced back at Applefur, playful excitement causing her whiskers to twitch.
Shadestream grunted, satisfied, and realized the clearing was now rather empty, except for her, Dewypaw, and Ripplespeck, who was pushing her way out of the nursery. Despite being a queen, the dark orange she-cat was still quite a ways away from birthing any kits, yet that only left Shadestream, her apprentice, two queens, and a medicine cat in the camp. Shadestream didn't want to leave the camp undefended for a moment. She glanced into the nursery, catching the moving shapes of the playful kits inside. Shadestream thought of her own possible future kits, and felt protective. "Okay, Dewypaw." She addressed her apprentice. "We'll be staying in camp today for some battle training, then we'll go hunting as soon as the dawn patrol returns."
Milkkit kept running on, before his sister had him backed into a corner. "Haha! I got you!" The night black kit screeched in triumph, before leaping onto the other kit, gently biting into his scruff, as if killing him. The brown and green tom went limp in her grip, panting hard.
"Okay, you win." Milkkit panted. "So can we eat now?" He shook his sister off.
"Sure!" Pikekit darted to the fresh-kill pile, tail held high. It was rather small, as the hunting patrols hadn't come back yet. Pikekit gently took a small bird and brought it to her brother. "I won, so I get the first bite!" She declared.
Mudpaw blinked gratefully at his mentor. "Thank you!" His tail flew up. He always enjoyed praise from his mentor, especially after dealing with the sharp words of his denmate. Working with the elders was never a bother to him as it was with the other apprentices. The older cats understood him. They knew he wasn't interested in awkward conversation. They knew he wasn't good with chatting, so they left him alone, they told their stories, and he'd listened, fascinated. He never minded their sharp tongues or their stinky pelts, and he always felt good bringing them fresh kill. He knew they'd been through a lot, and felt they deserved it. "So, what are we doing today?" He awaited his tabby mentor's response. He enjoyed training, yet battling had to be his least favorite...he always anxious he'd get all the different moves wrong. Memorizing prey movements was much easier, as his mentor couldn't magic up different types of new prey, so he could only hope they would be hunting today. Besides, perhaps getting far into ShadowClan territory could allow him to forget his denmates for a while
As soon as she sighted the russet and white fur of her mentor's muzzle, Eaglepaw took a step back to make room for her. Her fur began to tingle with excitement as her mentor and deputy made her way into the light. "Tornspeck!" The white apprentice purred, greeting her mentor happily. She wondered what her mentor had planned for today, and hadn't even considered that the russet she-cat might not have fully awakened yet.
----
Greenpaw was almost startled by Shellpaw's response. Even though it had been a pretty basic greeting, she was quite used to being widely ignored by cats her age, and she couldn't help a small stab of excitement at the fact that she was finally talking to another apprentice. "I'm glad," she answered eagerly. "I slept pretty-" Greenpaw broke off as she heard her mentor pad up and ask Shellpaw to get his mentor for patrol. Disappointed, she let out a sigh. Well, perhaps they could talk during dawn patrol. Greenpaw nodded, turning her attention fully to Lakeeyes. "Of course," she answered, eager to start the day.
----
Sharpkit smiled and bounced over to Muddybird. "Yeah!" He turned and raced back to his sister. "Raccoonkit, c'mon! Let's go play, let's play!" The warmth of the morning sun was filling the young tom with an unusual amount of energy, shown by the restlessness of his paws as he hopped around enthusiastically. "Do you think one of the apprentices would teach us something cool, Muddybird?"
----
Fleetflame tried very hard not to roll his eyes at Brushpaw's impertinence, and simply pointed the young tom in the direction that Webstem was pacing. "Actually, I think she's looking for you," he mewed, turning his attention to Mudpaw. The warrior was pleased by the happy glow in his apprentice's eyes after receiving praise, and he held back a grin, knowing what he had planned for the day. "Well," he mewed in response to Mudpaw's question, "I was thinking we'd do a bit of hunting today." Fleetflame stretched a bit, glancing around for two other cats. Finally spotting them, he waved them over with a swish of his tail. "But today, you're going to be helping me teach," he purred.
----
Darkpaw gasped. "Hunting?! I get to learn how to hunt?" Usually, the she-cat would be intimidated by a new task - one more thing to stress out about - but she couldn't help but to feel a burst of excitement at the mention of learning a warrior skill.
"That's right," Pineblaze purred, deftly using a claw to stick a borage leaf back into the store. "Falconstar decided that it made perfect sense for us medicine cats to be able to take care of themselves if need be, so today we're learning hunting. Well," the older cat amended, "I already know the basics, so it's more you that will be learning. Fleetflame and his apprentice will be training you today." Pineblaze, finished with her tidying, trotted out of the medicine den. "Don't be a slow snail! Let's get to it!" Darkpaw giggled at her mentor's silly idiom before padding after her, much more eagerly than she usually would. This could actually be very fun!
The queen slightly tilted her head as if in thought. "Hmm..." She drew out, staring at Sharpkit. "Well, maybe if you ask nicely. Although they'd probably just have you help clean out the elder's bedding." Muddybird responded, adding a teasing tone to her voice at the last line. With a small smile she made her way out of the den, blinking her eyes as light shined into her eyes. She spotted Sparrowstar, flicking her tail in recognition as she waited for her kits to come out.
