Charlie sheepishly entered the room. “S-sorry for the wait, someone wants to meet you all,” The Pumpkin man’s boots clacked quietly as he approached the front of the room, Puzzle behind him holding his head as if he were in mild pain. “Someone from the Kingdom.” Puzzle finished, his voice bitter and laced with malice. He followed after Charlie, looking at the clock on the wall and sighing. “They’ll arrive soon, don’t say anything I wouldn’t.” The colourful professor retorted as he leaned against a wall.

Dustine quit looking at her red scarred hand and looked up at Mr. Charlie. "Why does he sound mad and nervous?" she wondered. Well, he did say there's a visitor from the kingdom so maybe that's why he's worked up. The person must be someone important if they made the usually jolly teacher like this. She sighed, "Why did I get myself in this situation in the first place?" she groaned in her head.

Merek gulped as he heard the "Don't say anything I wouldn't" part. He felt as if this whole meeting will turn into an interrogation real soon. Anyhow,it wouldn't take that long even if there are quite some students present.

There was a scowl on Ritsu's face as he clicked his tongue and glared at the wall. He didn't like the capital in general. The smell of blood that permeated every citizen disgusted him to an extent, the blood belonging to others. It reminded him too clearly of his own clan members who walked among the night, cloaked in the skins of strangers with foreign blood running through their veins. Turning to Merek, Ritsu poked the other on the shoulder a bit harshly. "You're too nervous. Loosen up." He grumbled.

After shrugging his shoulders,Merek exhailed and tried to calm down. "The Queen's men will interrogate us,is it regarding that letter and Darius Flynn?" he asked looking around,trying to spot whoever would answer.

Puzzle tapped his foot a few time, then rolled his eyes and shot a glare at the clock. “They’re late.” The Professor snarled, his back crooked and bags under his eyes. A small frown on his face, Charlie approached Puzzle and put a hand on his shoulder, making the slouching man shake him off. Sheepishly, Charlie allowed this to happen.

Dustine groaned impatiently. Why are some people so inconsiderate. First they had to take up her free time when she could be studying or relaxing but worst of all they had to be late. Were the people from the Kingdom like that? If they were, Dustine could really give them a lesson on stop wasting people's time. It was already four o'clock and everyone was still waiting for their arrival. She started silently complaining in her mind without realizing the sharp, cold spikes on her hands.

"Maybe..." He mumbled, closing his eyes. Nodding off, Ritsu's head lolled to the side his breaths growing deep as he feel asLeep under the dim light of the room. The sun was warm on his skin, heating it into a barley tolerable burn that bubbled under the surface. He didn't really care that he was supposed to be waiting for someone, his own lethargy pulling him into an endless slumber only to be awoken by the retreating warmth of the sun.

Before Dustine could doze off like Ritsu, the huge classroom door flung open and a group of strangers walked in led by a woman whose mage cloak suggests that she was one of the higher rankings. She looked around the classroom like she was the boss in the room and signalled to the group of mages behind her. Not saying a word, she gracefully sat herself down on a nearby chair while the other mysterious mages surrounded her. Dustine could see the puzzled look on, well, Puzzle's face. She knew these weren't the visitors they were expecting. She kept her mouth closed and let the teachers do the talking.
"I'm truly sorry for our late arrival, the Queen has other affairs to attend do so I will be her replacement," she said. She looked over at the teachers as if she was expecting an answer.

Puzzle and Charlie straightened. Puzzle’s facial expression morphed to be enraged, making Charlie push in front of him. “Greetings, what brings you here, then?” Charlie’s face was bright, a faked, wide smile on his orange face. Puzzle looked away, trying to hide the anger and succeeding for the most part.

