Sighing, Tirik started to extinguish his Bludbull flames. With a deep inhale, the now massive beast of a Snakefolk slithered across the room, reaching the area that looked like his homelands. Inhaling deeply again, he belched an intense red flame directly into the air, ignoring the fact that it stayed floating there for more than a few seconds. Glancing around his area, he smiled a little, his fangs now their of their usual needle shape. His talons started to pour smoke, and he turned back to look at the other mages. "An assassin claims they need no magic. I claim it helps me." The thick cloud started to build faster, now pouring from his mouth as well. Overtaking him, it flew up towards the sky in a pillar shape, then shot out to the sides and covered the high ceiling of the area. The bottom of the pillar shot up into the sky after the rest, but the Snakefolk was nowhere to be seen. The smoke condensed directly over the other mages, dripping some sort of liquid like a rain cloud, but not like rain. It wasn't like rain at all, it sizzled when it hit the ground. The smoke condensed even further, then dropped to the ground in the sizzling puddle and exploded into the air, flying out and hitting the walls, then dissipating. Tirik stood in the acidic puddle, coiled gracefully. The acid rain was nothing to his scales.

One hand popped out from the snow and bony fingers snapped, the sound waves spreading out to rebuff any acid that came towards Ritsu, keeping him safe from any potential danger. Buried under the snow, Ritsu couldn't find himself to sleep, the seeping cold keeping him awake when paired with the rumbling of the ground as the students around him showed off their powers.

One of Floribunda's assistants made a protective layer of magic, preventing her from hitting the acid rain. Floribunda gave a look of satisfaction. She kept jotting down notes on her paper while glancing at the performing mages.
Dustine stood there nervously. She learnt a lot of spells but she was pretty sure they were all pretty lame. She took a deep breath and cooled her hands down. A cold wind blew in the air and Dustine's yellow eyes slowly turned an ice cold blue. The ground around her froze and the sun was covered in dark clouds. A blast of light shot down and the once empty land in front of her now had a huge ice dragon standing majestically on it. The beast moved his head and nearly stepped on Charlie. After Dustine was contented that she had done her best she outstretched her ice tipped hands. "Come," she ordered. The beast turned into mist and snowflakes floated into her open palm. Her eyes turned into the normal yellow and she sat down. "Wow, that was tiring," she thought.

“As you can tell,” Puzzle started, waving his fingers and the Magic barrier one of the guards made vanished. “These To-Bes are more than capable. They have charisma, bravery, talent and ambition; the makings of a good Mage.” Puzzle muttered, Charlie nodding with him with a satisfied look on the Pumpkin man’s face.

Floribunda had a smirk on her face. "Yes, I believe that your students have proven me wrong," she said. She gave the students a look of satisfaction again before standing up. "Your students can relax for now. Tomorrow we will have to investigate the classes, including how you teach your students," she said. With a wave of her hand, she walked away with the other mages, dismissing the class. Dustine let out a sigh of happiness. "Finally I can rest," she said, lying down on the snow near Ritsu, not caring about the horrid smell he brought to her nose.

The professors watched Floribunda leave. “How arrogant..” Puzzle hissed, flashing a bitter look towards where the Floral Mage had left. Charlie put a hand on Puzzle’s shoulder, making the colourful Mage sigh. Puzzle’s intense expression relaxed. “Well,” Charlie addressed the class after a few moments of quiet. “You all better get back to your dorms, rest for the night. And if I don’t get to say this tomorrow, I’m saying it now. Good luck!” Charlie chirped joyfully, a wide smile on his face.

Merek sighed in relief, even though deep down he felt like he underperformed, like there were more that he could do. He shrugged it off and walked closer to the teachers. "Excuse me,professors, with all due respect but what was this all about? Who was she?" He kindly asked, casting a careful look towards Ritsu to see if he was still lying there and if he was okay.

Puzzle’s face reflexively scrunched into a bitter expression. “Professional Mage, one of the closest to the Queen,” Puzzle huffed, his teeth gritted as he turned to look at Merek. “She must have heard we discovered Flynn.” He finished bluntly, his gaze clearly stressed.

Merek slightly flinched upon hearing that. "What is it that she wants from us? She could have just asked for whatever we could possibly know. No wonder she is as prideful and arrogant...she could at least be a bit humble about being trusted by the Queen..." he hissed. "...what are we going to do?"