Brushpaw [] Shadowclan Camp
Brushpaw nodded hearing Fleetflame's response. Quickly turning tail he dashed in the direction on his mentor. He slightly hesitated as he watched Darkpaw excitedly chat with her mentor. He quickly turned his head the other way with a scoff after hearing his sister's words. Turning his sharp gaze back on Webstem once more he continued padding over to the she-cat. "Webstem! What are we doing today?" Brushpaw asked, well maybe more of demanded.
Liondust, seeing the dawn patrol padded over to Juniperpaw. "Hello Juniperpaw." She rumbled out, looking at her apprentice. "I was curious if you would want to go on a hunting patrol with me." Liondust asked. It had been a while since she had gone on a patrol, and she found it could be a good way to help train hier apprentice and fulfill her duties as deputy simultaneously.
Duckstar slowly padded out of her den, stretching out in the sun. Her gaze slid over to the two kits enjoying a piece of prey in the camp. A small smile crossing her face she padded over to the young cats. "How are you two this fine evening?" She called out, sitting down. She noticed her deputy was already arranging patrols, so the camp would likely be empty for a short while.
|☆|
Sparrowstar noticed Muddybird and smiled
JuniperPaw nodded "Oooh! Hunting patrol!"
Webstem smiled at her apprentice "oh there you are. I was thinking maybe you could learn some hunting techniques?"
Cloverpaw quickly answered Applefur. "It's going great! I hope my assessment is soon, Owlstar says he might make me a warrior!" Her fur prickled with excitement. It was every apprentice's dream to become a warrior in the eyes of their Clanmates, and in the eyes of StarClan. As her mentor woke up, she repeated herself. "Dawn patrol! Yellowswipe is probably getting impatient out there." She glanced back outside the den urgently.
Shadestream was teaching her apprentice a shoulder striking move to stun her opponents, sneaking quick glances at the warriors' den. What was taking Applefur, Cloverpaw, and Olivesplash so long? The sun was slowly climbing the sky, and the Clan would need fresh-kill. She couldn't wait for Dewypaw and Cloverpaw to become warriors. Once those older kits were apprenticed, then she'd have cats to work with.
Mudpaw's ear twitched as he turned to watch Darkpaw and her mentor pad into the clearing to them. Help his mentor teach? A nervous feeling hit his pelt. He wasn't sure how he could help...his training wasn't even finished yet! Plus, wasn't this Brushpaw's sister? What if the black and brown tom twisted this in some way to bully him...?
No...
He wouldn't let Brushpaw shake his spirits. They were hunting, just like he'd wanted! Besides, he considered himself a good hunter, there was no reason his skills should leave him now! With a quick greeting to Darkpaw and her mentor via a dip of his head, he nodded to his tabby mentor, knowing Fleetflame would want him to act more confident. If he was to be a warrior, he had to shake his past away like a coat of shed fur.
Tornspeck purred seeing her apprentice rise early to greet her. Amber eyes sparkling, she mewed to Eaglepaw. "I'll be assessing your skills today! Let's see how far you've come." There was a challenge in the amber depths of her eyes, and Eaglepaw felt nervous excitement well up in her.
Don't mess this up. The white pelted apprentice thought.
Milkkit was pretty sure it wasn't even a fair game, but he let his sister take first bite anyway. They passed the prey back and forth until there was only bones and feathers left. He stood up, looking down at the remains "Now we have to bury it." He told Pikekit.
"What? Why?"
"Remember what mother said?" The brown and cream top scooped the bones in his tiny jaws. He nudged the feathers toward his sister.
"Oh..." reluctantly, the black kit lifted up the soft feathers. "Well, let's get on with it!" She told her brother, dropping a few feathers as she did so.
----
Greenpaw was almost startled by Shellpaw's response.

Sharpkit giggled. "I wouldn't mind that! It would be like being a 'paw!" He trotted out of the nursery, following closely in her pawsteps. He snuggled close to her forepaw as he glanced back at the den. While he wasn't too nervous as long as Muddybird was here, the kit always felt better with his sister by his side. "Raccoonkit! Come out with me," he called back softly, huddling closer to his mother. Moving his attention back to the clearing, he gasped as he saw Sparrowstar, ducking shyly under Muddybird's fur. While he respected the leader, he was, admittedly, a bit scared of her.

Fleetflame felt a rush of pride at Mudpaw's calm demeanor. While he knew that any apprentice would be nervous at the aspect of teaching, he knew that the tom was most confident in his hunting skills. And perhaps this would help Mudpaw make a friend - a friend that wouldn't bully him the second she saw him. "Good morning, you two," the warrior greeted warmly. "Pineblaze, if I could just work out a few details with you before we go?" Besides wanting to figure out a location, tactic for training, and length of the training, he also wanted the apprentices to get acquainted before they set off. Drawing the medicine cat aside, he gave her a smile. "How is Darkpaw getting on? She seems almost as nervous as Mudpaw sometimes." Pineblaze snorted.