The loud bang didn't wake Ritsu up at all, but the boy stirred at the sudden flood of light from the open door one eye peeking open to ascertain and remove the annoyance that had disturbed his slumber. When he realized that there was more people present, he sighed through his nose and tucked his head to his chest, using his knees to block out the light before drifting back off to sleep. This commotion didn't seem to interest him at all

Merek kept nudging and poking Ritsu,since the people who entered seemed a bit too serious and first impressions were quite important. He didn't move an inch away from Ritsu,however,but he tried to make eye-contanct with the strangers to not seem rude. The robe of the woman sitting caught most of Merek's attention.

When the party entered, Tirik immediately straightened up and spread his hood as far as it would go. His muscles rippled under his scales, his impressive build shown off for the first time. He looked more primal like that, more ready to strike with his fangs rather than his arms. Speaking of fangs, they seemed to grow larger as he bared them, pulling his reptilian lips back to show the flashy white weapons off. His hands came together in front of him, their claws glinting even in the darkness of the room. In every aspect, he seemed to be showing himself off, demonstrating how he could best anyone in physical battle, even if he didn't use his magiks to surround them.

The woman looked at Charlie with a face that Dustine just wanted to rip off. It was too kind. Too kind that it seemed absolutely fake. She let out a small growl. She didn't like this new visitor.
"Orders from the Kingdom. We were instructed to inspect this school since it is, or should be, one of the top magic schools here," she started. She glanced at Dustine, Tirik and lastly Ritsu. "We expected a welcoming visit from what we heard from the chat in the Kingdom, but I guess it was all just rumors after all," she said with an unimpressed face. Dustine felt anger bubbling inside her and had to chant the word 'patience' to stop herself from lunging at the newcomer.
"Anyways, we'll be staying around here for a few days so I, I mean, we the people from the Kingdom expect to see a better result than this," she said. "I suppose we can start that off with a tour of the school?" she added in a monotone voice.

Charlie’s fake smile was amazingly believable. “Of course! Why don’t we show you our training grounds first?” His voice was so innocent, butter couldn’t melt in his mouth. “To-be Mages, you may follow! I’d like you to show our visitor your strength.” He turned away from the Mage, his face dark with meaning. Puzzle’s eyebrows raised slightly with shock at the Pumpkin’s malice.
“Of course, you wouldn’t have any objections, right..” Puzzle paused to inspect her face. “Floribunda, Mage of Flowers?”

Had no one got up to follow Mr. Charlie to the training ground,it would be quite uncomfortable and awkward so Merek raised his head and waited for when the grown-ups would also stand up to begin the tour. The fact that there was a possibility he would have to maybe showcase his powers made him a bit anxious which resulted in him repeatedly tapping his foot.

"Of course, lead the way," Floribunda said, standing up. The other mages surrounding her followed.
Dustine, who was previously glued to her chair, stood up and followed along behind them. She didn't like to show off her powers, but who cares. Most of the people here have seen her training plenty of times before. These mages are no different. She started to memorize all the spells she learned in her head as they made their way to the training grounds. "Thank goodness I brought my book with me," she said, taking out her spell book and skimming the pages for anything she might have left behind.

"Muggghhhh..... So annoying, why do we have to do this. I just wanna sleep, let me sleep, I didn't sign up for any morning classes." Ritsu bemoaned, pushing himself to his feet. Swaying precariously from side to side, he stumbled out hissing at the still bright sun. The warm and tolerable burn was amplified into a scorching heat that made him desperately want to turn around and duck back into the shade.

Tirik started his motion with a small lunge, pulling his body from itself. His tail rocked side to side as he uncoiled all fourteen feet of himself, each individual muscle tensed as if ready to strike with his fangs instead of his claws. Slipping through the doorway, he ducked his head and snagged Ritsu around the waist, tossing the vampire over a shoulder. "I'm sure there's somewhere dark at the training area, lazy bones."

Relaxing as soon as he was picked up off the floor, Ritsu made a happy little noise and flopped over on Tirik's shoulder content to be carried around. "Not lazy~" he sang, closing his eyes to doze off. The sun was way too strong and Tirik was warm, the combination making falling asleep a much easier task. Well, easier than it already was for the vampire
