I have space in my party, I have the gems and I can adopt other eggs, but it won't let me adopt tyrogue?

Oh. First, you needed to have Tyrogue in your Storage Box/ PokéDex entries.. before that Gem Collector exchange a Tyrogue (egg) with you. 🤔

I do own every other tyrogue evolution, if I didn't the trade wouldn't even appear in the first
And is not the fact that I don't have tyrogue itself as I could get an elgyem egg even when I only had the evolution

Did you search for it?
From what I remember, it would get the Dex number of the evolution, so it's possible that #236 Tyrogue simply doesn't exist, but #237 [or one of the 1st gen Hit numbers] could work?

I think you can't buy baby pokemon eggs from the gem collector. Dunno why they're not excluded from the list altogether in that case. (I could be wrong though.)

I just bought a Pichu Egg as test and it worked. So that's not it.

ended breeding a tyrogue and after it hatched it let me get the egg. I imagine this was actually a bug, as I was able to adopt every other baby pokemon and pokemon I only had the evolutions minus tyrogue.

Was it possibly because you didn't have Tyrogue's eggdex before? Or did you?

I did have the eggdex, as I hatched and evolved 3 other tyrogues before trying to get it from the gem collector

I know this thread is old, but I'm trying to get a tyrogue egg myself and I'm running into this issue. Definitely sounds like a bug, and I'm not sure if there's already a bug report on it yet/if Riako knows about this?

Which Hitmon do you have? Have you looked in the list at their Dex Number?

I have Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. They aren't in the Gem collector list.
Don't have eggdex for them, but neither do I have an eggdex for Bellsprout and I bought an egg fine just now.

Weird. I bought an Oddish egg months ago and I didn't have it for dex when I had the other evos..