"I agree with you there. She's as anxious as a fox in a fit sometimes - but she's underestimating herself." With a glance back behind her, she purred. "She seems pretty enthusiastic about this, though. I think she'll have fun once she loosens up."
Fleetflame nodded, flicking his tail. "True. I think Mudpaw will be the same way."

Darkpaw almost gasped when her mentor turned and left her alone with Mudpaw. She wasn't used to talking to other apprentices, and while the orange tom wasn't as aggravating or complicated as her brother, she still didn't know him that well. "Uh..hi," she started, awkwardly shuffling her paws. "Oh! Um, I'm really sorry about my brother. Brushpaw always acts like he has burrs in his pelt. It's not your fault," Darkpaw blurted out, remembering how awful Brushpaw usually was to the poor tom. "I promise I'm not like that," the medicine apprentice mewed sincerely, giving Mudpaw a shy smile.
The queen couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped her as Sharpkit hid from Sparrowstar. She truthfully found it a little entertaining how the kit reacted to their leader. Lightly flicking her tail she looked down at the kit. "Come on Sharpkit, how can you help your clan if your afraid of it's leader?" She lightly joked, her tail gently smacking the kit in the face.
Brushpaw [] Shadowclan Camp
Brushpaw seemed to think on his mentor's response for a moment, narrowing his eyes as he stared at the ground. The apprentice supposed it would be good to go over some techniques. "Very well." He quickly replied. While hunting wasn't necessarily the dark tom's favorite, he knew he would have to branch out. You can't be the best warrior if you can't hunt. He gave a light sniff as he shook himself out of his thoughts.
Yellowswipe [] Thunderclan Camp
Yellowswipe let out a little laugh as the cats exited the den. "I was beginning to think you fell asleep as well." The older tom jested, feeling more laughter bubble up his throat. "I don't think Shadestream has any more patience left sadly." His tail gently swayed behind him, his ears swiveling atop his head as they took in all the sounds.
(whoops, sorry)Lakeeyes gave a brisk nod at his apprentice's response. "Good, once Shellpaw and Twilightstem come out we'll get going." His words were quick, leaving a small moment of silence as he watched for Twilightstem and his apprentice to emerge. When the two finally came back, the tom exited the camp with haste. They had already wasted enough time in his eyes. It was just a dawn patrol, meaning it would be very slow paced. There was no reason to draw it out any longer than it had to be.
Liondust gave a warm smile. She felt rather proud of her apprentice, and she made sure it showed. "Excellent. We can take Stoneberry and Sneezecry with us." The cream deputy waved over Stoneberry with her tail, asking her half-brother to get Sneezecry and meet them outside the camp. "I figure while we wait for those two we can work on your techniques." The deputy spoke to her apprentice, leading them out of the camp.

Sparrowstar heard Mubbybird and chuckled when she saw Sharpkit hide.
Juniperpaw followed her mentor, excited.
Webstem smiled, leading her apprentice outside the camp
Mudpaw was surprised at how friendly Darkpaw was compared to her brother. "That's fine." He replied awkwardly. "I don't have to deal with him all day, just in the mornings." He let his left ear angle toward their mentors talking as he spoke to the medicine apprentice. Honestly, it was a little reassuring to find that Pineblaze described Darkpaw as 'as nervous as Mudpaw sometimes.' He was relieved he wasn't the only cat with a lack of confidence. He hoped the two of them may become good friends in the future, but it depended on how well he did here. "My name is Mudpaw, by the way." He told her. He was pretty sure she knew that, but it felt better to introduce himself.
Eaglepaw followed her mentor out toward the lake, finding a space with many streams branching off. RiverClan lived mostly on fish, sometimes a water vole or two, so RiverClan assessments on hunting required a lot of knowledge on fishing, a skill Eaglepaw and the rest of her Clan took pride in. Tornspeck soon gave Eaglepaw the signal to go, and she dashed off, knowing her mentor would be watching her every move.
Cloverpaw followed her mentor out while responding to Applefur. "I was thinking something like Cloverfern or Cloverpelt...Cloverbreeze?" She started listing off possible names as she bounded off to join the patrol, assuming her mentor would want her to tag along.
Shadestream let out a sigh of relief at seeing the selected cats at last leave the den. Perhaps things would finally start happening around here! As she caught sight of Cloverpaw, a thought returned to her head. She turned to her own apprentice. "We should talk to Owlstar soon about your ceremony, eh?" She asked Dewypaw as she flicked her dark tail at the leader's den. "You think you could handle it if I threw a warrior assessment your way?" She purred as the ginger and white she-cat nodded vigorously.
As the kits returned to camp, they found they were just in time to find the warriors leaving for patrol. They waited off to the side of the camp entrance, watching them go and squeaking "Goodbye!" At them in little kitten voices. As their tails vanished behind the entranceway, Milkkit and Pikekit returned to the nursery to check on their mother. Pikekit spoke to her brother as they went. "I hope more queens have kits soon, or mother will be lonely as we go off to be apprentices!" She heard Ferretfire purr from inside at this.