By now most of the snow had melted off Ritsu's form, leaving behind what the sun had done to him. His clothes were fine, the light bellamy shirt he wore soaked through to press against his back, rubbing uncomfortably against the exposed sinew and muscle. Sitting up with a groan, Ritsu turned his head towards the group present and a moment of fear washed over them at the diluted pupils, a red glow rimming them. Thin lips peeled back with a beginnings of a snarl rising before he shook himself like a dog, wet drops flying everywhere as his pushed himself to his feet. "We do what freaks like us do best. Survive." He bit out, covering his nose with the frilled sleeve. Sending one last spiteful gaze towards Floribunda, he swept towards the exist

Dustine got up and dust herself off. "Well, whatever she wants, we should be careful. We shouldn't talk about that dead guy while she's here. She could sneak up on us and find out," Dustine said. "Anyway, I'll be in my room, goodbye," she said to the others as she made her way to her room.
She walked in the surprisingly empty corridor, not a single student was in sight, though she could smell Ritsu in the distance. The sweet smell still wafted in the air. "Floribunda must have been here," she mumbled. She quickened her pace until she reached her room, then shut the door. She turned and sat down on her bed. "How long can we keep this secret before she find out..." she wondered.

(I don't mind.)

Merek started making his way towards his dorm as well. "Hey,Ritsu. You good? I must admit that what you did took guts... Just make sure you don't get in trouble like today." he said trying to catch up to him.

Tirik pushed his bulk out of the doorway, driven by the controlled writhing of his long tail.It was clear that little act of magic he'd done was only small for him, as he didn't seem at all fazed or tired. Reaching his dorm, his eyes grew heavy with the heat, his body speeding up and slowing down at the same time. Bouncing from ledge to ledge again, he reached the highest point he could get to, then draped his coils around the room and fell asleep, hid hood closing.

Merek woke up and the first thing he did was to zap himself to wake up instantly. He had to be in top shape if he had to live up to Ms. Floribunda's expectations. He took his bag and headed outside. He went to the bulletin board to see if there was any other emergency this day as well.

In fact, there was a notice on the board.

Students of class 7-C,
Please come to your classroom at 2pm, you know what it’s for.
Bring notebooks, we’ll be demonstrating a history lesson, if you know what I mean.
Be there early or on time, being late will have consequences.

Merek sighed and went towards the cafeteria to grab so he could start off his day. He wasn't hungry, per usual. He had quite a bit of time for the meeting.

The forest was alive as Ritsu crouched under the shade of the trees, mouth splattered with blood as he licked off the last remnants of his meal off his fingers. Sticking his tongue out, the vampire threw the cleaned off bones of a small animal off to the side using the grass to clean off as much of the blood as possible. His stomach growled, begging for more but Ritsu ignored it in favor of glancing up at the sky. He had spent longer than expected out hunting and now the pull of lethargy was crashing against him like waves on a beach. Scowling, he made a break for the school, hurrying through the open field to duck into the shaded corridors and quickly made.his way up to his room. Passing by the notice board, the vampire narrowed his eyes at it and moved on, his scowl deepening

Tirik shoved himself off of his ledge, spreading his wings to slow the fall a bit. Landing with a thud, he scratched at his face. "Itchy, itchy..." Raking his claws along the back of his open hood, his face began to pull away. After a few moments, he sat holding a relatively opaque shell of his face. Sighing, he dropped the shed skin and slid over it, hearing it crack. Grabbing his tunic, he pushed through the door, headed for the cafeteria. Glancing across the notice board, he sighed again. "I'll be ready to shed all of this by then..." He chuckled at the thought of the flower mage and the look she might make if he literally crawled out of his skin while she was there. Sighing a third time, he made his way to the cafeteria to feast on half of the entire breakfast there. His stomach growled at the thought of saturating his body with a feast, of growing again tonight once his skin shed, like he always did. "Metamorphosis is soon, Tirik. Don't worry." He flexed his wings, excited at the idea of spending two months wrapped in himself, in more scales than could be counted, then shedding the cocoon and bursting forth with wings large enough to carry him through the sky, even with the added lengths of his coils he would be greeted with. He was smiling, his hood wide in satisfaction.
