Greenpaw nodded, waiting in silence with her mentor for the other two cats to appear. As soon as they did, Lakeeyes immediately set off at a clip, and she tried not to roll her eyes. Her mentor wasn't one to sit around and waste sunlight, but he could at least say hello to everyone. The young she-cat soon fell behind the two warriors, keeping pace instead with Shellpaw. As annoying as it was to have to wake up so early, Greenpaw was full of energy at the fact that she'd landed a patrol with her mentor, her father, and an apprentice who didn't constantly ignore her. She gave Shellpaw a smile, feeling a bit bolder than usual. "Does Twilightstem always rush off like this? Lakeeyes seems like he's always in such a hurry," Greenpaw whispered to the other apprentice, making sure to keep her voice down so as not to draw attention.

"M-mom," Sharpkit mewed with embarrassment as he felt her tail lightly tap his face. "I-it's just that I like having Raccoonkit with me, that's all," he said, trying to keep his paws from shaking as he inched a bit out from behind Muddybird. "And..." he flattened his ears a bit. "She's...she's kinda scary! What if I mess something up?" The young kit poked his head around the queen's leg to look at Sparrowstar. Although Sharpkit knew that the leader was really quite kind and wouldn't hurt him, he couldn't help but be intimidated by her powerful appearance. He cast another furtive glance back at the nursery, hoping desperately that his much braver sister would come out to join him.

Darkpaw nodded, relieved that the orange-furred apprentice wasn't going to blame her for her brother's sour attitude. "O-oh, yes, I'm Darkpaw," she responded, feeling a bit more at ease. While they'd clearly met before and knew each other, she found it much more comfortable to have a concrete introduction as a starting point. "Pineblaze says you're a great hunter," she said, attempting to start more of a conversation. It didn't hurt that she was genuinely looking forward to today's training, though. "I feel like I'll just get it all confused. But, um, I'm glad you'll be helping me," Darkpaw said, giving Mudpaw a more relaxed smile.
The queen let the smile on her face drop a little as she listened to her kit. "Racoonkit will always be by your side, even if it doesn't seem like she is. A sibling is your friend for life and even more than that. I know you two will always have each other's back." Feeling like she had touched well enough on that concern, Muddybird moved to the next. "You could never mess up anything enough to upset Sparrowstar unless you really tried." Following her kit's gaze she looked back at the nursery, flicking her tail behind her. "Has Racoonkit still not come out?" The queen was amused but confused.
Brushpaw [] Shadowclan Territory
The apprentice followed wordlessly behind his mentor, his tail lashing behind him. Sure, Brushpaw had just left the camp, but he was already itching to get to training. He would impress Webstem, then everyone else in the clan. They'd have no choice to make him a warrior, then he'd get an apprentice of his own, become deputy, and eventually become a better leader than his mom. It was a foolproof plan in his eyes.
Yellowswipe [] Thunderclan Camp
Yellowswipe listened to the apprentice list of possible warrior names, his ears flicking. "I think Cloverbrook could be a nice one as well." He added his own thought, lightly flicking his right ear. Hearing Applefur's words he glanced to Shadestream, seeing the deputy having moved on to other business. "I believe we are all ready. Any objections?" The tom asked, looking back on the patrol group.
Liondust led his apprentice outside of the camp, the patrol following at a distance. He gave the other two accompanying them directions so they could cover more ground and catch more prey. Once the deputy and his apprentice were left alone he turned to Juniperpaw. "Alright, we can start now. Do you want to catch something first and I can give you pointers?" He asked, tilting his head to accentuate his question.
Shellpaw held back a snort after hearing Greenpaw's words towards her mentor. He turned to the apprentice, keeping up a pace with the warriors. "Nah, I think that's just Lakeeyes for you. Does it ever annoy you?" He asked, trying to keep up a conversation to pass the time spent walking.

Webstem turned to her apprentice "Alright, pay attention."
Olivesplash tired to keep herself fully awake. She wasn't used to waking up early, yet.
JuniperPaw nodded, excited. She's been waiting to impress her mentor
